• Wiffen (4/5): Cheap and cheerful but probably better options. Location great for central Birmingham. - Great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Sheets were very itchy and the mattress very hard. The low thud of dance music stopped me sleeping for the first few hours….

Staff helpful and always there in reception. - The room was very clean and modern although very basic ( no hairdrier, tea making facilities etc...) although I was made aware I could borrow a hairdrier and there was a coffee machine in reception.Shower was hot with good pressure and the hotel was very quiet. Opportunity to leave luggage after checkout was appreciated and fee of £5 not excessive. Everything was good - there was nothing I didnt like as this is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. Cleanliness is the greatest issue and this was very good.

• Edward Hayden (6/5): - Location close to station clean rooms Had to.pay extra 15 pound for early check in no check im till 3pm half the day is gone got there at 1pm rooms are ready,clean and empty and want you to pay extra for the room even tought its empty and check out at 10am is abit early was not happy with the service if going to Birmingham again would not use this hotel for that reason

• Scott (9/5): Would recommend for location and the staff. - Clean and well setup, the staff were attentive without being over bearing. They helped with suggestions on where to eat etc. The room was compact but with floor to ceiling windows giving great light. It was also quieter than most Premier Inn I have stayed in. More than one towel in the room would have been better, but not a big issue. More than one lift would have been useful to, as the wait for the upper floors could be a while.

Sehr effektive Raumnutzung, aber etwas halsbrecherisch an das zweite Bett zu gelangen, da nur wenige Zentimeter Platz. Und kaum Platz um zwei kleine Koffer zu stellen.

Solo había una toalla de baño para dos personas. No había toalla de manos. Los enchufes y usb de una parte de la cama no funcionaban (usb A, habría estado bien tener usb c). La cama no es muy cómoda, algo pequeña y el nórdico era muy corto para el tamaño de la cama).

Bedroom absolutely tiny, barely any room to get around the beds and nowhere to put a suitcase. Thankfully only staying one night.

Someone needs to tell the staff and policy makers that you don’t need a passport to travel from London to Birmingham and you don’t need a drivers licence if you travel by train. Stupid policy which they could not explain the reason, just kept repeating the policy over and over again

• Martin (4/5): Lovely staff and very clean hotel..unfortunately not for us ! - Hotel is in a great location five minute walk from new st station and was spotlessly clean.Greeted by a lovely chap on the reception desk who made us more than welcome. There were a few negatives such as paying to store suitcase which was £5 for each day.No furniture..ie chair or table and only one towel in the room dedpite two of us staying the night.Bed mattress was uncomfortable with only one pillow each.No kettle in the room.a drinks machine in the reception charging £1 for hot water.

Quando siamo arrivati ci hanno fatto aspettare per 15 minuti alla reception e per scusarci ci hanno offerto il late check-out che ci sarebbe costato 20£. Avevamo la stanza senza finestra. Per pochi giorni è fattibile, per più tempo non molto. Non tanto perchè "mancava l'aria" ma perchè non sapevamo dove mettere i bagagli e appoggiare le cose. Inoltre, nonostante la nostra stanza fosse verso l'interno, il sabato notte la musica alta si è sentita fino a mezzanotte e mezza.

They did a fire evaluation plan on arrival which was awesome, pull cords were correct, shower chair, grab bars and space for things. Only 1 side of the bed was wheelchair friendly so if 2 people both need to transfer in thats not great. Pull door into the building could be better as automatic but hey it worked. My biggest issue was the bed was pretty hard. It would work for some but joint issues are one of my disabilities and I hurt so much the next day because of it.

The room was very small and appeared larger in the photos. It lacked basic facilities—there was no table, kettle, wardrobe, or even space to place a suitcase comfortably. Although I didn’t ask for additional items, it would have been helpful if the staff had informed guests in advance about what amenities or items could be requested.
