Edward (4/5): See above - It was OK, but nothing exciting. The Owner and her staff were not "user friendly". They are eastern European and have not adapted to Scottish values. They were dour and rather unfriendly and there was a notice on the breakfast room door that basically stated that the room could be used only for breakfast. There was no other "common room". We told the owner that our group of 12 adults (average age about 80) were planning to use the room in the 3 evenings as a sitting room and she reluctantly agreed. We could have given her full marks, except for her attitude.

Francis (4/5): Unusual B&B arrangement. - Good shower. The heating clearly struggled to make its way from the boiler to the top floor radiators so that the room was not warm. A help-yourself buffet breakfast of pre-packed food was disappointing. There was no fire escape separate from the single main stairway.

Loved the entrance to the property, kept beautifully. Wish my own house looked like this. Sounds silly but could be doing with a better tv remote as it didn't work well, that's all.

Steven (4/5): Work trip, wouldn’t stay again. - It was a good location and reasonably priced. I stayed on the top floor, the heating stopped working and I had to sleep in trousers and jumper. Also it stated that the longest on the ground floor was only to be used during breakfast and I had work to do on my laptop which the room did not accommodate so had to go out and find a bar to do my work.

Emma (8/5): Beautiful property - The location of this property is right in the middle of Peterhead. The room we had was beautiful and very special. The bathroom equally was very big with a lovely bath. We booked the room for two adults and a child. It was a shame the sofa bed and bedding wasn’t set up. We also only had two towels provided.

The weather was not great during our stay and we were unable to turn up the radiator in the room, so it could have been a bit warmer. But that was only a minor problem.

This is a gem, very tastefully presented and spotlessly clean, we found all the facilities excellent, a very comfortable stay. The breakfast is an help yourself continental, everything was provided for, a very adequate meal. The property is very close to shops and all amenities. We would most definitely stay again.

My friends I travelled with were also more than wonderfully impressed. The value for money was exceptional. Door was a bit stiff? We had booked for 4 people: 2 adults, a teenager & 9 year old. Sadly the sofa bed was not big enough for two people. Therefore, our 9 year old had to sleep in with us.
Stephanie (10/5): Beautiful hotel - Beautiful hotel, attention to detail was great, lots of tea coffee choice, there was an extension plug that was very handy for multiple chargers/devices, bed was comfy and everything was spotlessly clean, you can tell the owners take pride in their property and access was very easy to collect keys etc location was great, I'd definitely stay again It's just a wee shame there are no pet friendly rooms but that seems to be the case for much of the area

B&B davvero pessimo. Non fatevi fuorviare dal nome “boutique” perché di boutique non ha proprio nulla. Io ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia (tot 4 persone) nella camera Jacobean. Non è assolutamente per 4 persone (guardate le foto). Struttura vecchia, fredda, odore sgradevole, moquette e carta da parati da sostituire. Il divano che doveva accogliere i miei 2 ragazzi è piccolo e sporco vedi foto) e abbiamo dovuto dormire in 4 di traverso nel matrimoniale. Inoltre il bagno (discreto) non è in camera ma occorre uscire in corridoio e raggiungerlo al fondo della casa. Ogni porta va aperta con due serrature contemporaneamente… impossibile tenere qualcosa in mano mentre si apre una porta. Insomma… dovevamo fare due notti ma ne abbiamo fatta solo una e abbiamo preso un altro hotel per la disperazione. Ah… ovviamente ho scritto subito, appena arrivati, alla proprietaria che non si è degnata neanche di rispondermi.

Daniela (8/5): Unkompliziert und praktisch in einem reizenden Ort mit tollen Zimmern. - Gut zu finden und obwohl unser Zimmer zur Straße ging: Nachts war es trotzdem sehr ruhig. Die liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmer waren etwas ganz besonderes. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und alles war sehr sauber. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Auch das Frühstück hätte aus unserem eigenen Schrank/Kühlschrank kommen können, aber einen so schönen Frühstücksraum haben wir leider nicht zuhause :) Wir sind als Familie gereist und hatten zwei Zimmer. Leider gibt es im ganzen Haus keine Möglichkeit, zusammen zu sitzen. Die Zimmer waren dazu zu klein und hatten keine Sitzgelegenheit. Das Frühstückszimmer darf nur morgens zum Frühstück genutzt werden. Im Garten gibt es eine kleine Sitzgelegenheit, aber ohne Wetterschutz.

Steve (6/5): - Well presented accommodation, clean and tidy with reasonable breakfast. I would suggest a rear facing room as road noise and seagulls will keep you awake. WIFI didn't work upstairs and casement window was faulty so couldn't close completely. Overall ok

Christie (8/5): Better than I expected. - Absolutely spotless, well located, very comfortable. Looked like an interior designer was involved. Nothing springs to mind. Maybe lots of stairs for us old codgers.

Heather (9/5): Highly recommend - Such a beautiful BnB. The room was a good size, lovely view and there was a large range of foods for breakfast. Lovely garden out back and no issues with parking on the street. Our room had a separate bathroom, but it was only for our use. No sink in the room, but this was just a minor issue and only mentioned it as there was nothing else we didn't like.

No staff in attendance at property - very impersonal. Room at the top of building with 4 flights of stairs to negotiate. Had to move lots of rubbish bins to get bikes into back garden.
