• Henk (7/5): Voor een nacht was het te doen - ontbijt locatie en personeel was goed. Aardige eigenaar en heerlijk gegeten. Het bed, de matrassen waren doorgezakt als nadeel dat de douche niet in de kamer aanwezig was, via de gang moest je naar douche

• CS-Tourenfahrer (8/5): - Wir hatten das Heinz-Rühmann-Zimmer. Sehr originell. Gutes Essen, gutes Bier. Wir waren auf der Durchreise. Gasthof und Lage machen Lust auf einen längeren Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön, aber auch ziemlich teuer. Waschbecken im Zimmer, Dusche/WC sehr klein.

• Döring (8/5): Das Madlbauer ist sehr ruhig gelegen und wir konnten uns gut erholen. - Die Lage am Thumsee ist perfekt. Der Natursee hat sehr klares Wasser. Die Madlbauer Liegewiese ist sehr gepflegt. Zum Frühstück hatte nur etwas Kuchen gefehlt.

• Ricci Daniels (9/5): Schön gelegenes Hotel direkt am Thumsee; gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, freundlicihes Personal - Top gelegenes Hotel unmittelbar am schönen Thumsee; ruhig, sauber, schöne Umgebung und Atmosphäre, freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstücksbuffett, romantischer Biergarten vor dem Hotel, ausreichend Parkplätze, rund-um sehr gelungen; gerne wieder! Wenig; Kühlschrank im Zimmer wäre empfehlenswert.
• Franziska (7/5): - Die Unterkunft zeichnet sich durch eine traumhafte Lage aus. Direkt gegenüber befinden sich frei zugängliche Badestellen und gegen ein geringes Eintrittsgeld auch ein tolles Freibad. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war durch die tollen Kaffeegetränke ok. Die Auswahl war eher gering. Die Zimmer sind schön gestaltet, jedoch sehr hellhörig und teils direkt über dem Restaurant/ Biergarten, sodass man die Gäste bis 22 Uhr hören kann.

• Sarah (6/5): Rustic Hotel by the lake - In a quiet, beautiful setting on the Thumsee you'll find this family run Hotel. For the value the breakfast (continental) was good and you could have your pick of coffees. We received a complimentary Prosecco upon arrival, which was a nice gesture. It's a pity that in this day and age the Hotel only takes cash! The hotel itself is old and you can hear everything. In addition the bathrooms are not in the rooms but across the hall.

Great breakfast and a good menu. Food is very good. Very close to Salzburg. The property is beautiful. The lake, mountains the view. There is nothing that I didn’t like.

• Hana (9/5): Great stay and super friendly staff - The accomodation is located next to a beatiful lake with crystal water and publich beach. Staff was friendly and super helpful. The building itself is a mountain cottage typical for this area. Furniture is still original which supports unique atmosphere of the place. Restaurant provides variety of local dishes which were tasty and for good price and seating on the garden was very pleasant. Breakfast provides sufficient options of sweet and salty meal versions. Overall, we had a great stay. The accomodation is outside of the town so it is better to have a car. There is a local bus going every hour, but it stops operating around 7pm.
• U4316112 (8/5): Very good - Very friendly owner, we were welcomed with a glass of prosecco. Really beautiful place with stunning view. The room was nice, very spacious and with a balcony with a beautiful view over a lake . The location was fantastic, it is close to many hiking trails and not far from Eagle's Nest, Konigssee, Hintersee, Ramsau Village, and Salzburg, Austria. The bathroom was not comfortable. Poor sound proofing. We could hear the people in the next room very well. We did not like the matrass on the bed but it could be personal.

Inacceptable pour une nuitée à 105 € sans petit déj. ! Je passe une centaine de nuitées par an à l'hôtel et cedc idepuis bientôt trente ans. Je n'ai jamais vu cela (pour 105 € !!)

Our bathroom was on the other side of the corridor but it was very easy 2 steps and it was very clean and had everything. Very nice personal...they even fed us late in the evening in the restorante. Thank you. We could hear the people in the next room very well. We did not like the matras on the bed but it could be personal.

• Lucie (9/5): Superb - Really beautiful place with stunning view. Great walk around the lake and nice stuff. There wasn't much choice for breakfast, but all the food was of good quality. And also the place is dog friendly :) 100% recommend The bathroom wasn’t in our room, so when we wanted to go to the bathroom, we had to cross the hall. Also the stuff speaks only German but we were able to communicate through the translator.

Would certainly return again It's an old building, so while the bathroom was adequate it was very dated. Shower and toilet in separate en-suite bathroom, but washbasin in the bedroom. Fine for a couple of many years standing, but some might find this a bit uncomfortable.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Als Vielreisender und Hundehalter muss ich mich hier einmal klar äussern: Ich bin selten so fürsorglich, freundlich und (samt Hund) geduldig bewirtet worden wie hier. Man erhebt hier nicht! den Anspruch der 5-Sterne -wellness-Oase, sondern den eines Landgasthofes, dementsprechend ist die Ausstattung natürlich rustikaler. Aber jeden Tag gereinigt und frische Handtücher. Personal-absolut nett. Preis-mehr als bescheiden. Lage-traumhaft. Biergarten und See vor der Zimmertür! Ich habe jeden Tag genossen und freue mich auf einen 2. Besuch
• MM (4/5): - The room of the hotel was quite nice, very spacious and with a balcony. It was inconvenient that the (private) shower was located in a separate room, which couldn’t be locked from the outside. This means that anyone can make use of your shower and toilet. And, on sunny summer days, that’s a lot of people. The area gets extremely busy. This means that you shouldn’t come here for a quiet stay. Even late in the evening we were disturbed by loud guests; hotel staff did nothing to calm them down. Breakfast was fine, but the hotel did not reply to the request for gluten free bread.
