• Oo (10/5): - I loved everything about this place. The room is unique and comfortable, and it feels like living in the jungle. You can easily get there by bus. For me, it’s one of the best places to stay in Matara. There’s a quiet beach right in front of the hotel with no people. You can still reach the main spots around Matara in about 20 minutes. The host family is very kind and welcoming, and the breakfast is really good. There’s no AC, but the fan works perfectly. I slept well and didn’t wake up from the heat, unlike other places I stayed. The WiFi is also good. N/A

• Boakes (7/5): Wonderful hosts made it an enjoyable stay - The breakfast was super fresh and tasty. They catered for gluten free, which was amazing! The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Gave us recommendations for where to see the turtles. Wildlife out the back of the tree house was a great place to see monkeys and birds. Although the kettle wasn’t in our room for check in, the host was able to source one and give us the tea and coffee too. Hosts were super attentive to our likes and dislikes for breakfast. They let me use their fridge to store our drinks. The room write up is a little exaggerated. The room was very basic with no minibar, sea view, shared kitchen We had the upstairs room, which looked out over the garden.
• Miriam (10/5): Eine Unterkunft mit einem traumhaften Gastgeber, der nicht zu übertreffen ist - Eine traumhafte Unterkunft,- die absolut empfehlenswert ist und genau in der Mitte liegt von Talalla Beach und Matara und gleichzeitig einen Strand bietet,- den man in 2 Minuten zu Fuss erreichen kann. Wir sind nachts angekommen und durften uns jederzeit einfach melden wurden mit einem Lächeln empfangen und wirklich alles wurde versucht, irgendwie zu arrangieren und recht zu machen. Allein schon wegen dem tollen Gastgeber lohnt es sich,- dort zu übernachten. Ein Mensch, auf den man sich 1000 Prozent verlassen kann und vertrauen kann in jeder Hinsicht. Wir hatten noch Stress mit der Fluggesellschaft, die unser Gepäck nicht geliefert hat über viele Tage und auch da hat er uns wie selbstverständlich geholfen. Die Affen waren gleich am ersten Morgen auf dem Balkon und ein Waran hat uns beim Frühstücken zugeschaut. Es gab sogar frische Mango immer zum Frühstück. Man kann dort sehr gut eintauchen und sich wohlfühlen,- gerne wieder bei der nächsten Reise. herzlichen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt Sehr leise hat man die strasse manchmal im Hintergrund gehört, die nicht weit entfernt liegt.
• Eliška (10/5): - Naprosto úžasné ubytování, skvělý pokojíček s teráskou do džungle, čisto, všichni milí, přátelští, svou lámanou angličtinou jsem si fajn popovídali s mladým majitelem...doporučil nám okolní místa k návštěvě... Přes silnici krásná pláž, super koupání ve vlnách... A snídaně? Naprosto dokonalá... Díky, doporučuji všem a určitě bychom se sem vrátili 👍🌞🤗💓
• Andreas (8/5): Eine einfache, urige Unterkunft, wie ein Baumhaus am Waldrand mit manchmal Affenbesuch - Die Unterkunft war zuerst etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Wir waren im 1. Stock, der über eine schmale Treppe erreichbar ist. Aber dann haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Wir konnten die Affen vom Balkon aus beobachten und der Besitzer und seine Familie sind sehr nett, wir haben viel über Sri Lanka von ihm erfahren. Seine Schwester hat immer super leckeres Frühstück und Abendessen gekocht. Sein Bruder war immer zur Stelle, wenn wir ein TukTuk brauchten und hat uns sogar bis Galle gefahren und gewartet bis wir mit der Besichtigung fertig waren und das alles zu sehr moderaten Preisen. Zu den Stränden oder in die Stadt braucht man ein TukTuk, aber in ca 10 min sind 2 schöne Strände
• Eliska (10/5): A very pleasant stay - A tree house with a balcony, you can see monkeys and other animals every day. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable. It’s quiet, even though it’s located near a road. The beach in front of the hotel is not suitable for swimming due to big waves, but the owner gave us recommendations as to where we can go. Breakfast was also delicious, Sri Lankan, changing up every day. Overall it was a very nice stay and we would definitely stay again. Nothing

He was very helpful with my travel arrangements and attentive to my needs. The breakfast was superb and so was the WIFI. The beach was very close and buses to town were inexpensive and frequent.

• Mingfeng (10/5): Exceptional - Ｈｅ is so kind and Enthusiasm, he also gave us two cups of freshly squeezed juice. The hot water in the room is not very stable, but I like the shape of this tree house very much, and the location is also very good.

He helped my friend arrive as a last minute guest and was always accommodating and contactable. The room was very clean and felt homely. • Lea (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location at the edge of the jungle. It was raining when we stayed there so we sadly didn't get to meet any monkeys on the balcony though.. The owner was very helpful, speaks great English, arranged an early breakfast and tuktuk ride for our departure. It's about 40 minutes walking to the dondra lighthouse which has great bathing spots and very scenic beaches.

The owner and his family made me feel like a member of the family and at home. Lovely rustic and forest side room with visit of monkeys sometimes. 😍🐵 The place is quite, silent and just across the road to the beach. They offer nice breakfast and meals with fair prices. I got the surfboard, went surfing very close to the place and had lot of fun. I highly recomend Season Four Cabana Mini Jungle. They helped me with all services! Surf, tuktuk of his brother, massage, etc.. Thanks ! Very nice stay in Matara. 👍👌✌💚

The host and his family do everything to make your stay comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! The bed is comfortable enough, but don't expect a five star cushy mattress 😃
