Das grosse Bett, Aircondition, Kühlschrank, Haartrockner, Wasserkocher, Wifi, eine wunderbar funktionierende Dusche und der Balkon sind ein riesen plus. Ich würde die Unterkunft sofort wieder buchen. —

• Colin (4/5): Property was great, experience on check out terrible. - The property was very nice. Fitted description and clean The property was clean and comfortable. No problem with host or room very pleasant. Until the morning of departure!! Check out time was 10.00am. At 9.49am our front door was being hammered on so hard I thought there was perhaps a fire elsewhere or a serious emergency I ran to the door to find it was the cleaner trying to get in I advised her we would be 10-15 minutes as we were running slightly behind. In the 15 minutes before we checked out the cleaner repeatedly hammered on the door some 5 times when we left she shouted at us in a very rude and disrespectful manner. We left in such a hurry feeling pressurised we unfortunately left our drinks in the fridge. One of the drinks leaked slightly in the fridge and they are now trying to charge us for a new fridge which I have declined to pay for. A wipe with a cloth would have resolved problem but I can only assume the cleaner was having a traumatic day. One last comment about property, lovely room, spotlessly clean as described so do not let this review put you off from staying there. The cleaner ruined our stay.

• Craig (10/5): Great place to stay - We enjoyed everything. The proximity to the restaurants and the water(3 minute walk). The bed was really comfortable, the balcony was a nice perk also. Excellent! One channel on the tv. lol I did learn a bit about the Turkish government though 🤣

• Kirsti (9/5): Superb - The villa was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We found the room and bathroom to be spacious and renovated. The location was quiet but still an easy 10 minute walk to the old town. Communication regarding check-in was excellent with useful photos to help us find our way. We really enjoyed our stay. The drain became a bit smelly the last night we were there. It didn't detract from our stay.
• Angela (7/5): Perfect spot in split - Villa Kate was in the perfect spot not too close and not too far from the town. Had some nice touches plenty of coffee and tea and lovely body soaps. The bed was comfortable. The sleeping area was nice and clean. Communication was great, easy to deal with. Lots of information with pictures on how to get to the property. They let me in a hour early. The front door was easy to use with the code and didn’t have to carry around keys. The smell in the bathroom was so bad I ended up having to put my towel over the drain. I thought since I had been there for a week that someone would have come to clean it and change the bins as there were no products or spare bin bags left for me to do so. The shower really needs a good scrub it had a lot of built up scum. The courtyard was dirty and really was not inviting at all. There was a flashing light in front of the internet box that I had to cover as it was flashing all night. The front door glass needs a curtain or a blind as when cars came down the street in the nighttime the lights shine straight through as it’s a dead it the cars would do a U-turn, I actually thought someone had open the door a few times it was so bright.

• Magdalena (10/5): Excellent stay, which we recommend to everyone. - The location was excellent. 7 minutes walk to the very centre of old town. Lots of grocery stores and bakeries around. The contact with the owner was really fast and pleasant. We were offered a transport from and to the airport and we could store our luggage for a few hours before the departure. The apartment is equipped with a fridge and a kettle, so we could prepare breakfast ourselves. You need to buy paper plates and cutlery though, as there are none in the house, but that's an easy thing to do with many shops around. The flat was clean and cosy, warm blanket, comfy bed, and everything you need for a 3-day-long stay. We will definitely be back. :)

• Mallory (6/5): - The place was good for a one night stay that we had to book last minute. If you’re driving, the streets are very inaccessible and we were unable to get a parking spot despite the ad saying parking was included. It is a self check-in with an access code but it didn’t work when we arrived. We were trying not use data on our phones but had to in order to contact the host (they needed to reset the code but answered quickly). About a 20 minute walk to the boardwalk for restaurants.

• Judith (8/5): Great location and wonder bolthole for getting to explore Split - Room was well situated and the distance from the town is great you can walk to supper every evening easily but have a quiet night sleep. Bed is large and comfortable and the air conditioning was perfect after a long hot day walking around the sights. There was a funny smell in the bathroom, probably the drains and clearly something that the owner would have no control over. Other than that the property was spotless and very clean. Parking is tricky and not for the faint hearted.

Close to the grocery and very good bakery…Very clean and cozy apartment with comfortable spacious bed and bathroom equipped with higher quality accessories. Everything is good, met expectations…all listed facility accessories are available, additionally wet clothes/beach-towels drying rack could be provided…

The host maintained excellent contact with me both before and after check-in. The location is excellent for Split— in a quiet neighborhood, but just a very short and easy walk to the old center, the green market, a great bakery and grocery store, and the ferry port and bus terminal.

Spacious shower is really a big plus and also the easy door opening with a code. The artificial smell of some cleaning detergent wchich was very strong and stayed there for the whole time. Other thing was that we were sent up the stairs so we had to look for the appartment for some time, it would be much nicer to accompany us to the door. Other than that was fine.

Slippery floor on shower, as one of us with walking stick - very insecure. Difficult to find parking, suggest people look first in school areas nearby (ask host for directions) to avoid being caught up in mess of many cars in tight one way alleys all looking for non- existent parking spaces.

It was spacious, very comfortable large bed, good shower, massive tv & even a small terrace. lots of steps between villa & the port, but this is always the case in Split!
• German (7/5): Well located apartment, but no kitchen :( - The apartment is recently renovated and all inside is new. Worst part is it is not a full apartment as such, but just the lower floor, so it does not have a kitchen. Bedroom and bathroom only, but in a great location and very new (and clean) Just the lack of some more facilities, especially a small kitchen would make it perfect. For the rest, it was a very nice place.

Would definitely recommend & would stay again ourselves. One thing I think could be improved on is the managing host who was so lovely could give a little more info on what to do, where to go, eating places etc. I know the internet is there for all of us but I also know when I travel I like to have recommendations from the locals. The night of our arrival there was a feast in the city celebrating a special annual day & we were not told about it & sadly missed a fun traditional evening with the locals.
• Quia (10/5): Comfortable room, loved the location - Responsive host who was easy to reach on WhatsApp. We were able to drop off bags at 11am but the housekeeper was still cleaning the room at the time. Comfy bed, spacious bathroom, and the color changing LED lights were a fun bonus. You can turn it into a tiny dance party if you want! I absolutely loved the neighborhood, though. There is a cute little cafe called Konoba that is nearby that has good food at affordable prices and a good neighborhood vibe. I love that it is in a historical area so you can enjoy the architecture as you make your way around. If you have a lot of luggage beware, there are a lot of stairs to make it there.

• Marie (10/5): Nice Stay - Villa Kate is a great place to stay! It is clean, adorable and in am excellent location. Our plane was delayed for over a day making our arrival at 1:00 am. The host was very accommodating and made arrangements for us to still check in so late. We could not have chosen a better place to stay and we highly recommend Villa Kate!
