I know it is supply and demand, but the growing cost of the rooms on the weekends of high profile races at Cedar Lake Speedway are making it much more cost effective to stay in an Air BNB.

My room 225 was right above the hotel laundry facility and hence I could hear the high speed spinning of the dryers all through the night. A different room would not have this of course. Hotel staff is super friendly, good breakfast.

That is Extremely important to me. The pool & spa were clean and a great temperature. Both in working order. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Staff was great.

• Chung (10/5): - This hotel is fairly new, located in a quiet street with ample parkings. My room is spacious with a separate sitting area from the sleeping area. A tv in the sitting area and another tv in the sleeping area. The room is also equipped with microwave and refrigerator.

• Christine (8/5): - Very nice experience... i would have given it an overall 5 star raiting but per usual there is always someone who has to mess things up for everyone... lol On our last night there, i was woken at 2:30AM by very loud male voices outside in the hallway which turned into some loud banging, so it wasn't just a roll over and fall back to sleep incident... I never understand the rudeness of others... But overall a great place to stay and will definitely stay again if need be. Very quiet area. Didn't try the breakfast as we are late risers but the remnants of it lingering in the Lobby smelled good.

• Jeremy (8/5): New room, good breakfast, cheap towels. - The motel is brand new and in excellent condition. Breakfast was a solid B, with eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, breads and juice. However, the bed was made so oddly I had to practically strip to get the covers to some kind of normal. And the towels, in this otherwise fine motel, were among the cheapest, thinnest I've seen in a motel.

• Sheila (4/5): Worst hotel stay in years - I was so disappointed in this hotel. Pros: very clean, facilities in good shape, pleasant appearance, good breakfast, very friendly staff. Cons (king suite with signed): tv remote didn’t work, no tissues, ironing board broken (bolt came out while I was ironing), very loud (when it was diagnosed a quiet room. The worst, however, is that the bed was too high for me to get onto it. I’m 5’5” and the bed came up to my hip. I literally couldn’t climb up on the bed. I knew the hotel was sold out so I slept on the sofa (very uncomfortable) the first night. Actually I didn’t sleep at all. I had to leave the wedding early the next night because I was exhausted. For night two, I bought a step stool. That is pathetic. Unnecessary and dangerous. Besides, sometimes it’s nice to just sit on the edge of the bed. Impossible. I will never stay at a BW again if that’s someone’s idea of a suite design.

• Vacation32732484749 (4/5): Mediocre but expensive - Location was good for the event we were attending. Price was very high for quality of hotel. Sleep was ok even though A/C was very loud in the room. The toilet seat slide a lot when you were on it probably dur to the toilet paper holder being behind you and difficult to reach The coffee at breakfast was weak and tasteless. Food was mediocre.

Price was high at 200$ a night for a standard room but there were two huge concerts in the area so they may have been over charging for that reason.

Clean and attractive lobby, but freezing AC. Too cold. Daily service in our room was appreciated even if it was minor. One BIG problem: handicapped accessible room. Why? I would get a ticket if I parked in a handicap spot. But here I’m put in this room where the shower water floods the floor; where I can’t hang up my clothes because they hang on the floor. I did not request that room and just wonder why?

The breakfast area was well maintained Everything was really good. The only thing that we noticed is the room had an odour that was pleasant.

No tissues and didn’t replace Toilet Paper with a five day stay. When asked for supplies were given but should have been inventoried when housekeeper came by each day. One day dirty towels weren’t picked up.

Nobody told me about the door tag thingy (which is very difficult to notice unless you are looking for it) until I checked out and asked. - Front desk staff were invisible. They must have spent all their time hiding in the office behind the wall. Doesn't make for a welcoming customer service oriented environment. - My bathroom light kept flickering as if the bulb was going bad. Very annoying - There was mold in the caulking around the tub where the tile meets the tub. Surprising for such a new hotel This was my first time in Nee Richmond and everyone told me this hotel was the nicest in town. The bar must be very low.

Also, the kids didn't get yelled at for hanging out like we do in most hotels.
