- Courtney (10/5): A great choice! - We were visiting Lubbock to go to my niece‘s graduation. This is a unique hotel experience with no lobby and no staff other than in the restaurant downstairs. I liked the self check in. It was in a safe neighborhood and our room was clean and quiet. There was a great coffee shop across the street too.
- Karen (8/5): - Very limited parking, we had to circle the hotel 3 times to finally get a spot, the rooms were large and decorated very well, but the sound proofing wasn’t great so there a bit of road noise, the shower was small which was odd for such a large bathroom. Great sheets and towels and the bed was very comfortable, the restaurant in foyer had really great food. There is no contact with anyone to check in or out, it’s all don’t via your phone. The ⭐️⭐️⭐️ for service was because there wasn’t really anyone to rate, check in was easy as was check out but if you have an issue there isn’t anyone to speak to except via text.

- VIMARIE (10/5): A hidden gem - It’s a nice hotel and they thought of everything! My only complaint is that the lobby code wasn’t working and this hotel has no front desk.
- Scott (8/5): - Construction going on in the room directly above us. Room didn't feel clean- the floor was sticky and there was an empty water-bottle under the desk. Shower was dirty (moldy) and extremely weak. Great bed, and slept great after the screw-gun stopped.

- Sarah (10/5): - The staff was super accommodating after the gas explosion on the Texas Tech campus. I had to quickly find my daughter a place to stay for the night and being that she is only 18 I was worried. This will be my place to stay when I visit Lubbock in the future.
- Brad (10/5): Great Hotel - Great room and we loved the West Table restaurant. Access and parking worked well. The ONLY issue was the internet based TV service that was terrible with no local news to follow a local explosion on campus nor live sports during the Big 12 tournament. Great stay overall!!!

The location was within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

- JB (10/5): - Cute, quiet and quaint. Plenty of linens for the bathroom, and the accommodations were nice for our needs. The only issue was that we had only one chair to sit in - my husband and I both need a chair to sit in, for dressing and eating. Overall, we found the property to be adorable and unique. We enjoyed the brewery to watch the game, and the pop up vendors on Saturday. We felt very secure, and parking was easy and convenient.
- Maria (8/5): - There is no front desk to check in, you call or text the number for the place. It is mostly a condo building with a floor or two for hotel rooms. Upon arrival, our bathroom was dirty as well as our carpet. We called the number and a maid was sent up about ten minutes later to clean the bathtub appropriately. (we didn't complain about the vacuuming needed as we both had our own house shoes to use). Everything else was fine.
- Kenneth (10/5): - This was an excellent stay, once the confusion over a fully automated checkin experience was cleared up. You receive a door access code in a text and let yourself into your room. Once in, the room was terrific. A suite with separate living area and bedroom. BTW the restaurant West Table on the ground floor was excellent!

- Jason (6/5): This is really an Airbnb not a Hotel room - It was a nice enough room although over-prived for the offering. Both check-in and check-out were bizarre as they were both entirely through text. There is no staff at the "hotel". Although we were offered to "pre-check-in" online, I had no idea that they would check you in automatically (and check you out for that matter). The check-in instructions were a little confusing, as there is no one from the hotel there to greet you and you have to find your own way. The room was oddly laid out, but it was very spacious, including the bathroom. (FYI. The living area looks nothing like the image to the left.) Parking was very inconvenient, as you park on one side of the hotel, walk to the from, then walk around a hallway, all to get to an elevator that is right next to where you parked in the first place. It is nice enough, but I would not stay here again.

- Jason (8/5): - We stayed in the Windmill room. You really wouldnt know what room you were in besides the 4 pictures on the wall. Room and hotel was clean, beds were comfy. Only oomplaint was that got really warm in the room and the older windows lead to hearing all traffic all night like you were on street level. We ate at the Hotel restaurant and the service was good. Steak was far from great for the price but appetizers were good. We wanted to try coffee the two mornings but was told that it was not in the hotel and it was across the street which was a little miss leading so we traveled to J&B and had great service there. Overall, it was not a bad stay but it was not exactly what we were expecting. Not sure we would go out of the way to stay again. Still down town so you dont want to be walking around late and even in the morning, there was a skeetchy giy walking around and jumping the rails so be prepared like you would in any other downtown area. No close security around or police, not that its expected but little awkward downtown area and thinking you would walk a couple of blocks to a couple cool restaurants which there are a few really close that are worth checking out. Check-in was a breeze and they seemed great. Looks like they are trying their best but just a few issues if you want to feel safe. Would still be nice to have staff on site.

- Aaron (8/5): Nice room but needs a little attention - Check in was very easy. First thing I noticed when I walked into the room was it smelled like cigarette smoke. The room was really nice. The ottoman at the foot of the bed had a BUNCH of stains all over it. GROSS. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was nice and clean. The TV didn't work half the time. Couldnt get the tv to change channels and it would lock up completely. Then I couldn't get it to turn on at all. Maybe just dead batteries in the remote??

Once I acclimated (5 minutes) I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The third floor room was great. The facility was clean and updated. And the property had a cool vibe...

Was told there were system issues, so would receive a text instead. When trying to go up to my room, elevator would not work, so had to go up the stairs with all my luggage to 3rd floor. When got to my floor, found out that housekeeper was holding the elevator doors open with laundry bags, so guest were unable to utilize. Room was decent-furniture was a bit worn and seat at end of bed was badly stained. Parking was very close to front door of hotel which was convenient. Bed was comfortable.

- ROBYN (8/5): - The check-in process is digital which makes it very convenient. The room smelled very fresh & pleasant but was smaller than imagined. I would have appreciated access to an extra blanket. The mattress was very soft but the sheets were a poly-cotton blend and could have been better quality for the price of the room. The room is equipped with mini fridge, microwave & coffee maker. It was stocked with plenty of towels. Overall it was a nice stay and we would stay again.

- Joann (6/5): Cute..but - Very cute hotel, room was organized and seemed clean. However , I did notice the outer shower curtain hadnt been washed. Looked like urine had been splashed on it. That was the only thing that bothered me. Also, the internet connection wasnt great. And it has basic cable, wasnt able to watch NBA games that I wanted to.Other than that, I liked it.

- Jennifer (10/5): Great stay! - We stayed at the Pioneer Pocket for a Tech football game. Parking was convenient and free. Building was easy to navigate. The rooms are all located on one floor. Check in and check out was easy despite no on site front desk.. There is an onsite restaurant and brewery we heard great reviews about but did not have a chance to experience. The coffee shop was closed unfortunately. Downtown area was extremely quiet. Quite a few vacant buildings around the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. Bed was great! We would definitely stay here again.

- CHERYL (10/5): Move In Weekend. - We came up to move in our daughter. This hotel was so nice! The bed was so comfortable and plenty of room for two of us. It was quiet. We thought there was breakfast but there is nothing like that there. Be prepared to dine out.

- Travis (8/5): - Second time staying here and the room was clean and the beds are really comfortable. The service in the brewery downstairs wasn't too good. The hotel should monitor the hotel guest parking which was being used by restaurant patrons eventhough it is posted for hotel guests only. We know this because when the restaurant closed cars left. We had to find street parking until spots opened up late at night, very annoying.
