- Amir (7/5): Great place to stay for a few nights! - Nice owner and the location is good. Only 7 rooms int he hotel so the host can definitely cater to needs. The rooms are a good size with AC and a fan. Complimentary shower products and a dental kit are also available in the room. On the first night the room didn’t have hot water when showering. I also found the bed sheets to have a few blood stains on the sheet. The room walls and ceilings could do with some more decorating or painting, as it just feels like I’m staying in a concrete block with the way it’s decorated and feels undone.

- Sean (10/5): Boutique Tranquility in Colombo - Such great vibes and tranquility which is nice after the bustle of the city. The staff were excellent, we arrived at 2am to a warm welcome. The breakfast add on is a must at least one day of your stay. There is a small rooftop pool which makes for a great place to just chill. Nothing really. It isn't super luxury but for the price I think it's great value and again the relaxing vibes of the place we're really cool.

- Julia (9/5): Comfortable and convenient stay near Colombo centre and beach - We stayed here for one night after landing in Colombo and it was perfect for that. Beautiful interior, kind and helpful staff, comfortable bed, great location near the beach (which we didn’t visit but the view over the water from our room and bathroom was great). We booked a bigger room and it was very generously sized, the bathroom was beautiful and super spacious. Breakfast was also delicious! Another big plus is the proximity to the train station (about 5 min by car) where we got onto our express train to Galle. Our room could use some small repairs and there was no hot water – but this was, as we later learned, the case for most of our accommodations in Sri Lanka.

- YUI (10/5): Awesome!! - オーナーさんは、日本に25年住んでいた経験があるらしく、日本語ペラペラ！日本にいたときはホテルマンのお仕事をしたり、お店もされていたとか！ 長年の経験もあってか、とても丁寧な接客で、安心して滞在できました。(居心地がよかったので、延泊させてもらい、合計4泊滞在しました) 滞在中は、ウェルカムドリンクのキングココナッツウォーターにはじまり、しぼりたてのパッションフルーツジュースやセイロンティーまで、スリランカならではのドリンクを振る舞ってくださいました。 個人的に、食べ慣れないスリランカ料理の強めのスパイスと唐辛子で胃もたれしていて、食欲をなくしていたのですが、朝ごはんにトーストとたまごをつくってくださり、とっても美味しくいただきました！ 家族のように気にかけてくださり、たくさん助けてもらいました。またスリランカに行くときはぜひまた利用したいと思います！

De locatie is dicht bij het strand en eten en winkels - De inrichting en aankleding was heel mooi Het enige minpuntje was best veel spinnenwebben op mijn kamer. Geen spinnen zelf maar de webben wel. Dat vind ik minder fijn.

Frühstückt war eher mau für das Geld aber der Pool auf dem Dach war klasse , für Colombo wirklich eines der besten und schönsten Hotels, der nahegelegene Strand ist nicht sonderlich einladend für Touristen, sehr ärmliche Gegend, aber dieses Hotel holt einiges wieder raus , würde sagen perfekt für die erste oder letzte Nacht auf Sri Lanka! Der Chef und das Personal kann man nur hervorheben!! 10 Punkte reichen da wirklich nicht aus, haben uns geholfen bei der Abreise , und deutlich nach dem Check out noch duschen lassen im Hotel sowie eine Reinigungsfirma für kleines Geld für unsere Kleidung innerhalb weniger Minuten organisiert inklusive Abholung der Wäsche usw. Einfach ein Traum mit sauberer Wäsche zurück zu kommen. Das Frühstück war nicht wirklich ein Frühstück , mit Curry und Reis sowie Salat und wenige typische Speisen für ein Frühstück, auch im Verhältnis zu anderen Hotels auf Sri Lanka. Aber das ist auch wirklich das einzige!!

- TIDHAR (7/5): מלון ממש חמוד. - מנהל המלון ממש השתדל בכל דבר. החליף לנו לחדר גדול ותמיד היה זמין בשבילנו. ארוחת בוקר נחמדה מאוד. בריכה קטנה בגג. מיקום ממש לא קרוב לשדה. קרוב לים אבל אין הרבה מה לעשות באזור. שימו לב שאתם בחדר גדול יש הבדל ענק בין החדרים . אין מים ככ חמים אבל החדר הגדול מפנק ברמות.

De kamer was zeer ruim en de badkamer was echt super! Op het dak ligt een zwembad waar we gebruik van konden maken. Het ontbijt was echt super lekker! Mocht je ooit naar Sri Lanka gaan, is dit echt een aanbeveling Helemaal niet!

The manager and staff were super friendly and, friendly happy to help with all our requests. They made our stay a very happy and comfortable one. The breakfasts are next level. Totally delicious and beautiful works of art! Highly recommend this hotel away from the hustle and bustle of busier parts of Colombo. It was a pleasure to stay here. Sometimes coming in and out of the front door was a bit tricky.

Personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontbijt was lekker. Het hotel was ongeveer 15 min van Colombo highlights. Prima! N.v.t.

He has worked in a hotel in Tokyo for many years and speaks Japanese fluently. The breakfast is delicious, the rooms are clean, and the location is great. Overall, the value for money is excellent!
- Stephanie (9/5): Prima - sehr gerne wieder 😊 - Sehr freundliche Gastgeber - der Chef ist unaufdringlich, nett, spricht gut Englisch und sein Angestellter war super super hilfsbereit, als ich mein Handy im Tuktuk habe liegen lassen. Frühstück war auch sehr gut und täglich anders. Fahrstuhl vorhanden. Es kam etwas warmes Wasser. Alles hat mir gefallen. Eine Anregung nur: Sie könnten mal fragen, ob bei 3 Nächten mal das Handtuch gewechselt werden oder der Zimmerboden gefegt werden soll. Gemeinschaftsbad könnte öfter gesäubert werden.

- Anne Marie (9/5): Great hotel in Mount Lavinia - Kind, helpful, and accommodating owner. Tastefully decorated hotel. Very spacious and comfortable room. Very good Sri Lankan breakfast. Quiet neighborhood but only one minute walk from Mount Lavinia beach and restaurants. The roof pool (which we wouldn’t have used anyway) is very small, with drab concrete deck without chairs or umbrella. But again it wasn’t essential for us.

- Nicki (10/5): Erholsamer Abschluss der Sri Lanka Reise - Das Coza Ceylon liegt nah am Strand, der Einrichtungsstil hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer sind schön und groß, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Frühstück war super lecker, nachmittags wurde uns sogar Tee und Gebäck gebracht. Der Pool auf dem Dach war erfrischend, auch wenn er etwas kleiner war als erwartet. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt! Die Dachterrasse könnte noch etwas gemütlicher gestaltet sein.

- Pete (10/5): Sri Lankan hospitality at its finest! - We were happy with everything! Subahan and his team made us very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The beds were very comfy and the breakfast was amazing. Rooftop pool was heavenly! Nothing!
- Dean (10/5): We love Coza Ceylon - Coza Ceylon was an amazing place for a short getaway from the bustle of downtown Colombo. The owner Subahan is incredibly accommodating, with staff that work around the clock and are beyond eager to make sure your stay is as comfortable and memorable as possible. The smooth marble-esque concrete decor, ridiculously large bathroom and perfectly icy air conditioning made for a very comfortable stay in the room. To take advantage of the hot May sun, the rooftop pool was delightful, almost a private oasis to watch the Colombo skyline during the afternoon. To add to the experience, the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the beachfront restaurants and bars, with the best of Mt Livinia at your fingertips. Couldn't rate this more highly.
- Sarah (7/5): An very lovely space filled with character - The photos dont do the entrance hall justice and the rooms and bathrooms are very spacious. We were there for two night and our room was never cleaned, nor restocked with water.
- Alan (10/5): Recommended, but the fridge issue needs addressing. - I chose this hotel ahead of arriving in Colombo as I wanted somewhere outside of the city to relax. The hotel itself is located about 200m from the nearest beach which gave me the opportunity to enjoy the sea breeze as it was incredibly hot. The hotel itself was an unexpected treat, it boutique without being pretentious. The room was big, the bathroom colossal but normal standards with a large bath sunk into a raised area and separate walk in shower. As for the bed...it was so comfortable, a real treat and I slept great. Breakfast was nice, with the host making a great effort to provide a hearty breakfast. If you're planning on staying in Mount Lavinia give it a go. Recommended. Communication issues with junior staff. Lack of information on arrival. I wasn't aware there was a roof top pool until I was leaving. The fridge. It had a mould issue around the seal and was very musty. This was a major bugbear as I have meds I need to store in a cool environment. No coffee available in the room, only tea. I need my coffee, it is however available in reception if requested.

- Danika (10/5): Sensational service - The staff were warm and welcoming. They greeted me with an amazing fresh juice and even brought me up fresh tea when I was in my room in the afternoon. They supplied me with insect repellant and an extra sheet when I complained of the mosquitos. The breakfast was sensational, and was catered perfectly to my dietary requirements. The room was really good value (plus clean and spacious). Rooftop was beautiful to relax on. The beach unfortunately was not swimmable :(
- alessia (10/5): Mount Lavinia beach! - Hotel in ottima posizione, vicino la spiaggia ed un minuto da supermercato,farmacia e bar. Stanza enorme arredata in modo particolarmente bella, buon kit cortesia,lletto grande e comodo ed il tutto molto pulito. Punto forte la colazione ,locale e servita,ogni giorno diversa e in fine sempre un bel piatto di frutta fresca.Un grazie a tutto lo staff sempre attento e gentile ed infine al proprietario che ci ha organizzato dei bei giri per visitare Colombo. Lo consiglio come alternativa al caos di Colombo.

- Ann (8/5): Ruime moderne kamers dichtbij strand en stad - De ruime en moderne kamer. Wij verbleven hier slechts 1 nacht en moesten ‘‘s morgens vroeg vertrekken naar de vlieghaven. Dus van het ontbijt en ligging kunnen we niets vertellen. We zijn ‘‘s avonds op het strand iets gaan eten.

- Marta (9/5): Un oasis de pau enmig del bullici de Colombo - Un lloc encantador enmig del bullici de Colombo, un espai per relaxar-se i evadir-se. Llits molt còmodes, habitacions tranquil.les i decoració molt cuidada. Hagués sigut útil que algun dels empleats hagués tingut l'applicació Pickme per poder demanar un taxi el primer dia al matí, anava amb pressa i el meu telèfon havia mort.

По-перше, неймовірно гарне фоє/ рецепшин, де тебе зустрічають холодним напоєм, і пропонують зачекати (я приїхала на 2 години раніше заселення, але мені допомогли і заселили раніше). Номер чудовий, чисто, затишно! По-друге, працював кондиціонер, був чайник, чай, вода! Дуже гарне розташування, до пляжу хвилини 3 від сили, до магазинів, пекарень, кавʼярень й ресторанів +/- так само. На даху є басейн! Чудовий вид, чисто, тепла вода! Ідеальне місце! В душі є гель, мило, шампунь і кондиціонер. Також є полотенця, все, що власне й необхідно! Окремо хочу виділити персонал, дуже добрі, ввічливі люди! Дуже тепло до мене поставилися! Я відчувала себе ніби вдома. Мені для роботи потрібен був вайфай, мені допомогли, порадили, де краще від працює. Неймовірне місце, де вам допоможуть й зроблять все для вашого комфорту. Приїду ще сюди і не раз!

- Lady Jane bailey (8/5): - Great staff. Swimming pool rather small and no sunshades (although the manager to explain they were on order). Short walk to the beach, albeit over a railway line! Bed was really comfy, fridge in room which is always a really nice addition. Would have liked a bit more choice at breakfast, rather than just a Sri Lankan breakfast. However, we were in Sri Lanka, so not really a criticism - just after 3 weeks in Sri Lanka, we were curried out!

- Nadezhda (10/5): - Очень уютно. Чисто. Есть все необходимое (шампунь, бальзам, гель для душа, крем, зубные щетки - такого не встречали ни в одном отеле на Шри-Ланке). Побывав в 7(семи) 3-х звездочных отелях по всей Шри-Ланке - это самый лучший отель, в который хочется вернуться. Рядом пляж, магазины. Вкусные завтраки, брали также обед тут же. На пляже рестораны с вкусной местной едой. Делаю вывод про еду, побывав по всей Шри-Ланке, где не везде вкусно и съедобно для иностранцев.

- David (9/5): Great for a short stay in Colombo! - Very comfortable stay to explore this side of Colombo. Staff was super accommodating as we needed to stay an extra night due to flights being rescheduled. They also swiftly took care of our laundry. Highly recommend. They even have a small pool on the roof if you want to take a quick dip.
- Sendlhofer (10/5): Stylische Ruheoase am Mount Lavinia Beach - Meine Tochter, Enkelin und ich wurden im Coza Ceylon sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Frühstück war unglaublich lecker, frisch zubereitet und traditionell. Ein sehr leckerer Obstteller ergänzte das Frühstück jeden Morgen. In unserem gemütlichen Zimmer mit dem großen schönem Bad haben wir uns vom Trubel in Colombo gut entspannen können. Im kleinen Pool auf der Dachterrasse konnten wir die Sonne und den Ausblick über Colombo genießen. Wir haben uns im Coza Ceylon so wohl gefühlt, dass wir auf dem Rückweg unserer Tour noch einmal zwei Tage gebucht haben. Danke, es war ganz toll :)
