• Mroz (10/5): - A very friendly and kind owner who helped us organise everything we needed: a good guide for the Valley of the Kings, a boat to the other side of the Nile, a transfer to Marsa Alam, and even a lovely farewell gift of dried hibiscus. The hotel is located by the Nile, close to the ferry/boat crossing. The view from the room was beautiful — sunrise over the Nile was unforgettable. There is also a great terrace with a view of the river. Breakfast was tasty, with fresh natural juices. The room was spacious, with air conditioning, comfortable beds, and everything was clean. A very pleasant stay and a place we can definitely recommend.

• Wassim (9/5): Tout était très bien - Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Le petit déjeuner était vraiment excellent, copieux et agréable avec une superbe vue sur le Nil. L’emplacement sur la rive ouest est parfait : ambiance beaucoup plus calme et authentique tout en restant très pratique. La vue sur le Nil est magnifique, surtout au coucher du soleil, et il est très facile de rejoindre la rive est grâce aux fenouques et ferries accessibles en quelques minutes à pied. C’était idéal pour visiter Louxor tout en profitant du calme de la West Bank. Le personnel était très accueillant et toujours prêt à aider surtout ashraf qui nous a accompagné durant tout notre séjour. Une très belle adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter.

• Claverie (8/5): Un bon hôtel au calme et une équipe aux petits soins - Le lieu était au calme, loin du centre ville mais facilement accessible en ferry qui coûte 25 LE pour un trajet. Attention il y a plein d’embarcadère mais le ferry officiel se trouve à peu près en face du Nile Hotel et s’arrête devant le Louxor Museum et pas celui juste devant l’hôtel. Sinon une traversée privée coûte 100 LE par bateau (on était 4 pers) et s’arrête juste au pied du temple de louxor. Le petit-déjeuner était généreux et très bon. Quand on devait partir le matin, Aschraf nous prépare toujours un sac de petit déjeuner à emporter. Le guide qu’il nous a trouvé, Wael, était excellent et avait de très bonne connaissance. Toute l’équipe était aux petits soins, ce qui nous met dans une ambiance familiale très appréciable. A 5 min de l’hôtel, il est possible d’emprunter la piscine (propre et d’une taille correcte) d’un autre hôtel pour 100 LE par pers. Les visites étaient extrêmement cher comparé aux offres proposés par d’autres guesthouse. Bien que ce soit de la bonne qualité, mais les autres aussi proposent la même qualité pour 2 fois voir 3 fois moins cher. On l’avait réservé de France donc on ne l’a pas forcément réalisé sur le coup. Mais avec le recul, on s’est dit que le prix était quand même exagéré par rapport au coût de la vie sur place. Néanmoins, ils sont flexibles face à nos divers changements, ce qui est appréciable. Leur restaurant était également cher.

Zwei Tage Fahrer organisiert, der uns viel gezeigt hat von Assuan über Luxor bis zur Küste. Guter Fahrer, gutes Auto. Hakelige Organisation: Fragen häufig nicht beantwortet. Versuch, bei der Tour nachträglich noch Geld heraus zu schinden. Außerdem sozial bedenkliches Verhalten: ich würde deshalb keine Tour mehr dort buchen. Aber das Hotel war gut.

• Charlotte (9/5): Super choix d'hôtel ! A réserver les yeux fermés ! - Super hôtel sur la rive Ouest de Luxor. Vue sur le Nil inoubliable. Les chambres sont grandes et propres, avec pour certaines une petite terrasse. L'accueil est impeccable et hyper sympa. L'hôtel propose quelques excursions à des tarifs raisonnables et la prise en charge (les montgolfières nous concernant) est parfaite. Petit dej super. La rive ouest est calme et il y a de nombreux restos à quelques pas de l'hôtel. Arrivée de l'embarcadère public à 5 mn à pied. Super adresse, on recommande sans réserve ! Note pour les personnes à mobilité réduite, il y a des escaliers et pas d'ascenseur. Cela ne nous a pas posé problème, mais ce pourrait être gênant pour certains voyageurs.

• Christina (8/5): A value for money choice on the west side - The location is good close to the Nile and main attractions. The room was spacious and clean and the owners made us feel really welcomed. Food and breakfast were very tasty and there was wide variety of options. There was an issue with WiFi during our stay, but after a while it was fixed. The room we booked had a weird smell of humidity, but the owner was willing without any thought to provide us another room with view.

Momen & his father were very kind in helping arrange a taxi for me & gave me tips and guided me on Luxor/ Karnak temple. They prepared a great dinner both nights for me. Rett utenfor er det ein liten butikk der du kan handle småting. Kjapp tilgang til sentrum via båt eller ferge (anbefaler å ta fergen, kun £ 20 per pers). Personalet var kjempehyggelige og hjalp til med alt vi trengte. Vi har ingenting å utsette med hotellet.

Un ringraziamento particolare al proprietario della struttura che ci ha fatto sentire a casa, ci ha organizzato il trasferimento da Marsa Alam a Luxor, oltre che ai trasferimento per vedere Karnak e la valle dei Re e delle Regine dall'alto sulla mongolfiera. Abbiamo anche cenato presso la struttura e tutto è stato perfetto!!! Grazie Niente

No te limpian la habitacion y solo hay una toalla para cada uno, la cual tampoco te la cambian.asi q estas toda la estancia con la misma toalla independientemente de los dias q pases.con lo cual al final las toallas estaban negras y malolientes.

• Aravind (10/5): Nice stay!! - I had a good stay here. The owner and the manager, Ashraf, were very helpful throughout. They arranged a smooth and reasonably priced pickup from the train station, which made the arrival easy. When I found the room a bit warm, Ashraf was quick to offer several alternatives and let me choose the one I was most comfortable with. The room had a great view of the Nile, which was a nice bonus. They were also kind enough to allow me a very late checkout, which I really appreciated. Wi-Fi connection could be more reliable. I also found the food a bit on the expensive side for what was offered.

• Michael (10/5): Great Stay - Great Stay in Luxor, honestly for being in Egypt, its pretty decent especially; A/C, comfy bed, refrigerator, balcony; its not bad. Shower, sink and toilet area is decent but leaks at times (the seal in the shower area and door does not completely closed) however it does function and it doesn’t take away from you using the bathroom. Great Service (family owned) so you can ask them anything and they will provide to you! Extra toilet paper and shower shampoo gels you’ll have to ask for. Breakfast was good and filling. The area on the West Bank is good but if you need to visit the East Bank (Karnak and/or Luxor Temple), you’ll need to take a ferry (take the people’s ferry for 40 egy pounds roundtrip - Google maps will help you). Otherwise, you’ll get the typically hassling in Egypt but somewhat less than Giza or Cairo. There is a small convenience shop down at the entrance but they price gouge a little bit like 15 egyp for large water bottle but the shops on the main road going into the West Bank area, 5 egyp so look around for sure. Good location for restaurants very very nearby, 2 mins from the hotel walking (again see google maps reviews). Otherwise, good stay in the West Bank

• Alfred (8/5): Unforgettable stay on the Nile - Great location. Spring “Palace” is located across the Nile from the Winter Palace but has a better view. The staff is friendly and attentive and glad to share local knowledge. The manager set me up with a day-long felucca-sail on the Nile - an experience so wonderful I will never forget it. The chef, Mohamed catered a great trip. Highly recommend this place. Air conditioning could use a boost.
• Raghav (6/5): Pleasant stay in Luxor with good breakfast and spacious apartments - Staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The apartment was large and spacious and the beds were clean and comfortable. They served a good breakfast with excellent fresh juices. View of the Nile and the East side was great from the balcony and terrace. The Nile ferry terminal was right opposite the hotel so it was easy to go back and forth. They had an issue with the apartment we had booked, so we had to move. Although a bit disruptive, they helped with our bags and made it easier for us. The apartment was spacious but could've been cleaner with some more kitchen and bath amenities. The area around the apartment did not feel very safe but once inside the property, it felt tucked away.
• Rui (10/5): Comfortable and budget hotel - The hotel is on the west bank and it is very convenient to take a ferry to the east bank. There is a small supermarket for water or drinks and some local restaurants downstairs of the hotel. The hotel manager is nice and offered help for driver and group tour around Luxor
• Mr.greens (10/5): this is the place you are looking for. - everything! i visited and lived in over 30 countries scattered in 4 continents and i assure they are absolutely gorgeous, very kind and caring. furthermore the rooms are modern, comfortable, spacious and definitely clean. i guarantee you will be happy to spend your nights here. the double terrace has a great view by the way. nothing, everything was beyond expectations compared to all other places i stayed in during my trip in egypt (i am at the end of the trip from abu simbel to cairo).
• Adolphus (8/5): Very good - Helpful staff. The Manager Ashrf was always available and willing to help. Had a fun evening with the hotel owner who treated us to coffee and tea at the Roof top, where we had a clear, unobstructed view of the sail boats on the Nile. Our stay was memorable as the hotel is strategically located on the banks of the River Nile.

He consistently went out of his way to help us. This is a budget hotel so as long as you are aware of this you will be fine. Nothing - it was good value for money
