• Margie (7/5): ArArAt stay - It is very clean. The area where it is located is vibrant with lots of reastaurants grocery stores and an atm just as you come out on the street. Maybe it was that I stayed in several hostels lately, but I would not call this a hostel. The general space has a small table and 4 bar stools to sit and eat. No relaxation space. The place has 6 rooms. The cooking facilities consist of a microwave and kettle. There is a stove, but you are not allowed to use it. No washing machine or dryer or a place to handwash and also no space to hang clothes.

Všude v interieru jsou otravné nápisy a poučky (např kterým směrem zatáhnout závěs v koupelně, jakym směrem strikat desinfekci do wc apod). Nemožnost si uvařit (plotýnka na vaření tu je, ale je oblepena páskou a dalšími nápisy). Každý pohyb na chodbě je slyšet

Der Föhn hätte etwas besser sein können :D

• Edoardo Billi (4/5): Struttura situata in una posizione centrale e in una zona piacevole piena di locali e negozi - Posizione centrale, camera silenziosa e con serranda. Struttura con cattivo odore nell'ingresso, nella quale ti viene chiesto di pulire il bagno dopo averlo utilizzato (follia!). Camere piccole e senza alcun comfort. In più, ma non capisco perché, la sera dopo una certa ora staccano il wi-fi, è successo per tutte e due le sere che ho soggiornato. Prezzo alto per quello che offre.

The room is a little small and that my room that is not facing the street has not the possibility to get fresh air from outside.

• Ian (10/5): Exceptional - Great comfortable room to in a very clean setting. Shared bathrooms were always spotless. Great place to unwind and relax after completing the Camino. Host was very friendly and accommodating.
• Sandie (7/5): Overall a mostly comfortable stay in the heart of Santiago. - The location was good to the bus terminal and the old city. The hostel is clean and comfortable with two big bathrooms. The kitchen was comfortable with a fridge and microwave. The owner was helpful and polite. There is a laundromat nearby and lots of nice restaurants. Easy walk to the cathedral and old city attractions. The noise over the weekend from two restaurants close by went on till 1.30am. On the Monday there was load banging, what sounded like recycling bottles were being dumped into metal bins. It went on for hours. So we did not sleep much even with the windows closed and wearing earplugs. If you aren’t a light sleeper it will be a great stay.
• Shona (10/5): excellent central location - exceptional accommodation. we stayed in a private double room with private shower. the room was very spacious and comfortable bed. the shower is small but you have access to the shared bathroom/showers if you aren't able to shower comfortably - I'm 6ft and had no problems. All rooms were spotlessly clean and are cleaned every 2 days during your stay. despite being on a main shopping street, we had no issue with noise. Location wise you'd struggle to do better, everything 10 min walk Gagik is a very very welcoming host. na

So many rules and notices everywhere. While none of these were unreasonable, the extent to which they are posted everywhere can make you feel uncomfortable.
• Sood (4/5): It was an experiment for me to stay in a hostel, its an older building and plumbing , electrical not upgraded, bathrooms - Location. It’s very small 5 rooms second story flat converted into hostel, VERY SMALL 8x 8 or bit more lobby area /kitchen access to hot kettle and microwave. It felt quite daunting as you don’t see or hear anyone and too many signs to keep quite seemed like an imprisoned once you in ur room with very cheap furnishing uncomfortable bed with worn out linen. Owned and operated by a young fellow who is very nice but I wish he can afford to spend extra to get new furnishings to today standard, this place will take you back in the cheap 80s , look . Pics are all photoshopped . May be good for short stay only because of the location. Two bathrooms shared with all but wasn’t an issue, owner kept everything very clean. Due to older building plumbing pipes are rusted and clogged , water pressure was very poor in both sinks, signs posted to clean up afterwards.

• Kornelia (9/5): Positive impression - I was surprised as I had an imagination of hostels being poor quality. The place was opposite. Clean, quiet inside, good communication with a host. Bright white bedding and towels. Good standard of shared bathroom. Own sink in room. Location brilliant but the cost is very loud night life on the street. Disturbing sleeping.
• Meijiuan (9/5): Good location and clean - Big Room and very clean Downstairs (street) very noisy whole night, for those people not easy sleep good may have consider this problem. The table should be fix stable, quite dangerous, cannot rest your hand on the table.
• Paul (1/5): Avoid this place like the plague! - Conveniently located for the university, the old city and the railway station. If you're paying €10 a night in a youth hostel you expect to share the bathroom and see notices all over the place telling you to do the cleaning. For €85 I've stayed elsewhere with my partner in nice hotel rooms with private bathrooms and nice breakfasts, but apparently it's standard not to get breakfast in Spanish hotels. If I'm staying for 10 nights at that rate, I expect a modicum of respect. I am over 60 and need a private toilet. The listing says that "The double room features a seating area, a dining area, as well as a private bathroom boasting a shower and a bidet." Whilst I got a private shower, I had to share the toilet, which I found very difficult. But the killer was at the end of my stay, when the manager made an unauthorised charge of €80 to my bank card for "damaging his table" by spilling coffee. In fact you can see from the listing that this "table" is a piece of plastic-covered chipboard sitting on a pair of trestles -- it's not fixed, so of course coffee will get split. When you arrive, the manager offers you a 5% discount if you cancel the contract with Booking.com and pay him directly. (I did not do this.)

Well, when someone ate my breakfast what I had in the fridge . Was not a nice surprise at 4:30 a.m. while waiting for a taxi. I hope karma will find the thief.

Wi fine worked No heating on cold rainy days....was offered the use of a hairdryer to dry my socks. No visible daylight....felt like a clean large prison cell.....no tv....which I think you do get in prison !! Expensive for what I got. A KITCHEN-INSPIRED print material as a HEADBOARD COVER on bed !!!!??????
