- Lisa (7/5): Location for these apartments is fantastic and quiet rooms with a beautiful pool. Pricey for what it is considering ther - Location was great for shopping at Melbourne Central, lovely pool and quiet rooms. There were grubby marks on doors, burn hole in couch cushion, and texta scribble and children’s stickers on ottoman. The internet was poor and had difficulty using the television/movies.
- Bianca (5/5): Nice location, close to Melbourne Central. But probably won’t stay again - The location was great, just at the edge of the CBD, but very close to Melbourne Central station. The facilities inside the apartments were modern, but did not match the pictures on the website. The pictures didn’t match what the apartment looked like (layout, very different kitchen, etc). I understand that depending on where in the building the apartment is, that it would look a bit different. Room didn’t feel very safe, largely because it was a hard key and fob, so you had to lock the door when you enter, and when you leave. But there was no way of knowing if it actually locked? The TV/Foxtel in my room didn’t work. I paid extra in the lobby to check in at 1pm, because my original room wouldn’t be ready until 2pm. But the room didn’t feel worth it

( vielen Dank an die junge Dame an der Rezeption, sie sind sehr nett und freundlich) Das Apartment war fantastisch, mit einem grandiosen Blick über die Stadt und die Skyline von melbourne. Sehr hochwertig ausgestattet. Im Haus selbst gibt es auch noch einen fantastischen Pool und Fitnessraum. Alles sehr gepflegt und modern. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

- Noyo (6/5): - The location was great! We were given 34th floor and I came to know on the second day that it was a new room ! And due to which the room phones and internet was not working … later Mr Om from reception provided us the modem which was helpful but the internet wasn’t working … imagine few days of your vacation without internet ( the only staff I found cooperative was Mr Om ) . We had a confirmed booking for 16 th April Thursday and as per our booking we reached the hotel late evening as we had arrived the city late . The check in staff at that hour ( around 11 pm ) someone who was wearing a brooch with initial Alphabet A and was wearing specs , he was not able to explain the hotel policy properly and apparently didn’t appear to be courteous enough for hospitality business that too in the front desk !! As it was taking time for us to get the name updated in the system he even asked me to check his computer on my own if I didn’t believe him and to my horror he politely asked us to look for another option at that hour !!! This is a serious suggestion for Avani properties to please take into consideration of our feedback and experience and take a proper action against the staff . I literally cancelled the booking and rebooked the property again as I had no choice to go and search another hotel at that late night hour with a child . Please have a look at the cctv footage for confirmation.

We especially loved the beautiful heated swimming pool! A huge thank you to the friendly and professional staff—a special shout-out to Shar for the exceptional service. - Lisa (3/5): Overall, it did not feel like a family-friendly accommodation. - I love this property for its great location, so close to the city and everything you need. The pool was great and a nice highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, the arrival experience was very disappointing. There was nowhere to safely stop and unload luggage, and we arrived in pouring rain with children. We asked if we could briefly access the car park to unload but were denied. After asking again while standing in the rain, we were told we could use the loading bay, though it was made clear this was an inconvenience and an absurd request. The cleanliness was very poor, which was very disappointing. The rug had turned brown from dirt, and the lounge had visible stains and felt unclean. The showers also appeared poorly maintained, with grime in the corners, giving the impression they hadn’t been properly cleaned. Overall, the property needs significant maintenance and upkeep.

- Singh (3/5): Privacy Issues - labelled a hotel - The apartment was way more than a hotel should have been and seemed like private residences. 24/7 reception, a strange smell appeared, my shirt got stuck in the washer, full sized integrated fridge with cutlery. A safe that could have been tampered with as money was changed to different notes, my personal belongings could have been looked through, and spied on as the key should have been a RFC key to see open and closes but was a regular turn key - in the cupboard was a strange looking set up that looks illegal, and was reported to staff - strangely the security deposit was only $1 the two previous hotels were $100 & $50 and processed as sales which I'm yet to receive the funds :( All very worrying signs.

Clean and comfortable rooms. The wifi wasn't up to scratch - we needed wifi for my husband to work and was a reason we stayed here. We couldn't connect however they provided a dongle. Also the Foxtel setup is a bit outdated - would rather streaming abilities. But can't because no wifi. The spa was out of order which was also another reason we booked so that was a bit disappointing.
- rachel (2/5): Did not meet our expectations and would easily find something more worthwhile for the money spent - The bed was comfortable and the location was ideal There was a constant beeping during our whole stay, one of the air conditioners didn’t work, one of the windows didn’t open, had to be careful flushing toilet as the button would fall out, the front desk staff wouldn’t let us pay with our apple wallet as the digital card did not show our name, and wouldn’t let another guest use their physical card because the booking wasn’t under their name.
- Rosanna (6/5): - Location was good and good value for money Staff tried to sell us 2 bedroom apartment for $120 as we wanted to check in early then said if we checked in early we would have to pay an extra $30 per hour (don't see this listed anywhere and no other hotel has ever said this before) after we refused, got a phone call 45mins later saying we can check in now. Feel like it was a big lue to get us to spend more so not happy and not looking after your guests.

- Matthew (5/5): - Very central location. Friendly staff. Split system air-conditioning in bedrooms and lounge too noisy to sleep. Rooms are little cramped and tv too hard to cast from your device.

- Skye (10/5): Overall, great accom and would stay again. - Location was great - easily accessible from nearby train stations. Very clean facilities and staff were friendly. Cannot fault AVANI. The lifts took a while. The facilities shut at 10pm. Parking is expensive.
