Watching sunrise and being able to experience the dawn chorus from the comfort of our room and balcony overlooking the swimming pool, sealed the deal for us. Highly recommend Thanyawintra.

Het hotel ligt op de hoek van een druk kruispunt. Wij vonden het geen probleem, maar zou een probleem voor mensen kunnen zijn.

• Shimi (8/5): - המקום מעוצב בסגנון עתיק עם ריהוט עץ מגולף. יש ג'קוזי בחדר הרחצה שזה נהדר. קרוב יחסית לעיר העתיקה בהליכה רגלית. הצוות לא נמצא אחרי עשר בלילה אם אתם מגיעים אחרי צריך להודיע. יש בריכה עם חדרים שיוצאים אליה , לא השתמשתי. מי שמעשן , מותר רק באיזור הבריכה , כדאי להמרוח תרסיס נגד יתושים.

• MikiFlorin (10/5): - Hotelul este poziționat asa cum se explică arata ca în fotografii. Vi s a vis este o cafenea foarte bună unde poți lua mic dejun bun și lângă este și o spălătorie de rufe. Pozele sunt reale. Un pic departe de centru. Prosoapele și pilota au mirosit foarte urât în prima seara. Am făcut plângere la recepție și s-a rezolvat. Am avut probleme cu un alt oaspete de lângă camera alăturată care a făcut zgomot mare și a ieșit pe hol cu scandal și a lovit tare ușa de câteva ori.

La literie est confortable.

Excellent location. No breakfast available but plenty nearby so not a problem. The only drawback was the club next door at night, it was noisy. The staff were very apologetic and gave us ear plugs.

• Fu (9/5): Overall it’s a pleasant stay. Recommend if you are tired of staying in a normal / modern hotel. - Staff always smile and is helpful. Lanna style hotel is very unique and jacuzzi works as expected. They also provide bottle water and new toilet paper everyday even when they don’t clean the room because we hang the do not disturb sign. Sometimes we hear the sounds of tuk tuk during night. Also, it’s a bit of walk if you plan to visit the central or west side of the old city.

• Elżbieta (10/5): Perfekcyjnie - Świetny hotel – zdecydowanie polecam! Pobyt był naprawdę bardzo udany. Obsługa niezwykle miła, pomocna i zawsze uśmiechnięta. Ogromnym plusem jest mega wygodne łóżko – po całym dniu zwiedzania spało się rewelacyjnie. Pokój był codziennie sprzątany, a ręczniki regularnie wymieniane, co bardzo podnosi komfort pobytu. Dodatkowym atutem była wanna z hydromasażem – idealna na relaks po długich spacerach po Chiang Mai. Zdecydowanie miejsce, do którego chętnie bym wróciła.

• Steve (10/5): Thanyawintra Boutique and Spa, an excellent choice. - The location was great, our room looked out to the Si Phum corner ruins of the old wall and the moat. The room and hotel decor was very nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall an enjoyable 3 nights, we will definitely stay again. We were happy with everything.

The rooms are excellent and it was very convenient to walk or get a scooter to everywhere that we planned on visiting during our stay. The pool was an added bonus. There is a music venue next door that you can hear bands playing live from the rooms in the evening. Thankfully they didn't play too late, but could be an issue if you were trying to get an early night.

• HJam (9/5): Great value and comfortable place to enjoy your stay - Very large sized room with very useful and practical amenities. Comfortable large bed, large fridge. Bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and a shower with good hot water anytime of the day. Large screen TV with smart apps to watch streaming channels. Very quiet location as our room was on the 4th floor and overlooking the greenery and very nice. The room was cleaned everyday and drinking water bottles replenished. Good location with plenty of breakfast and coffee places within walking distance if required. As there was the canal and lots of trees behind there were a few mosquitos spotted but this is common in this part of the world so not a fault of the hotel. Maybe like a plugin repellent might be helpful just in case.

• leisa (10/5): Beautiful hotel in beautiful Chang Mai. 5* - Beautiful! Staff wonderful Location great Hotel superb. So pretty and calming. Rooms incredible and 1 min walk to old quarter. Really loved it here. No breakfast option but enough places open to eat, forest fern to as a favourite and a 15 min walk from hotel through the lovely old quarter. Pool small and shaded most of day but not an issue. Laundry taken care of, trips organised. The elephant sanctuary and white water rafting was great! Lots of temples on the street to visit to gang your own lanterns. It’s a magical place and we will return to Chang mai and this beautiful little place.

The swimming pool was nice but pretty much useless in this season: it gets some sun only around midday and at night is definitely cold to use it. Anyway, enough to do around the city :) Also, will never understand why if there's a balcony in the room they don't let you smoke. It's a pity, I would have enjoyed it more
