• Valerie (8/5): We loved staying and had a fun holiday discovering the island. We will be back - It was close to the beach front and was clean and tidy. Lizy who looked after us was terrific and answered our questions in a flash. It was tired and needs to be updated.

• Wardie1999 (10/5): Location on the beach, walking distance to restaurants - Our host met us at the property with the keys. We phoned her when we were a few minutes away, no waiting time, she was there and even helped us carry our bags :) Nothing. Great location, clean good value.

• Javiera (10/5): Amazing place to stay. - Amazing location in front of Horseshoe Bay Beach that was our favorite from the island, where you can see every day a beautiful sunset. Just 100m from the bus stop, a lot of restaurants and coffeehouses in the same street. The place was beautiful, perfectly clean, it was like a house with plenty of space, with a second floor and everything, we loved it! It was even better that what you can see in the pictures. Liz was really helpful all the time and she was so nice. It was an amazing experience, I definitely would back. Nothing.

The pool is great, the area is quiet and cute shops around. And the jellyfish proof net on the beach is really cool close option to swim. We loved our stay there.

• Michael (10/5): Great apartment in a great location with superb staff. - Large two bedroom, two bath apartment directly across from the beach. Well equipped kitchen and full laundry facilities. Perfect place to stay when visiting magnetic island. Liz was awesome and helped us with an early check in and late checkout and also provided helpful tips on places to see on the island. No issues to complain about.

It exceeded our expectations in terms of what was provided ie toiletries, laundry supplies, dishwashing supplies and that list goes on. The other facilities like fully equipped kitchen, shared barbecue area and a swimming pool were also excellent and made our stay super comfortable and enjoyable. Property is just across the road from an amazing beach and number of great restaurants and coffee shops are just next door. Last but not the least our host Liz was amazing, she was just a phone call away and gave us some great advice that made our stay super comfortable. Nothing

Location excellent Maybe a small welcome pack including long-life milk would have been nice. Arriving late in the evening from Melbourne this would have enabled us to make a hot drink.

Everything you needed was supplied so was an easy way to travel and holiday. Kids liked the pool, however wasn’t heated so fairly cool. The double bed was very uncomfortable. Furniture was a little tired, doona covers were dirty.

• Eszter (10/5): Just Book This!! Wonderful apartment and even more wonderful host! - This was the MOST amazing holiday apartment we have ever stayed it. Everything was spotless and super clean. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was so thoughtfully curated and lovely gestures like having some pantry staples and dishwashing liquid, laundry powder, tea towels etc made a HUGE difference. Whatever I needed, I’d find there, it was just brilliant. The host of the apartment Lizzie was the kindest soul you will ever meet. She bent over backwards to help us however she could. Her heart and soul were in these apartments and her thoughtfulness was in all those thoughtful gestures and carefully placed staples around the house. Lizzie was very knowledgeable and provided us with lots of helpful hints both before and during our stay. She accommodated our arrival and departure times and again went above and beyond in the way she thought it all through to make everyone happy. A wonderful lady and a wonderful experience on magnetic island. We loved everything. We were sad we had to leave :(

• Nicole (9/5): Superb - Sails Unit 9 was excellent , it was the perfect location for a relaxing family holiday to end the year. The unit was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for a family of 2 adults and 2 teens to spread out and enjoy. It was very clean and well equipped to cater for us. Liz was extremely helpful with anything we needed and helped ensure we had a great stay. The unit is just a blocks walk to Horseshoe Bays restaurants, cafes, pub and shops and directly across the road from the beautiful Horseshoe Bay beach front, where there is lots of water activity options. We did the Magnetic Island Jet Ski Tour and highly recommend it if you want to hire a jet ski. It provides a longer experience option, and you get a chance to learn about, see and swim in some of the less accessible bays on the island. Magnetic Island "Maggie" is amazing , the people are friendly and relaxed and the scenery, beaches and wildlife incredible. We used the Shuttle bus to get around the island and to and from the ferry, it was all very easy. We will defiantly be back !
• Matthew (8/5): Another delightful stay at our favourite spot in paradise. - We regularly visit Horseshoe Bay, and Sails has been our favourite place to stay for a long time. Great location opposite the beach, well maintained and well managed complex, the units are spacious and well appointed. Couldn't ask for better. Only one minor gripe - being close to the pool, there can be some noise on occasions. Kids just can't enjoy a pool quietly. That's life, I guess.

• Marjorie (6/5): Spacious and comfortable but issues with beds took some gloss off the stay. - Liaison with Liz (cleaner and owner's rep) was excellent Upstairs space and furnishings, TV, kitchen facilities, toilet. Downstairs bathroom, main bedroom (but see below) Liz had not been advised three people would be staying, as booked. The second bedroom was very cramped with two beds in it. The overhead light in the second bedroom was not working (Liz fixed it promptly when told) The mattress in the main bedroom is very poor. pronounced sagging to the middle.
• Vicki (6/5): We enjoyed our stay overall especially the stunning sunset, we did have a bad experience with one of the coffee shops- C - The bathroom was modern and the unit was clean and fresh. The kitchen well stocked of kitchen items, including dishwasher. Coffee was not restocked My husband and I did not sleep as the mattress in the main bedroom needs replacing urgently. This is the only fault with the unit and only reason I did not give it a higher score rating. Liz who met us was very friendly and helpful.

The upstairs lounge and dining areas were very inviting. Thanks for the wifi and access to Netflix etc. The sound on the TV was amazing. Almost couldn’t believe it was only coming from the TV. 1. The oven. Not sure if it‘s broken or perhaps it takes a really long time to heat up? After 20 minutes, we decided to use the microwave instead. 2. The main bed may also be due for a new mattress as it’s a bit sunken in the middle.
• Loma (9/5): More than happy with our time there and will happily return to no. 9. - Sails is always great but no. 9 was particularly good. Far cleaner than some of the other units I have stayed in there. It was also very quiet and although limited water views there were beautiful cool breezes.
• Kylie (8/5): Excellent location for a family holiday - The location is superb - just a walk over the road to the beach or down a block for a number of great restaurants. Well appointed unit, very clean, wi-fi access and a smart TV. Two bedrooms downstairs (1 x queen and 2 x king singles), huge bathroom with a walk in shower. Upstairs is a full laundry, second toilet, kitchen with oven, dishwasher and microwave and a large living/dining area. Generous front deck overlooking the pool. The master bed was incredibly uncomfortable. Way too soft for my liking! Overlooks the pool, so if you are after a quiet stay without squealing kids (we had a squealing kid so it was perfect for us) this unit is probably not for you.
• Katrina (9/5): Bliss - Location, stunning peaceful setting, lovely host named Liz, nice spacious well set up townhouse. Main bedroom bed had a mattress that dipped in the middle- not very supportive mattress, but nice and soft.

Dated kitchen, not enough mugs and would be nice to have additional tea towels, dish cloths and garbage bags especially when staying multiple nights.
