• Carla (7/5): - Overall the hotel is great and we really appreciated the cosmetic upgrades since our last visit a couple of years ago. Service is wonderful and the rooms are always spotless. The shower is still pretty impossible to use. There is just not enough space. Short of completely remodeling the bathroom it would be helpful to put in a removable shower wand so that you could at least better direct the water. Unfortunately the shower setup leads to a lot of water on the floor which will probably cause damage after some time.

• Marylou (6/5): - This property was in a convenient location, the size off the space was acceptable for a group of 4 people. This was a 2 bedroom with a small kitchenette and couch. The bedrooms contained tvs in each room, and no tv in the couch area. The floors in the space were dirty not mopped, which was not ideal. That said, the space and location are acceptable for a short term stay.

• Joy (6/5): - .The location was good as it was close to the beach. Since there were not many units, it was relatively quiet. The kitchenware was neither clean nor well-prepared. The bedroom door did not close properly. The shower booth was quite small, which made it inconvenient to use. The wall air conditioner was relatively loud, which might be bothersome for those sensitive to noise.

• Marie (8/5): Nice - Clean, roomy suite with comfortable beds and nice apartment sized kitchen. Not much china or silverware, however. Since we mainly ate out, this wasn’t an issue for us. The bathroom is very small with a tiny shower. Shower floor is slippery. Great location close to the beach and the Wildwood Crest boardwalk. Attendants at the front desk were very friendly, and responded promptly to all our requests. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.
• Bianca (6/5): Pleasant - Shower was way too tiny and uncomfortable shower curtain left a huge mess in the excessively small bathroom that was slippery and dangerous also trash cans in kitchen were full upon arrival. Pool are was nice grills didn’t work well and were not properly shut off in the evening as I was walking by with my husband late night we smelled gas and checked the grill immediately and turned it off then we alerted the staff
• Verified traveler (8/5): Cute, clean, simple - We had a good stay at the Buttercup Suites! The staff was attentive and the customer service was great. This was certainly a well-maintained motel-style unit and we really enjoyed staying here. It was perfect for the three days we were in town.

• Bambi (6/5): - Booked a stay over Easter Weekend in April with outside temperatures below 55 degrees. This facility has no heat. They are a summer rental- but they were open in the Spring with no indication prior to arriving in the room that the rooms were unheated.

• Paul (9/5): Clean, large, affordable property; best two bedroom suite ever. - Clean. Spacious. Very fully equipped. Plenty of amenities (soaps, lotions, etc.) and nice towels. The best place of this type we’ve ever stayed in. Convenient to the beach. On site parking. Big TVs in both bedrooms. REAL bedrooms ( last place “2nd bedroom” was a pullout in the kitchen). Great price. 1. Dead bolt does not lock from outside; keys in knob almost impossible to operate. 2. Found kitchen recycle and trash bins full and smelly ( house keeper overlooked) but rest of place spotless 3. DJ noise/music from adjoining property.

• Banus (7/5): For a 3 day/2 night stay it was perfect. Great location, and honestly the things I didn’t like about the property we - I liked the convenience of the property to the beach. I also liked that it was just the right size for all of us. One of our air conditioners was very loud, but it kept us cool so I didn’t complain. I also didn’t like that there were no extra sheets or blankets in the apartment, and the pullout sofa bed was not made up. There was also no broom or dustpan and brush to clean up sand or spills.

• Oliver (9/5): Superb - Location was excellent, facilities clean and updated, beds comfortable and the staff super friendly and helpful. Some comments were about the shower, but it was well sized for European standards, that was fine for us. The air-conditioning is blowing straight onto the beds and are the older, wall-mounted versions. The kitchen could do with a pan and maybe some bowls, it was very minimalistic - even to just fry an egg or have a yoghurt.

Condos were re-done which were very nice, except couldn’t use the stove or oven during our 4 day stay like it advertised. We brought food to cook and make and couldn’t. Oven door couldn’t open because refrigerator was up against the oven door! Also the gas on stove top too close to wall it left burn marks from prior rental. We were too afraid to use. Microwave didn’t work! What a mess. Landed up spending so much money eating out because we couldn’t utilize the kitchenette!
• Lori (8/5): Great location in the Crest, comfortably fit my family of five. Clean, updated accommodations. - Room exceeded our expectations. Looked to be newly renovated, bathroom small but clean. Able to comfortably fit my family of five. All appliances in working order, A/C units in bedrooms worked well. Good location in the crest, only 2 blocks from the beach and within walking distance to Duffer's, Brittons Bakery and the Ravioli House. Very quiet location. Would book again.

• Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - The buttercup was a wonderful choice so glad we picked here. Was exceptionally clean and the staff were so nice. Walking distance to the beach, had a nice little kitchen and plenty of room for our whole family. The bathrooms and shower are tiny.

• Lashell (10/5): Great On-Site Customer Service! - Registration Office Team Member was has exceptional customer service skills. They were personable and helpful! Like most of Wildwood's accommodations, it was dated. The place could use some new carpet and pull out couch.

• Maris (6/5): The room was very nice and clean and liked the separate bedrooms. - No breakfast provided from this Suite. As the reviews I saw before booking, the shower was a problem. Very small for even the average person like myself. Could barely soap up because the shower would constantly pour over you. The door that opens into the bathroom gave about 4 inches between the door and the wall. Hurt my hand a bit closing the door not knowing this. The oven door could not open because it was too close the refrigerator.

We asked for more toilet paper and we didn’t get it, but that was the only thing I can think of. we had a great time even though the weather didn’t cooperate.

The suite had two separate bedrooms and the beds were very comfortable. 4 pillows provided per room! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Suite had everything we needed, even a Mexican restaurant around the corner! Property is lit up at night and surveilled so we felt very safe.

• Molly (10/5): - Check in and out was easy and the manager was so friendly and welcoming. I’ve stayed a lot of places in wildwood and I was pleasantly surprised how clean our apartment was. It also felt very safe and generally very quiet around us. It’s a simple place but has what you need and it’s so nice to have a little kitchen. It’s a perfect size for 4-6 people…bedrooms were just enough, ac worked great, and even the pullout couch was comfortable for a pullout. I also thought it was a cool bonus that we had access to the hotel pool next to us. The walk to the beach was an easy block or so and lots of food options around in walking distance (Bandanas Mexican food around the corner was awesome!). The start of the boardwalk is also only a few blocks too. We would definitely stay here again.

Considering the probable age of the building, I think that great use was made of the space. The location was fantastic! Access to the beach was phenomenal, parking was a breeze considering we were able to walk to the beach quickly and easily from the property. Our parking slot was about 5 steps outside our door. Access to great dining options was quick, easy, and close (easy walking distance). What breakfast? I wasn't aware that breakfast was offered. The air conditioning units were a bit loud. The shower was tiny. The sofa bed looked stained, so we didn't use it.

• Patrick (8/5): If you need just a little more room - Very spacious more like a 2 bedroom apartment than a hotel room with two teen the extra space was great to haven the kitchenette was a nice extra. Room was very clean when we checked in ! The only down sides were a noisy window air conditioner and the parking can be slightly challenging if you have a full-size truck or SUV. Overall a great place to stay !

• Verified traveler (8/5): Very nice stay only cable TV was out 3 days - The 2 BR suites were very clean and comfortable (firm bed) and service was very good. You could tell they cared. Once the other guest got their car out of our assigned space half a day later (we were given another space on-site), we noticed some of the chairs were coming apart. Also the cable TV 'not activated' in 2 of the 2 suites and never came up for the 3 days we were there! Wifi was spotty but worked. No TV was disappointing but its Wildwood so there was plenty of other fun to be had. Overall the rooms and location and staff made it a nice stay despite the hiccups. We all had a good visit other than that.
