• Paul (1/5): Avoid this hotel - Close to the beach Pool was so dirty it had trash floating in it. I booked this hotel because it said heated pool and it was unusable . Water so dirty could not even see the steps. Room doors rotting and falling apart, hotel was not clean . One blanket in room and it was stained and sitting in dirt on shelf .i am not surprised the hotel was empty, so very disappointed. Never will book here again .complete waste of money . Couldn't even talk to staff because there was none at all.

• Gary (4/5): - Everything was in disrepair, Some of the outlets didn't work, the room was very damp, the blinds in the bath and main window didn't work at all, the entry door had to be slammed to close and the deadbolt lock didn't work.

Poor general lighting and multiple lights in rooms not working. Large bug in kitchen for 1 room and also in bathroom for the other room. No bathroom fans. Windows open in both bathrooms on arrival. A/C units loud, especially when turning on/off. 1 was not able to be moved off 60 degrees. Light in 1 fridge didn't work. Kitchenette with no can opener. No handles on any cabinet doors or drawers. No drying rack or kitchen towels/dishclothes. Other items, including coffeemakers/toasters were rusty. Open closet area with no purpose or way to use it.

The night clerk came out walked beside me to show me a parking place. He was polite and kind. I loved everything about the property. Close to the beach and boardwalk plus mini golf and the Sea Shell ice cream shop which is Amazing!

• Patricia (7/5): Unpleasantly surprised by the care given to the property - Location, small motel, friendly host— Property has been let go since our last stay there. I was surprised to find two dirty washcloths in the shower, mildew next to the bed on the wall and sandy floors. Stucco pealing off the exterior wall in the breezeway.

I don’t feel comfortable giving this rate but I have do write the truth. The tv only has few channels the cable company does not have a lot of options.

I mean there’s really nothing bad to say about the establishment. I’d definitely stay again. The price was reasonable as well. Looking forward to coming back soon. Thanks for a great time.

Shower worked well, the A/C worked well. One window didn't lock but we were able to secure it. Person at check-in and check-out was very nice.

• Ken (4/5): - The rooms were clean and decent, but definitely not what I expected based on the photos online. Our room had broken/missing blinds, and the dresser was in poor condition — one drawer had been screwed shut and another was broken and hanging off. On the positive side, the beds were clean, and the staff was generally friendly. However, the property overall felt more worn down than advertised. Parking was also a major issue. One night we returned from the boardwalk and couldn’t find any parking. After circling the building several times, I stopped at the office where an employee outside smoking became frustrated when I asked about it. He eventually directed me to park in an alley after moving a dumpster, but since it was marked “no parking,” I ended up waking up early the next morning to move my car out of fear it would be towed. If you’re just looking for a no-frills place close to the boardwalk and beach, it works. But if you want something more comfortable and truer to the photos, it may be worth spending a little extra on another hotel nearby.

• Caitlin (6/5): The room and facilities were adequate for our 1 night stay. - The location was good. It was a short walk to the beach and the boardwalk. We also enjoyed the pool. The room had separate sleeping spaces which was nice. When we arrived to the room all of the appliances were unplugged. Wasn’t a big deal to plug in lights, tv and turn on the AC, but the refrigerator being unplugged made it useless for our overnight stay. By the time it got cold we would be checking out. There didn’t appear to be enough parking spaces for the amount of rooms. Luckily we managed to get a space and didn’t need to use the car for the rest of our stay.

This location was close enough to beach but also away from the crowd......you are literally at the start of the boardwalk Across the street.... Is a cool ice cream spot..... Don't forget the coupon for that cone ..... Local tourism coupon books are heavily stocked in the entry foyer....you can BOB it....Beach On Budget.....truly gave me and my family that nostalgic Jersey Shore feel

• David (8/5): - Stayed 5 nights with family. The area around the motel is very good. 10 minute walk to the beach and the boardwalk. Parking was a bit difficult on the property even though they say they have enough spots to accommodate everyone. Housekeeping services were almost nil. You have to request for housekeeping 24 hours beforehand and even though we did, we still had no housekeeping services the day after so we had to get our own towels and make our own beds that day. Front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating which made the rest of the experience a bit more tolerable. Not the quietest either. Understandably it’s a family motel but even so we had to ask some guests to keep it down at 1 am because they were sitting outside having a mini party. Overall it’s a budget friendly option if you’re visiting wildwood but moving forward, I will try to find something else in the same area that’s a bit newer and cleaner than this motel. Would recommend if you’re on a budget but I will not be returning.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Did the job. - Motel is a bit dated, but was priced right for a quick 2 day trip to the shore. Despite a pool right outside our door, it was quiet at night. Very well lite in the courtyard/pool area, which made it a bit tough to sleep at night. Dresser drawers were completely broken and sticking out, so not functional. Blinds were broken. Room was clean, which was most important to us.

• W7115ZKlilyl (2/5): STay AWAY - I visited Amercina Safari with three other families in July 2025. I have never stayed at a motel as poorly run as this in my fifteen years of coming to Wildwood. The smell of mold and mildew practically knocked me over once I opened the door to my room. The living room area was vile. The floor was filthy, the couches were ripped, and they both had stains on the cushions. The walls had holes in them, and they were stained. All the rooms had poor to no lighting. The one bedroom had track lighting on the ceiling, but it did not work. The top sheet in the bedroom had a cigarette burn on it. The other bedroom's mattress was concaved. One of the bedroom air conditioners barely worked, and the corner of the air conditioner unit had black mold. The toilet seat had multiple chips and appeared worn. The fan by the kitchen stove was completely rusted. The outside of the room was equally horrific. The banisters were old and rusty and not attached! So, when my 80-year-old father held on going up the stairs, the whole banister swayed! Each"porch" had a table and chairs. The wicker on the chair was unraveling on most. The lobby looked like it was from 1970-dark, dingy, and smelly. This property should be knocked down

• Christina (3/5): - It was last minute for me and my kids to stay one night. They had a room the staff at the office was such a great person. The pool was nice not cold. Both the kids and I did not feel safe being at the hotel. We felt very uncomfortable so uncomfortable that my kids didn’t even wanna sleep. I don’t know if it was just the other guests that stayed or the date that we stayed but I can tell you it was a feeling of unrest staying there. It is a beautiful place but the uncomfortable feeling of being unsafe is one I can’t not shake.

Restaurants close in the vicinity. Perfect location. Not so much that I didn’t like it, it was just more outdated. I have two kids, 12-year-old girl seven-year-old boy. They didn’t care so much for the pool. There was quite a bit of hair in it which was weird, but it was OK.
