Si tienes sueño ligero, evitarlo. El agua se salía de la ducha y mojaba todo el baño. El hotel se rehusó a darme una factura. El personal poco colaborador o competente.

- Carl Felix (8/5): Ich war insgesamt sehr zufrieden und würde wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten. - Solides und komfortables Hotel in guter Lage - eine sichere Umgebung mit vielen kleinen Street-Food Restaurants und Geschäften der gehobenen Preisklasse. Da auch einige Botschaften in der näheren Umgebung sind, gilt das Stadtviertel als sehr sicher und es ist kein Problem auch alleine abends nach Dunkelheit noch ein paar Schritte zu gehen und etwas zu Abend zu essen. Das direkt angegliederte Restaurant hat ziemlich hohe Preise, ist aber auch eine gute Möglichkeit zu essen. Das Zimmer war ausreichend geräumig und hatte alles, was man braucht (Wasserkocher, kleiner Kühlschrank, Safe, Föhn im Bad, Klimaanalage, gutes W-LAN). Sehr gut fand ich, dass es jeden Tag eine Flasche Wasser gratis gab und Tee und Instant-Kaffee immer wieder aufgefüllt wurden. Das Bett und die Matratze waren bequem und ein Kleiderschrank mit ausreichend Platz war auch im Zimmer. Fluchtwege waren zugänglich und größtenteils frei von Gegenständen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend vielseitig - warm und kalt - vielleicht für Müsli-Esser etwas wenig Auswahl. Es gibt viele Zimmer zur Straße hin, und auf der Straße ist bis spät abends noch ziemlich viel Verkehr, weil die Leute bis spät dort essen, trinken und sich treffen. Es kann also sein, dass man das in diesen Zimmern (v.a. bei offenem Fenster) den Lärm hört. Ich hatte ein Zimmer nach hinten raus, was ruhig war. Die Eisdiele (Buono Gelato) 200 m links, wenn man aus dem Hotel rausgeht, hat sehr leckeres Eis! Das Hotel bietet keine Flughafentransfers an, was ich bedauerlich finde, da man sich dann selbst darum kümmern muss. Vor allem für die Abholung vom Flughafen, wenn man zum ersten Mal nach Algerien reist, wäre das sehr hilfreich. Auch für tägliche Transporte vor Ort könnte das Hotel eine Kooperation mit einem Transportunternehmen eingehen, was zum Vorteil der Hotelgäste wäre. Bei der Sauberkeit könnte noch eine Schippe draufgelegt werden - z.B. die Teppichböden besser saugen und Flecken reinigen bzw. Böden gründlicher säubern. Ich habe mich aber nicht unwohl gefühlt und es war insgesamt in Ordnung. Das Reinigungspersonal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! :-) An der Rezeption war an einigen Tagen ein ziemlich unfreundlicher Herr, der keine Lust hatte, einem zu helfen, aber es gab auch eine sehr nette Dame und andere Herren, die sehr freundlich waren und daher ist das hoffentlich nur eine Ausnahme gewesen.

- Thabo (8/5): overall good hotel - Location and value for money Electricity cut in our room at 3pm, we reported to the reception, they never sent someone to fix until after 5pm and the room was cold by then because the AC had been off for long.

À l’arrivée, le réceptionniste n’avait aucune trace de notre réservation, malgré la confirmation et le paiement via Booking le receptioniste s'est trompé de clef ,a remis une clef d'une chambre et n'a même pas accompagné la client ni lui a montre la chambre Le service de chambre n’a pas fourni les mules et le nécessaire dans la chambre. Enfin, au départ, un agent a réclamé 300 € supplémentaires, qualifiés ensuite de « malentendu ». La gestion des réservations et de la facturation doit être améliorée.

Ils m ont prélevé 457 euros pour 3 jours et je trouve cela énorme car ce n est pas un hôtel qui quand même ne valait pas cette somme.

- HAYATE (10/5): À refaire! - Séjour de 3 nuits très sympa avec ma mère. Le personnel est aux petits soins ils sont très professionnels. La chambre était jolie simple et bien décorée. Le petit déjeuner était correct. Le restaurant de l’hôtel Le Paradou franchement 10/10 on y mange très bien nous avons été servies par Farid il est tellement adorable et professionnel. Il est là pour combler toute vos demandes et fait de son mieux. Tout le personnel était merveilleux. La façade de l’hôtel est très belle. Et il y a une terrasse agréable où se poser boire un verre. L’hôtel est situé dans un quartier très animé à 5 min à pieds donc niveau calme c’est le top du top. Mes conseils : Mettez plus de lumière dans les couloirs des chambres, changez les moquettes par du parquet. Pour le petit déjeuner essayez d’ajouter des jus frais , du lien, des viennoiseries plus fraîches et la machine à café je pense qu’il faudrait investir dans un meilleur café. Je reviendrais dans cet hôtel car j’ai vraiment aimer l’ambiance et le charme qu’il dégageait. Bravo et continuez comme ça

- Houria (9/5): Very nice boutique hotel in a lively safe location with plenty of restaurants and stores. - The location is excellent, very pleasant and helpful staff, very clean hotel, nicely kept, nice breakfast. T There is nothing I did not like. Perhaps one comment on the. choice of the non stop tv in the breakfast room, change the Chanel. Cnews is a biased French TV Chanel (right wing) with controversial views. It's also very France focused. I would switch it to France 24 which has more international news. But apart from that , all was great.

Rooms don’t have facilities that are advertised (in this specific case , no iron , no mini bar, no walk in closet. Etc).Carpets need serious cleaning (stains), as well as drapery. Towels look aged. Otherwise very functional rooms.

- Darren (9/5): Algiers is definitely worth a visit! - It was a really nice hotel in the Embassy quarter of Algiers, giving it a reputation as being a very safe part of the city, making evening walks perfectly safe. There are many restaurants and cafes immediately around the hotel. The staff were really nice, spoke English, and exchanged Pounds into Dinar at the same rate as Google. The only negative is that the hotel isn’t on the metro or tram lines. However, despite the negative online comments about the taxi drivers in Algiers, we were lucky enough to meet one who took really good care of us. We hired him for 2 days to show us all of the sights of Algiers and a trip to Tipasa (including 2 lovely restaurants to sample local foods) for around £120 total. This chance encounter transformed our trip.

The decor and cleanliness is good though you might see some ants due to the weather in general but like a couple of small ants, nothing major. Breakfast timing till 10am is good for late sleepers Staff to be trained for non-french and non-arabic would be more helpful, though you have Google translate so it's not a major problem
