- MYRA (8/5): The location was not ideal but the staff and the room were fine. - The staff were great. The room was OK. Parking was a bit hit and miss
- Meg (8/5): Great location and value - Perfect location. Very convenient and great staff. Very spacious room rooms with everything that you need. The bed and the pillows were not very comfortable they were okay for a night, but they weren’t the comfiest.
- Pauline (9/5): Great. Would definitely stay again if visiting Chester. - Friendly staff. Great food. Excellent location for theatre, racecourse and exploring the city. Can be noisy during the night and first thing in the morning but that’s to be expected when in a city centre.
- Kate (8/5): - Great location, breakfast was good and value for money. Room was large. Very noisy at night and first thing in the morning from the pubs below and nearby & deliveries from 6am onwards. Didn't realise there would be no shower gel but used the hand soap.
- sharron (10/5): The hotel is ideally situated close to everything, the staff are very helpful. The bar is lovely and very reasonable oh - Location was perfect right in the middle of the city Nothing

- Juha (9/5): Suosittelen. Loistava hinta/laatu suhde. - Aamiainen oli loistava Full English breakfast. Ystävällinen henkilökunta, helppo sisäänkirjautuminen. Suosittelen. Sain opastusta paikallisista nähtävyyksistä.
- Julie (5/5): Love Chester. Sadly won’t stay here again, but had a great time nonetheless. - Location excellent. Staff attitudes. Very dismissive.
- David (10/5): - Central,and room no.5 excellent.
- Julie (10/5): Definitely visit again. - Staff friendly and helpful. . Room lovely spacious clean . Nice breakfast.
- Caroline Elsey (8/5): - Great location for city and Storyhouse. Friendly staff. Good sized room. Mattress had definitely seen better days. Springs were evident. Luckily, with just me, I could sleep on the less worn side. Bath towel was a little small for a larger lady.
- Kelli-Ann (7/5): A very average stay but a pleasant & satisfactory overall - Location was fantastic, staff were lovely and very helpful and room was spacious Decor is a little dated and bathroom could do with some modernisation. My room was quite noisy with street noise and noise coming through from the adjacent room.
- Kirsty (10/5): -
- Geoff (5/5): Very nice hotel and pleasant staff. I would stay again if the two bad things were rectified - The bed was worn out and desperately needs replacing. The bathroom was good but the shower tray was extremely slippery and dangerous.
- Fran (6/5): -
- Dee (10/5): Great stay - Lovely room and pub, great breakfast and very reasonable. All the staff where very helpful and pleasant. Nothing

- David (10/5): Quick night away for a break. Really nice place to stay and very central. - Very clean and friendly All great
- Debbie (8/5): Overall it was a fantastic stay. - Loved the location. Hotel was very clean. Staff were very attentive. On the website it stated half price for bottles of wine however when I asked the question I was told that this should not have been on the website. Furthermore the member of staff removed a sign saying half price for a bottle of wine. I think that he should have honoured this as I was a paying customer staying at the hotel.
- Lindsay (10/5): -
- Robert (6/5): We had a good trip, staff at hotel lovely but I don’t know if I would return, ok for one night . - Location fabulous, staff were really nice and welcoming. Grubby around the edges . Dirty behind bedside snd edges . Room smelt musty . Bathroom needs a good all round clean . Breakfast only ok, sausage skin hard , bacon the same. Poached egg not runny .
- Pamela (8/5): - Lovely stay at The Coach House. Food was beautifully cooked and very hot. Room was very clean but bed was hard and uncomfortable
- Jane (9/5): -
- Roy (10/5): -
- Andrew (8/5): Mixed. Good but crap shower. - Comfortable bed, top floor/less noise, room size, staff. Shower was rubbish. Very low pressure, took ages to shower.
- Mark (3/5): Comfy bed, dirty bathroom. - Location was great, and the bed was comfy. The bathroom was disgusting. There were someone else’s hairs in the bath. Stains on the walls and the underside of the toilet seat looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for weeks.
- Kathryn (5/5): Budget stay, ok for price. - Good location & big room The mattress needs replacing, can tell it’s very old. Plug socket didn’t work and bathroom in desperate need of a makeover. Hairs in the bath and shower was terrible.
- Damian (10/5): - All superb
- Price (8/5): Birthday treat for my partner - Location for shop and bars Breakfast could have been included in the price
- Jacquelyn (10/5): Fabulous stay in Chester - Perfect location, friendly staff especially Rob Head Chef who wad very helpful Nothing
- Helen (4/5): Noisy and needs updating. But room clean and comfortable. - Breakfast good We felt the property needs some updating although the room and bathroom was clean. Unfortunately the noise from the bar downstairs was so loud late into the evening we were unable to get to sleep.
- Sally (9/5): Fun, relaxing, welcoming - Location, huge room Nothing
- Lisa (7/5): Nice restaurant to eat and drink but accommodation is poor - Location was great, staff were very friendly and helpful, bar area, restaurant and food were very nice. The staircase to the rooms very scruffy, carpets filthy. Room no 5 which is supposed to be a deluxe room was of poor standard. It is a large room but dated. The bathroom needs a refurb. The grout between the floor tiles has crumbled away. It Also felt like it needed a good clean, hair in the bath, toilet rolls sat on thick dust. I’m not one to write reviews but if I had read this then I wouldn’t have booked it.
- Lisa W (7/5): Great little trip. Fab venue with lovely staff! - Great location. Very central. Only a 10 minute walk from the main train station. Staff were really lovely and helpful. There was nothing I didn't like about the property.

- Ashleigh (7/5): - Great location and comfy bed. Didn't see much of the staff as it is attached to a pub.
- Janet (9/5): Loved this hotel. In the middle of Chester x. Just bed was lively to get into but by next morning mattress was to soft a - Staff and convenience Close to everything. Bed / mattress was to soft
- Samantha (10/5): Fab stay. The young guy behind the bar (Monday night) was extremely helpful and gave great customer service. Would defin - Excellent location for exploring the city. Just £5 in a taxi from the train station. Nothing. Although I’ve never, in my entire life, had the urge to put a teabag down the toilet……until reading the slightly odd notice in the bathroom telling me not to. I then spent the rest of my stay fighting back the urge 🤣
