- Brooks (10/5): - Our host was kind and understanding, even the housekeeper was kind and always smiling, she arranged all our goodies in order.. We needed this break... The atmosphere was suttle, safe and it was easy to get around to get whatever we needed... Even our neighbour's were polite... Didn't use the jacuzzi... Too close to winter... Awesome stay... Will definitely go again... Thank you Nada... Perfect weekend getaway...

This was the worst place I have ever stayed

Although my request for earlier checkin was accepted by the establishment, it wasn't done on the day. My original room booked was still occupied by the previous tenant when I arrived and I was given another room, I would have expected to be given an upgraded room for my inconvenience.

- Nokwanda (3/5): Not comfortable. Steep at entrance is too steep, and property has 1 remote they use to open for customers so waiting tim - A heater was provided, it was a cold day. Pool dirty. Long waiting time at the gate, no remote for guests. This was very uncomfortable and unsafe, we kept on hooting at the gate and even had to call before gate gets opened, so entering and exiting property was just exhausting. Steep at the gate is also too steep. Room is advertised to have a stove and an oven, but stove and pots is actually outside. I consider this false advertising, rather advise that there is a shared stove in a common area.

The property is due to undergoing some maintenance which was needed in the kitchen. The staff working downstairs which we could hear in the upstairs area we were allocated felt invasive.

I was treated like family this made my stay in joburg very nice. I will definitely come back and would recommend any Irish person to stay there. The description of the guest house wasn’t exact as the place .
- Noeleen (8/5): Pleasant - The property has a lovely setup. The rooms are close to the pool and jacuzzi. The owner needs to switch the jacuzzi off once done. So felt bad to disturb them. They were very accommodating allowed myself and my family to enjoy the garden on Saturday which was very kind. The place is clean. It is really pleasant. Beds and pillows need serious updating. It was the second place we stayed where pillows are over used. For me that’s important in a guesthouse stay. Beds need to be of a good quality for wear and tear. We used the deluxe family room and my son battled to sleep on the small bed.

They were extremely helpful and accommodating, since our flight was very early and we required an early check in. We felt at home and had the most comfortable stay. One of the showers had low water pressure, which was the only issue.
