Guest Reviews
- Fraser (7/5): Great value - Nice and private Breakfast very basic.
Rooms sparse but comfortable.
- VALERIE (9/5): - Tout Rien
- Jakob (6/5): -

- Fitzgerald (7/5): We enjoyed our stay, but things could be better - It’s very quiet and the pool is a great asset. The bed was extremely comfortable & the staff are friendly. CED Villas has a lot of potential but misses a few basic items that should/would elevate its customers experience.
1) For AU$95/Pn either provide bottle water or a water filling station
2) Please provide a hand towel in the bathroom & hand soap
3) The rooms are small & there are limited space so install some hooks in the room so guests can hang items to keep them off the floor.
- Michel (7/5): -
- Sanilu (10/5): Pie El nido - Ļoti patīkama naktsmītne. Klusa noslēgta vide starp vietējo mājām. 10 min skūtera brauciena attālumā no El Nido centra. Vis bija jauki
- Marta (10/5): - Everything was perfect. We had the best time ever in that hotel. The person was so kind and friendly and helpful 💛 We definitely come back to this hotel. Thank you so much!
- Carlos (2/5): -
- Hayley (9/5): - Out of the way but not too far, quiet, friendly staff, comfy beds
- Mollie (7/5): Loved our stay in El Nido and CED Villas. - Really kind staff, always willing to help. They helped us booked 2 boat trips, provided breakfast outside the room each day and always kept the room clean and tidy. The location was good overall, just a little out of the way from corong corong / el nido / restaurants. However, very easy to get a tricycle and the staff help with this if you need.
- Paco (10/5): Agréable séjour, personnel très gentil, chambre propre - Accueil chaleureux .
- Esther (8/5): Heel fijn verblijf!
- Gabriela (10/5): -
- Annemarie (5/5): Een grote teleurstelling!
- Andreas (6/5): -
- Zakiyyah (7/5): Nice - The hostess was so lovely, and helpful. Her hospitality was unmatched. She helped us to arrange the island tour and the zipline. It’s also quite close to Vanilla beach. The grounds are well maintained and breakfast was good too. The villas are up a long dirt path. Very difficult with luggage. It is also quite far out so you have to get a tuk tuk into El Nido town. The room is fairly outdated but still good enough.
- Carles (8/5): -
- Daniel (8/5): - The property was very nice, with comfortable villas. The bed was extremely comfortable, the air conditioning was efficient and quiet, everything was very clean, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay—far better than in other places we stayed in Palawan. The water pressure was also excellent. The location is not ideal, as it is about 4 km from El Nido. The access is also quite poor: there is a narrow dirt road of about 150 meters leading to the villas. Entering by tricycle can be challenging due to the road being only around 1.5 meters wide, especially during rainy conditions when it becomes muddy and full of potholes. It is also inconvenient to get there by motorcycle.
Regarding breakfast, it would be nice to have options. Each day, they were providing a breakfast of their choice, which may not suit everyone’s preferences.
- christelle (1/5): Une catastrophe !!!!
- Franz Christoph (9/5): A very pleasant stay with welcoming and friendly staff. - I loved the hospitality of the staff. We felt really warm welcomed and we appreciated the help and recommendations according to the tours around El Nido.
Special Thank you to Ate Vangie for her breakfasts and pampering us ❤️ The way from the main street up to the gate is quite difficult for tricycles. Most of the times you have to walk the uneven way up.
- Guia (10/5): - Super clear!
Loved the comfortable bed but most of all the staff !
Every day they were changing our towel.
Warm shower! Brekkie included!
We rented the scooters and were happy to not be in the middle of the chaos.
- Edgar (8/5): Comfortable place to stay. Value for money -
- Giorgio (8/5): - Fantastic place in a quiet area near the main town. Too many mosquitos but the way the AC is placed really helps keeping them distant while sleeping.
- Leandro (8/5): -

- Vstephane (10/5): -
- Paul (10/5): -
- Huub (7/5): -
- OLEG (9/5): - The accommodation for our group was great. The staff did everything perfectly, we had our home cleaned every day, and it was helpful as we were a group of 7 people. The breakfast was decent, but nice and delicious, and it was different from day to day. Facilities were not fancy, but still nice and comfortable. The way to the villa from the highway is not perfect, and you should rent a bike for a comfortable travel.
- Georgia (9/5): Really kind staff and lovely clean stay - Was out of the town but was quite nice to be out in the quiet, the staff were amazing so sweet and accommodating did everything you needed , good air con , nice clean room , was cleaned everyday with clean towels etc , really good breakfast service included, nice pool , very helpful with organising island hopping tours, would deffo recommend If you don’t rent a scooter it is a little far out but with scooter 10 mins to the town is good
- Ellen (9/5): Wonderful staff and lovely rooms. - We had a really lovely stay and the staff were very nice and accommodating. The pool area is lovely and relaxing and the room was very comfortable with a very large bed. We found it to be a little far out from el Nido town for us (but was close to white beach).
- May (10/5): - We had a great time staying here. The owner was really friendly and nice.
- Dhiren (8/5): Very good -
- Sera13 (10/5): Wonderful stay - Lovely villas. Very clean. Wonderful friendly staff the pool was great. It is very quiet. A short tuk tuk to Las cabanas beach, el nido town. 30 mind from airport Nothing. Would stay again
- Aymeric (7/5): Good accommodation a little far from the town - Nice little bungalows with a shared swimming pool. The personal was very helpful and extremely nice. They provided cutlery for us to cook a salad for dinner and accommodated early breakfast when we had to leave early.
A little far from the center but they can easily call a tricycle. There is a rooster farming just next to the place (very noisy from 2-3am).
The pool has very strong chemicals which you can feel after 15’ in the water.
- John (9/5): Superb - Staff was extremely friendly and courteous. Rooms were very clean. Aircon was cold. Fan over bed was nice addition. Coffee waiting outside our door in morning. Breakfast was promptly served on patio outside our door. Only drawback was location. You park your car and walk a dirt pathway approximately 150 meters to get to the hotel. Hotel did send trike twice to help us move all our luggage to and from the hotel. Overall hotel stay was positive experience.
- Rob (7/5): Would recommend to someone on a budget but will need a scooter to get in and out of el nido beach - Very clean and well maintained, great value on price Shower door was broken and fell off almost breaking glass, wifi not good in room. Small Breakfast portion. Loud music and surroundings
- Will (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kornelija (9/5): Good stay ❤️ - Great location, super friendly staff, good vibe ❤️ The AC is super loud but earplugs solved the problem :)
- Chi (1/5): There was a couple who booked 4 days but plan to cancel after one day. We left after 5 minutes - It’s poorly run, no internet, room was full
of mosquitoes, swarming. We left after five
minute. Location was really bad. Room was tight, full of mosquitoes, I do not want to leave with malaria.
- Urszula (1/5): Beware of bedbugs - Unfortunately, our stay at CED Villas turned into a nightmare. During the night, we were severely bitten by bedbugs. My husband, who is a doctor, confirmed without a doubt that these were bedbug bites.
After a night of itching and discomfort, we woke up to find numerous characteristic bite marks on our bodies. I have attached photos as proof – both of the bites and the mattress under a UV light, which clearly shows the presence of bedbugs.
I strongly warn everyone against staying here. If you don’t want to bring home unwanted souvenirs, avoid this hotel at all costs.
- Anthony (7/5): Pleasant hideaway with a scooter. - The atmosphere, well maintained garden and pool. Staff very friendly. Too far off the road, tuk tuks won't drive up the rutted dirt road, had to walk to the road. The free tuk tuk to the tuk tuk depot wasn't available most times. Can't walk to the beach, restaurants or shops, 300p to town. Tours won't do pick ups because it is too far out of town. Breakfast limited.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good - Beautiful, helpful staff. Great value for money place. Lovely garden setting. Felt nice and relaxed.
- Gregoire (7/5): Good - Far away from El Nido
Full of mosquitoes and ants
Old equipment and AC
Expensive for what it is !
- Penny (8/5): Family friendly hotel - The owners are super friendly, even before we check in.
They follow up our arrival time proactively to ensure we can have tricycle support to carry our luggages.
They also can support book tours. Block-out for few minutes almost every day.
The sound of air-conditioner is very loud.
The water flow is low.
But, the room is very clean.
- Iida (7/5): Good - Nice small room.
Fenced yard-area. Was quite far away from El Nido downtown.
- Nadine (8/5): Pleasant stay - We really enjoyed our stay in this accommodation. It is a little bit outside of El Nido center but we didn't want to be in the middle since it is very crowdy and chaotic. We rented a scooter so we could go everywhere very quickly. If you want to have a drink you can take a trycyle which usually is directly on the street.
The rooms are comfortable but very simple. The garden and poolarea are very pretty. The staff is super nice and helpful. We felt very save and comfortable. I guess it's not a "Hotel" but more a homestay which made it feel even more cozy.
Next to the accommodation you can use the laundry service. Very nice ladys which wash and clean your laundry within a day. The bathroom could be renovated. I didn't felt very comfortable in it but everything was clean and worked fine.
The breakfast was pretty simple. Maybe there could be a little more variety.
- Mortaza (1/5): Dirty - Nothing Room was dirty and moist. They had done some reparations but very bad. Ceiling was coming off and room overall was bad and dirty
- Willem (9/5): Superb - Lot of Mosquito
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Maria (8/5): I had a great stay. - Super friendly team, warm-hearted atmosphere, everything was very clean and as shown in the pictures.
- Lara (8/5): Cute nice stay - Cute small villas, friendly staff and nice room. Location far away from the city and many many moskitos
- Tabitha (10/5): Clean, comfy and friendly but bring mosquito spray - The room is clean and very comfortable (room is serviced every morning with fresh towels and linen) and breakfast is served on the private patio every morning.
The staff are super friendly and go above and beyond to help out. We booked buses, tours, tuk tuks and rented a motorbike through the reception.
It's less that 10minutes drive / 25minutes walk to the best beach (Las Cabanas) which is also the best place to watch the sunset and you can go zip lining across the ocean to a small nearby island The dirt road up to the villa is short, but not in great condition so it was a bit hairy driving after rain.
They should also provide citronella candles or something because the mosquitos are rampant around the villas.
- Christiane (10/5): A home away from home. - My family and I enjoyed our stay in CED Villas, it was home away from home. The staff was very welcoming and so nice and helpful. The Wi-Fi is good since I was able to do some light work and attend a few meetings. We were 10 in total, so we occupied 3 Villas, and the rooms are to our satisfaction. The location is quiet and peaceful which is lovely and will allow you to rest and recover after a tiring day. We enjoyed our breakfast sitting outside while we relax and plan our day. We also appreciated the fact that the owner was so proactive in anticipating what we might like and would love to see. They arranged for our tours and one of their staff even picked us up afterwards when there was miscommunication with the driver of the VAN for the pickup time after the tour. Their customer service was excellent, and they have provided us with a memorable experience. I hope the pathway in reaching CED Villas will be improved but either way it was fine, we got used to walking to the main road to get to the VAN we hired or ride the pedicab. It took about 2-3 minutes of walking, which was acceptable, at least we got to exercise a bit.
- Holly (8/5): This was a lovely place to stay, very kind staff! - The staff are so so friendly
It was my birthday and they helped decorate the room which was so kind
Decent size room
Mosquito net was good as quite a few bugs, didn’t get bitten at all!
Hot shower A little bit too far out of the town for us as we don’t drive scooters and the tricycles were 250 pesos each way. Although was close to Vanilla Beach and the zip line!
- Mike (10/5): I wish i could have stayed here for my whole month in the philippines - The host and her sons were so helpful. They had a scooter delivered, they answered all my questions and made good suggestions on where to go.
Coffee was on my balcony table every morning and soon after my breakfast came. The location is 2 miles out of town away from loud town of el nido. The villas were clean and comfortable with good beds and quiet air conditioning, daily housekeeping. This place was my quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist in town. This is the best place i've stayed in my two weeks in the philippines. And i only wish that i could find more places like this for the rest of my journey . The narrow bumpy path to the resort was a surprise at first, but i found it was part of the nice remote location. You should rent a motorbike if you stay here.
Nothing bad to say about this place because the staff made it such a nice stay.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cristina (9/5): We really had a nice time. The Owner was so helpful. Thank you very much Cons and Madame. 🤩👌🫶. - Breakfast was good. It was perfect .It is served on time. In a beautiful garden settings👌Location is not bad. Although I was thinking it is near the beach. But it’did not became an issue as public transport was always accessible. Plus we rented a motor on our free time , which is not too expensive and the best way to explore the island🫶👌🤩 CED villas was so relaxing and clean. Owners are so helpful and they attend immediately to our needs. I I Really loved the ambiance The plants , the trees. The mountain view. I like the room/ villa were we stayed. We were 8 in a 7 persons capacity but we are still very comfortable. It has two bathroom and toilet that we did not have to rush in using, as we are 8. But most definitely I love the swimming pool the we were able to relax and have fun in the evening after our whole day island hopping. It was perfect 🤩 And we are definitely coming back 👌🫶💗

- Emma (7/5): Ok, quiet stay in el nido - Cute little bungalows with terrace table and chairs. Bit out of the way but we liked how quiet it was compared to the chaos of el nido town, just need a scooter! Was a lot smaller than it looks in pictures, barely space to move once your luggage is in it. Air con wasn’t amazing. Pool smelt really weird and stung my skin…
- Rod (7/5): Good - Nice villas. Helpful staff. Basic breakfast. Not enough loungers by pool. Hard furniture.
- Petr (9/5): Superb - Cleanliness
Quiet
Staff A little bit far from the "night life" but on the other hand absolutly peaceful and quiet. (it depends what you prefer/like).
Breakfest could be better (e.g. more fruit)

- Janice (6/5): Pleasant -
- Vincent (10/5): Exceptional - The only bad thing was that we only booked there for 1 night. This hotel is amazing with some of the friendliest staff you’ll find, nothing bad about it!
- Alexfc97 (9/5): Superb - Great staff, clean, beautiful accommodation. Nice for couples.
- Knichlus (1/5): Sad but least the weather was good - Not much ..the pool is OK The area it was un is far from town and it costs 1.5 too 3k php a day travelling to the store and back beach and back

- Marco (1/5): Bad customer service, Dangerous road. Very far from town. No cellular service. Unreliable wifi. - Nothing. It was a bad experience for us, especially the customer service. The property is very far. We arrived at the property with no electricity, no wifi, no water, and no cellular service. When we asked for our options because the basic necessities were not available then they told us that we can leave. Then we asked how to talk to the manager or owner and they told us to contact him/her via booking.com but we could not because there was no wifi or cellular service. We ended up taking a tricycle back to town to get internet and by that time we figured it was better to just stay closer to town to avoid the headache. So to save you from the same headache I would recommend to just book another accommodation with similar price closer to town. Dangerous small unpaved road with sharp wires to get to the place. Bad customer service. No cellular service. Wifi and the internet is not reliable. The place looks smaller than what's in the photos. Very far from the places you would want to visit in El Nido. Not worth the hassle. If your concern is the price then just book a cheaper one or similar price closer to town. If you want a quieter place outside El Nido town, then I would recommend looking at Lio or Villa Libertad area. Please do not support this type of business on Booking that has bad customer service and taking advantage of tourists by charging 40% more for scooters (because you'll be forced to rent a scooter since it's far) and not disclosing the real situation of the property of not having cellular service and bad road condition.
- Marco (1/5): Highly not recommended. Bad customer service, no cellular service, dangerous small road to get to it - Nothing good about these "villas". It was very far from the places to visit in El Nido and the road was not paved that even the local tricycle drivers were complaining. The road was very tight, and uneven and had dangerous sharp wires on the side. We thought it would be a nice place to unwind and focus on our online work outside main El NIdo town but it was a big disappointment. We arrived with no electricity, no water (at least in the common bathrooms when we tried), no wifi, and no cellular service. We were stuck. And if we want to go to town to get cellular service we need to ride the tricycle again through the road with barbed wires or rent a scooter which they are charging 40% more expensive compared to the scooter rental in the town. They are charging more for the scooter because you'll be forced to rent a scooter if you stay. We asked for our options and the caretaker told us that we could leave if we wanted to and it's not their responsibility. I understand if there's no electricity sometimes on the island but not having cellular service is a non-negotiable for us to be able to do our online work but the property didn't disclose that important information ahead and didn't specify in their booking.com profile. There's cellular service all over El Nido town even in Las Cabanas and Lio beach area so there's really no reason to book this accommodation because it's very far, customer service is bad, facilities are low quality. It's too expensive for what they are charging and so I don't really see the value they are providing. You're better off booking for a similar price in town. We ended up not staying because there was no point and we could not risk our work commitments if there was no cellular service when wifi and electricity fails again during our stay. We asked for a refund for some of the days and the owner, Conrad, was not even apologetic about what happened and didn't approve our refund. Just very bad customer service so I highly do not recommend and support this type of business. I've been using Booking.
