- GREGORY (8/5): Superb value! - Rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. Location leaves much to be desired as it is over an hour from downtown and is sequestered at the far end of a housing complex; neighborhood is quite safe even at dark hours. This is fortunate because security is quite lax. There are several small eateries nearby but no high-quality restaurants. Owners are quite helpful, can speak some English, and will provide directions. Wifi is of decent speed for China. Towels are not replaced daily and are insufficient (only two face towels). Shower has shampoo and conditioner but no body wash. Potable water is available in kitchen and complementary tea is provided. Books are decorational and there is no clock. Do not expect luxuries such as television. Rooms are within a private apartment and you are expected to take off your shoes before entry. Not for sensitive sleepers as rooms are not soundproof and cats will serenade you at night.
