- Martin (10/5): Very enjoyable, both town and accommodation recommended - The location is great, 5 minutes walk from the castle and town centre. Gaëlle was lovely when we dealt with her. We turned up early so she allowed us to store bags until the room was ready, then she booked us a taxi when we needed to get to the station on our last day. We had one of the apartments which was a good size for two people, and the cooking facilities were what we needed when we didn't want to eat out. If you order the breakfast basket, that is 12 euros per person but there was that much in it, it did us for 2 days. Rooms were clean and bins changed every day. Amboise is a lovely town to visit and this is a recommended place to stay. The pool doesn't open until 11am which we felt was a bit late as a swim in the morning before we went off for the day could've been nice. This might have been as we went later in the season.

- john (10/5): Perfect a gem in the heart of Amboise. - Upon arrival we upgraded our room to a garden 'cabana' with a hot tub. The cabana was situated in the lovely quiet grounds of the hotel with a view of Chateau Amboise from the balcony - so relaxing, beautiful, quiet and private. The facilities in the cabana were excellent - a comfy bed, a seating area a bathroom, separate shower and toilet. We opted to source our own supper and enjoy sitting/eating out on our balcony as the sun set. Central to Amboise with the Chateau a 5min walk. Excellent food and wine tasting in the bars in the Chateau walls. Private car parking. A real gem would highly recommend staying at this hotel - lots of variety in accommodation and perfect hosts. nothing

Właściciel wyszedł nam na spotkanie chociaż byliśmy przed czasem, przygotował dla nas rekomendację co i w jakiej kolejności zwiedzić, gdzie warto zjeść kolację. Polecam! Parking jest dość ciasny i w czasie weekendu był pełny ale na to niewiele da się poradzić bo dom stoi w ciasnej zabudowie.

Die Unterkunft ist absolut zu empfehlen! Die Liegen am Pool sind schon ziemlich durchgelegen. Vielleicht reicht es in der nächsten Saison zu neuen Liegen.

Great view from the balcony to watch the people on the street and the market on Saturdays and Wednesday. Sarlat is a good hub for exploring the dordogne region. A bit tricky for parking and moving luggage . Air conditioning would have been nice as the temperature was in the mid 30s during our visit. Amazing that this place is available

Die Lage ist zentral. Kostenloser eigener Parkplatz. Es hätte etwas mehr Küchenausrüstung (besteck, Gläser, usw) vorhanden sein können.

The bed was comfy and large and what a bonus to have air conditioning and electric shutters. Everything very clean. View to garden. Pool was superb - we had it to ourselves on a very hot day! Really lovely place. Treehouse accommodation looked amazing - might stay there next time! Nothing

- stephanie (4/5): - La chambre était jolie et confortable L accueil assez peu agréable : réflexion peu agréable en arrivant car on était en avance . Cela aurait pu être dur autrement . Rien ne semble fait pour que le voyageur se sente à son aise : pour aller dans le jardin la porte qui donne sur le jardin est fermée à clé il faut faire tout le tour et passer devant la rue bruyante . Pas d endroit confortable pour passer du temps , Nous pensions arriver dans un hôtel et au lieu de cela nous étions dans un gîte tenu par des personnes qui n étaient pas très professionnelles . Le rapport qualité prix n était pas bon .

- Ellen (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Amboise. - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in one of the lovely cottages and it was perfect. It was private and well equipped and extremely comfortable. Our hosts were welcoming and wonderful. Nothing it was exceptional

- Caroline (9/5): Great place to stay. - Great location a short walk from the Royal Palace. Parking for the car onsite. We were upgraded to a 2 room apartment in the annexe. Very friendly welcome. Tea and coffee facilities in room. Would definitely stay here again. Air conditioning. The breakfast basket has a plain croissant, pain au chocolate and baguette each. Would prefer less bread and maybe a yoghurt and a piece of fruit with a croissant. Otherwise all great.

- Liz (9/5): Great location - Great location less than 10 minutes walk to town centre. We were in the annex, which had a kitchenette, large bed, and was super quiet. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Smallish shower cubicle.
- Martin (9/5): Rustig en zeer dicht bij het centrum - Het is een B&B, maar het ontbijt is niet inbegrepen. Ontbijtmand apart te bestellen voor 12 euro p.p. Kamer is ruim en schoon, met airco. Kleine kitchenette is heel fijn. Ik miste een oplaadpunt/stopcontact voor mijn telefoon naast het bed.

- Kate (10/5): A gem in beautiful Amboise - We stayed in a studio apartment in the annex building and it was spotless with everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. We ordered the breakfast basket which came with baguette, croissants and a large bottle of orange juice. Gaelle was very friendly and helpful and runs an amazing property which I would love to visit again. There was free private on site parking. The location was excellent just a 5 minute walk to everything but in a really peaceful area so there was no noise. It was our favourite accommodation on our Loire Valley trip. There was nothing I didn’t like.

I was more disappointed with booking.com which could not facilitate shortening our stay so we paid for 6 days but only stayed for 4
- Cranston (10/5): Great Place to Start France Vacation - Everything was just as it was advertised. Walking distance to everything. The pool was beautiful, even though we didn't have much time to spend there. Close to bike rentals. Bruno and Gaelle were attentive and so helpful. We lost a backpack biking and my husband fell off his bike. Bruno was kind enough to help clean up the scrape. This was a perfect way to start our trip in France. Nothing - all good just as is.
