- Philip (10/5): Oasis of Kariba - Secluded and cozy atmosphere; the huts are charming, clean, and gives you a very relaxed state of mind - the fact that the huts are open makes your sleep even better due to the fresh air, and the beds are extremely comfortable, too.
The lodge provides delicious homemade meals and offers a wide selection of beer, wine, and other spirits.
The manager was always friendly, cheerful, and happy to answer any question we may have; to ensure that our stay became as pleasant as possible.
We will definitely miss Hornbill Lodge, and we look forward to come back another time ๐ Nothing

Got to Hornbill and it was just as advertised. Sonny and her team were excellent from the warm welcome to my exit.
My chalet was cleaned daily, had my laundry done. Each meal was lovely. Dinner is family style and changes daily.. Even desert!
My favoutite desert was the baked apple and home made ice cream.. To die for!
I love fish and Sonny was kind enough to have me have fish for my last meal even though it wasnt the evenings meal.
She is very hands on and her team friendly.
Nothing I would change or recommend.

- Tinotenda (7/5): I enjoyed my stay and will go back again - It is a peaceful place. Food, it wasnโt a traditional meal
- Irene (8/5): Perhaps consider doors to toilet facilities. People are different, some like total privacy during those routines. - Beautiful lodges with African feel. Impeccable designs and very quiet and tranquil.
Food was amazing, first class indeed.
Big up to the chef. My issue was no door to bathroom/ toilet. For people who like total privacy during toileting habits I found it very uncomfortable.
Also lack of stimulation for such expensive prices. Itโll be nice to be given choice of having TV in lodges in respect of choice. On rainy days stuck in cottages with no stimulation is not very ideal. Or days one just want to rest in.

- Pawel (10/5): A true Diamond overlooking Kariba Lake - Hornbill Lodge is a hidden gem overlooking Lake Kariba. Sunny, the owner, and her great staff create a truly relaxing atmosphere. The accommodation is top level, both comfortable and unique, traditional design with every amenity you would need. The food is exceptional, and the honour bar system adds a charming touch of trust. Sunny went above and beyond, offering me a free ride to Andorra Harbour and ensured thatI arrived at the right location. Her personal care exemplifies the outstanding standard of hospitality here. For a fantastic lakeside experience, look no further than this peaceful retreat. Hornbill Lodge is simply perfect for anyone visiting the area.โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ kariba Ferry is also a must! Nothing
