• Ingrid (8/5): Ein sehr erholsamer Urlaub mit nettem aufmerksamen Personal in einem gepflegtem Hotel mit schönem Garten. - Die Lage des Hotels in der schönen Natur. Nach dem Abendessen konnte man sich nicht im Hotel aufhalten, um z.B. zu lesen oder Karten zu spielen.Es blieb nur das Hotelzimmer.

• Margreth (8/5): Veel te duur. - De bedden waren prima en het ontbijt was goed. Complimenten aan de dames van het ontbijt die uitermate vriendelijk en service gericht waren. We konden een lunchpakket meenemen (tegen betaling), wat heel erg fijn was. We liepen de Eifelsteig en waren aangenaam verrast dat de eigenaar gasten, en ons dus ook, een lift naar het startpunt gaf, wat ons 1,5 km flink omhoog lopen scheelde. Het hotel ligt een flink stuk buiten het dorp. Omdat we de Eifelsteig liepen, hadden we dus alleen onze eigen benen als vervoer. Dan is het onplezierig nog een heel stuk te moeten lopen. Toen we aankwamen moesten we verplicht ons biertje aan de tafel drinken die voor het avondeten was gereserveerd. Deze tafel was reeds gedekt. Een andere plek mocht niet (behalve buiten waar het fris was. De klant stond duidelijk niet centraal. Het avondeten stelde niet veel voor. De salade werd als voorafje gebracht en het bord welke daarna kwam, had enkel een lap vlees en kruidenboter erop. De patat werd apart geserveerd. Helaas is de bediening niet meer langs gekomen en hebben we zelf maar gevraagd om koffie. De hotelkamer was uiterst functioneel en uiterst ongezellig. Het uitzicht was belabberd (zie foto). Het was ons duurste hotel, maar tevens de minste. Heel jammer.

• Brigitte (9/5): - Ideale Ausgangspunkt zum Wandern. Ruhige Lage. Sehr schöne Außenterrasse mit Blick auf die kleine Kyll. Sehr freundlicher Service. Exzellentes Frühstück. Würde die Heidsmühle jederzeit wieder buchen.

• Sam (10/5): brilliant views, brilliant location we will be back! - the staff at this hotel were very helpful, we stayed for one night with 6 cars, the hotel could accommodate us all very well. The food was excellent and the view was incredible. we will be staying again
• Maximilian (7/5): Good - The location is very nice, in the green, good parking place and a nice restaurant. The breakfast was traditional and good, rooms are spacious and well renovated. We booked a room for our family of 4. Due to some delay of our plane we arrived quite late in the night but we could arrange with the hotel to be able to get the keys left somewhere. Somebody however waited for us, we found it to be a nice gesture. Problem is, going to the room, very tired for the long trip and with the children sleeping, we found out the two extra beds supposed to be there, were not arranged and the only bed available was a king size bed for 4 people. Being late in the night we did not want to wake up somebody again and we could arrange to find some blankets and two of us slept on a small sofa bed which was in the room, but it was not too comfortable.. In the morning, we cleared the matter with the hotel, they actually did apologise for the mistake and they also refunded us the difference paid for a quadruple bedroom compared to a double one, so basically they refounded the two beds we did not use. Anyway this does not cancel the fact we did have a bad night because of their mistake and our feeling is the attitude of the hotel could have been more conciliatory than just refunding two beds we couldn't use, while two of us basically slept on a hard mattress on the ground.

• Christina (10/5): - Traumhaft gelegen mitten in der Natur an einem kleinen Teich. Unmittelbar angrenzend sind viele Wanderwege. Zur Zeit noch im Aufbau nach der Überschwemmung, aber die Hütte die zum Übergang vorhanden ist, ist echt süß.
• Jesper (8/5): Smuk beliggende - En enkelt overnatning på vej længere syd på. Valgte hotellet pga. 4 hunde med på rejsen. Alt fungerede. Hotellet ligger smukt med masser af stisystemer. Fin morgenmad med alt hvad man kan forvente.
