- Jenny (8/5): - Great location, lots of rooms, quirky fun decor, great communication with owners. Really nice outdoor space. Bathroom not great, shower not high enough for tall people and temperature hard to adjust.
- Guest (9/5): - Lovely property, well looked after, beautiful decor, great location.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (6/5): Cool place to stay but not super comfortable. A good summer stay when you’ll be out and about a lot. - The property was nicely decorated and had a trendy feel. It’s close to the beach and the kitchen was very well equipped. Hosts provided quite a lot of the basics e.g. tea, coffee, herbs and spices etc which was really helpful. It wasn’t particularly comfortable. Style over substance a bit. Fine for a short stay but not great if you’re there for a while and want to all sit and watch tv in the evening for example. The shower is over the bath and there’s no slip mat which was challenging for an older relative we were travelling with. The outside area was very dirty - empty bottles and cigarette ends everywhere. I think it had probably been overlooked in the handover clean as the rest of the house was clean and tidy.
- Alison (8/5): Great house but a little care in the garden would have made it a 10 - Decor was great and plenty of glasses and plates The back garden
- Sandra (8/5): Very nice - Location was v good No parking outside property
- Caroline (10/5): Great location, fab house - Lock box outside house was very convenient. Location was amazing to access the beach front and also close to the bus stop for us to get to Quex Park. We parked locally on a free road and it was only a 5 minute walk - not as convenient as being able to park outside, but not terrible. House was immaculate, so clean, and styled beautifully, kitchen well stocked, bedding all clean and presented very nicely. Lots of space for our group of 9 (inc 5 children), even when all sat together in the lounge. It suited us very well. In the middle double bedroom, the bed frames were not bolted together underneath so moved very easily / made a noise whenever you moved around. It's a tiny thing and the only issue. Everything else really was great.
- Michelle (10/5): Great Margate accommodation - Clean, comfortable, fully equipped and great location. 5 of us stayed here for a weekend Margate trip. House is situated less than 10 min stroll to the old town/Turner gallery.
Beds and large bedrooms perfectly comfortable. Living areas good for socialising. Bathroom on ground floor with bath, shower, toilet plus a separate toilet on first floor.
- Carl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Olga (8/5): Very good - Great place, close to town. Comfy beds On a very busy road and parking is a bit of a walk away
- Ruth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeremy (10/5): Lovely place and great space for somewhere so central - Great space and location. Hosts were efficient and easy to deal with. A little scruffy in places but it’s Margate and didn’t detract from the stay and we had a brilliant stay and spend quite a bit of time around the table and in the living space.
- Gabriel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martin (6/5): A good few days in Margate - Good space for a family group and well located for the beach, Dreamland, town centre and the railway station. Good local tips provided by local agent and good instructions to gain access. Lots of towels and the kids loved the bunk beds! Unfortunately there were some issues with cleaning particularly in the kitchen but the local agent was very responsive regarding issues raised. The bedrooms were also rather warm at night and being on a main road made keeping the windows open tricky.
- James (9/5): Superb - Great location, perfect for a large group. Well maintained and communication from the host is brilliant
- Josianne (7/5): A great stay in Margate - Beds were fabulously comfortable and bedrooms really lovely. Lovely layout and liked the big dining room table and benches. Shower over bath was great and easy to use. Good fridge freezer and all other necessities such as microwave, iron and hair dryer etc. were provided. Also plenty of toilet roll. A lovely lady came to take away last customer's bedding and she also brought us some milk and eggs which was a lovely touch. Close to sea and everything else we wanted to see and do. I had a painful condition in my leg and seating in lounge was not the best for two of us (as older). The single chair had a sagging seat which needs to be replaced. Main sofa was floor level so only good for the youngsters. Found no instructions for using the 4 different remote controls for TV and couldn't get ITV except on Chromecast and it kept freezing - not a huge problem as plenty else to choose from. On main road so didn't want to open front windows but fine with rear windows to get some air.
- Gary (8/5): Very good -
- Grainne (9/5): Amazing stay in an amazing place. Location is perfect to everything you need at Margate. - The location was perfect! The house was really comfortable, quirky and everything we needed for our friends weekend away. When cooking the smoke alarm always went off!
