- Jill (10/5): Comfortable, peaceful, area with easy access to the town and station. - A good choice of different food for breakfast and always plenty to eat. The town is within walking distance of the house as is the railway station. The room is very clean, there are plenty of fluffy towels. The bed is comfy, I always sleep well. The house is in a quiet residential area. Easy to park you car.

- Kevin (9/5): Comfortable - Modern property, clean and tidy, just enough for our needs for a two night stay.
Karen our host was a lovely person who made sure the room was serviced with the necessary room tidy and replenishment for the following days breakfast. Nothing it was fine for our needs
- Lorraine (7/5): Good - Very clean, good location, only issue room very small. Size of room
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Katalin (10/5): Beautiful place - Beautifully decorated small room, with everything you need and more. The owner lady is very kind and helpful, and we had a great breakfast. A must in Royston!
- Chris (9/5): Very comfortable stay in a lovely room - Karen was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was available in the room from the night before. Basic pre packed items and fruit, but being available for an early start and to eat on the go is a big positive. Nice modern house, very clean, very comfortable. Didn't use the WiFi (there was football on the TV in the room) En suite bathroom would have been perfect, but not available with this room, but this wasn't an issue.
- Caroline (10/5): It was a very comfortable stay in a relaxed and quiet home - It was exceptionally clean. The host was really pleasant and thoughtful. She had thought of everything you could want. Lots of little extras
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Harry (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent with all you need. Extremely supportive and kind host.
- Garry (9/5): Superb - Convenience to our location.
Clean tidy room
Fresh milk and fridge in room.
Lovely host who accommodated our dietary needs. Not having room with onsuit bathroom.
- Karin (10/5): Lush and lovely stay - The room was lovely, immaculately clean and our host provided ample breakfast options as well as toiletries. The bathroom was for exclusive use across the hall. It was a nice and quiet area of town.
- Ralph (7/5): Okay stay in Royston. - Parking was no problem, the owner was very friendly, bathroom was fine The location in a new-ish housing estate without any amenaties was not ideal. Easy to reach and find in the car but the nearest shop seemed 1 1/2 miles away, so either a long walk or driving. You'd expect a little bit more space but you learn every day.
- Christopher (9/5): Great place to stay if you have business in the area. - Karen is a great host. Property and room maintained to a high standard.
- William (8/5): Very happy with our stay,in a very comfortable and clean property. - Very quiet, and very clean and comfortable
- Daniel (10/5): 10/10 - Amazing accommodation, had plenty of options such as food and refreshments.
- Susan (10/5): Excellent - A lovely compact clean cosy room with en-suite. In room continental breakfast with fresh milk in the fridge. There was nothing I didn’t like.
- Richard (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (10/5): Very very good - Have never stayed in a private house. But will certainly do it again if i can. I made an error with my booking only realising on my day of departure. I spoke to a lady who was house sitting and requested a extra night which was agreed to. If in Royston will use again. Thank you karen Perhaps the breakfast had to balance plates on my knees. Content was good.
- John (10/5): Great stay try it - The room was great with all the facilities with ensuite. The bed was very comfortable the room was very clean and tidy every day. And it was just like being at home real snug and comfortable
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hughes (8/5): Very good - Very comfortable, felt very homely and welcoming. Was nice to have several breakfast choices even inside such a limited space.
- Piera (8/5): Quite pricey for the service offered - We found the room quite small, although very well appointed and clean. Breakfast was not very pleasant as we had to sit on the bed and juggle the cups and plates. There were two soggy croissants each, jam but no butter. The Nescafé coffee was horrendous! No tissues or napkins so a trip to the bathroom situated outside the room was necessary. See above!
- Cristina (9/5): very nice place ! - very clean, really nice host, 2 AMAZING cats the breakfast it's not really a breakfast just some cereals, croissants, milk etc
- Hugh (9/5): Superb -
- Hugh (10/5): Exceptional - Very thoughtful and kind. A wee bit remote for me personnal but not their fault.
- Elaine (8/5): Very good -
- Susan (9/5): Lovely little single room - Breakfast was fine. In the single room it needed to be simple and manageable. The room was nicely decorated and had everything I needed. It was a really pleasant environment for a couple of nights. I hadn’t realised that the room was up two flights of stairs, the second was narrow and had two turns in it. I really struggled to carry my case up. My host told me she would have helped but I didn’t know that. I don’t think that room, lovely though it was, is suitable for elderly people or those with limited mobility.
- Adam (8/5): Very good -
- Diana (8/5): We were looking for good value for money close to Cambridge and this fitted the bill perfectly. - Karen was extremely friendly and helpful
- Adam (7/5): Clean and tidy. Comfy - Comfy Shared bathroom
- Carol (9/5): Overall excellent house and facilities - Facilities were very good Without a car it’s too far from bus/train
Breakfast could have been more interesting
- Claire (10/5): We stayed two nights to attend a wedding, our stay was made perfect due to the host, all we could wish for was available - Extremely clean and comfortable, the host had made sure everything you could possibly need was in the room. Lovely bathroom, lots of information regarding the local area was in a helpful booklet in the room. There really was nothing we did not like all was perfect.
- Aneicia (9/5): Superb -
- Power (10/5): Definatly stay there again - Food good room very clean landlady very friendly Everything giod
- Chantelle (9/5): Friendly host, clean, easy to find and close to feeder roads from up and down the country. - Karen the host was impeccable and friendly.
Discreet but we knew how to reach her if needed.
All the amenities were as described.
Continental breakfast.
Rooms extremely high standard of decor and cleanliness. Room was warm. Fan provided and blackout curtains helped enormously.
- John (8/5): Nice place to sleep in Royston - Comfortable bed. Good tv. Clean bathroom. Nice touch to include items such as comb, toothbrush & paste, shaving stuff, in case these were forgotten.
Self breakfast, with fresh milk and a kettle for tea/coffee was ok Granola would have been a better choice than cocopops to go along with cornflakes and rice crispies. And perhaps a Greek yoghurt or other yoghurt in the fridge, besides milk
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional - Continental breakfast.
- Juan (10/5): Warm and cosy stay. Loved it! - Karen was amazing. A warm and friendly host who went out of her way to ensure that our stay was comfortable. A truly wonderful person! We had everything we required and more, to make our stay pleasant, being such a long way from home. In addition there were lots of thoughtful extras that were really appreciated. Thank you Karen!! -
- Dawn (10/5): Best Accommodation I've stayed b at for years - Personal touches
Thoughtful host
High quality cleanliness
Great communication
Great location for Duxford Nothing
- Giovanna (10/5): As always, a very nice stay. - Comfortable, clean, friendly, in a very quiet area. There is a bit of a walk to get to the shops and the restaurants. But nice in this season.
- Fatima (9/5): A great weekend away! - We had an amazing time in Royston and enjoyed our stay in Redwing Rise accommodation.
The area was quiet and not too far from the centre (about 15 to 20minutes walk).
The room was cosy, lovely, and comfortable. We slept really well.
The house was really nice and clean. I loved the interior decor and the lovely candle smell.
The host, Karen, was exceptional. She was SUPER friendly; VERY welcoming and helpful. She made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.
As soon as we booked the accommodation, Karen sent us all the details we needed to get to the property, including where to park. Great communication.
We had continental breakfast ready in our room. Different little Cereal boxes, pain aux chocolat, and fresh fruits. The milk was in the little fridge in the room.
We also had a nice selection of teabags (I love herbal teas, so I was happy with this), coffee, and hot chocolate. It was nicely done..
PS: I really loved the "welcome message" note on the bed, I thought it was sweet😊 Everything was great!
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Julia (7/5): I was there for 2 nights bed and room where comfortable and a tv the owner was nice - No cooked breakfast can’t remember if u could order it but had chocolate Croissant 🥐 Cereal and fruit in the room and milk in the fridge and tea and a kettle plus snacks that you have to pay for but cheep and had a selection of takeout menus from restaurants around the area I was expecting my bathroom to be an onsite bathroom but was across the hall but was only for the room I’m was staying in so only I could use it and only street parking but wasn’t hard to find a place
- Stewart (8/5): Very good - Not great but OK don't like eating in the bedroom Eating in the room
- Julie (10/5): exceptional service host was so friendly and accommodating would definitely stay there again, Thankyou Karen - very clean there wasn’t anything wrong with the property
- Giovanna (10/5): Excellent - Karen was an excellent host and fully supportive when I was sick for a day. The room is more of a small apartment with everything you might need for a short stay.
- Justin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charlie (9/5): Superb -
- Nicholas (9/5): I needed somewhere to stay at very short notice that was not too far away and didn't cost a fortune - Breakfast was left in the room with milk in the fridge.
Good variety. Maybe an upgrade with the coffee sachets provided.
Having said that it is hard to find anything negative to say about the place.
- Gerald (9/5): Superb -
- Babu (7/5): Good - Well organised Room too small, no chair to sit , everything has to be done on the bed
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Ali (10/5): I wish to book it again - Everything was perfect
- Vsnessa (8/5): Very good - Very nice helpful people
Lovely big ginger cat
Nice to be left alone and not fussed over I don't have a car
Quite isolated
Couldn't get a taxi
Walked a long way to a bus stop to find no Sunday buses
Wouldn't recommend for travellers without a car
- Eva (4/5): Disappointing - Room very small.
- Matt (10/5): Excellent -
- william (8/5): Excellent - Excellent stay
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I would definitely recommend staying here. The hosts were great. The area is really pretty and very quiet. It's walking distance from anywhere in Royston. The room was very comfortable and clean. I especially liked having a refrigerator. The only complaint I have is the shower. It was very difficult to control the temperature.
