Guest Reviews
- PM (9/5): - Het is een super rustige locatie. Heerlijk! In de cottage is alles wat je nodig hebt. Het bed is prima, Het bed is 140 cm breed. De (onbeveiligde) wifi is uitstekend. Parkeren op eigen terrein voor de deur.
- Clare (10/5): Excellent self contained accomodation - Location was really quiet, everything was great, a well equipped kitchen and super comfy bed. Will definately return.
- Alan (10/5): -

- Andrew (9/5): We had a comfortable short stay and would be more than happy to return for a longer stay. - It was very quiet and would be very nice to sit outside when the weather is better. The location is great, only a half an hours drive from several interesting locations. Facilities were basically all you need for a pleasant stay One side of the bed was fairly tight up against the wall, making it difficult to get out of bed in the middle of the night. The sitting room radiator was set a little too high for us, I could see no instructions how to adjust it and I was too tired from our journey to try and work it out
- Jo (8/5): Warm, cosy, great location for an overnight stay to break a journey. - Warm, cosy, great location for an overnight stay to break a journey.
- Heather (9/5): - The location, the facilities were well cared for . Nothing
- Dr Keith (9/5): - Situation, car-parking, 'goodies' in fridge, everything worked well Bedroom was clean and comfortable but a little cramped - this would not put us off staying in the property again!

- Michael (10/5): - Great location, very well appointed, gist very helpful
- wendy (8/5): Lovely stay in a clean and very well equipped cottage. - The cottage was very clean and very well equipped. As we did not need to spend a lot of time there, it made the perfect base for a family wedding and meeting family members. Bed was very comfortable. Very friendly owner came to greet us. We have already recommended to a family member and would stay here again ourselves. Very small rooms - looked much bigger on the website. Not much room for luggage storage
- Rebecca (10/5): -
- Susan (7/5): Good - Lovely property and position.. The bedroom..far too small
- Harvey (8/5): Good, But With Limitations - Close to the motorway, this was an overnight stop
for us and filled the bill. It was clean, fully equipped and well-maintained. It’s small and so packed with furniture that it can be hard to maneuver. A small dining table and chairs partly blocks access to the bedroom. There is so little space between the bed and the flanking walls that you have to climb in from the foot of the bed. Some of this is baked in, but travelers should know what they’ll be getting.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alison (9/5): We would stay again. - Quiet rural location. Comfortable bed. Basket of breakfast essentials, milk, juice, coffee etc. Lovely outside space with chairs. Comfortable living area. Well equipped kitchen. The bathroom could do with a little updating, not a big issue and it was very clean.
- Ingram (7/5): Good - The accommodation was beautiful and very relaxing. The little touches like items for breakfast and real milk and orange juice were a welcome change as so many places we have stayed do not include these. Nothing

- Carole (8/5): We had a comfy stay for 2 nights but wouldn’t stay longer. - Welcome pack on arrival including biscuits, cereals, milk and orange juice. Cleanliness of sheets/towels. Comfy bed. Plenty of crockery/utensils Quietness of area. Good communication from owner via text. Bathroom and bedroom a little small, not much room to get in and out of bed. No shops nearby to nip to if you needed something in a hurry. No information provided as to things to see/do in the area.

- Ibrahim (10/5): Another Wonderful Stay at Little Rushbrook Cottages. - A super stay at a wonderful cottage. Our second stay at Little Rushbrook, as it is the perfect location for us to use as a base to visit family and friends in Worcester. Christine went the extra mile, and on our arrival (on 23rd December) the cottage was bursting with food, festive treats and even a little Christmas tree! Cosy, warm and very well presented, in beautiful grounds, these cottages are highly recommended.
- James (10/5): - We stayed at Little Rushbrook cottages while visiting an event at the NEC, which was about 14 miles away. Checking in was very easy, parking was right outside the front door and the cottage was clean warm and comfortable, situated in a peaceful rural setting but still close to the city. We particularly liked the breakfast basket provided. it would have been nice to meet the owners and explore the area a bit more, but maybe next time.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phil (10/5): - Very pleasant place to stay.
- DEREK (8/5): - Good for a 2-3 day stay. Two nearby pubs ok for meals.
- Caroline (10/5): Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. After a busy day at the NEC it was so nice to return to the peace and quiet & - The cottage had everything I needed and more. I’ve never had so much food left for me and usually bring my own so it was a lovely surprise. Couldn’t fault it except I wish it was dog friendly as I’d love to return with my Springer Spaniel for a walking holiday.
- David (10/5): Well prepared property, very well equipped, comprehensive welcome package. - The property was clean and well prepared, surprising welcome pack of breakfast food, with fresh milk and orange juice and butter, probably enough to last the whole stay. TV, and internet available, exceeding quiet location. The property came complete with plenty of towels and linen. A surprisingly good mix of crockery and cooking equipment was also supplied.
- Sue (10/5): Freedom, comfort & value for money. - Attention to detail- chocolate biscuits on arrival & a fridge with fruit juice fresh yoghurt butter bread ham marmalade all so unexpected.
Christine the host was on hand if we needed anything. Beautiful outlook garden full of birds butterflies that were delightful that we could observe from the patio furniture with a cuppa of coffee.
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helen (8/5): peaceful - Breakfast eggs, milk, bread, orange juice, cereals, yoghurts and biscuits supplied for us to enjoy. The only the only thing that was missing was not seeing anyone at all during our stay which was unusual given the closeness of the main building. A check to see if everything was ok.
- Margaret (9/5): Superb -
- Russell (10/5): Been back 3 times. - peaceful, great area, friendly hosts, lovely place!

- Theresa (10/5): I rediscovered the art of doing nothing . It peaceful just what I needed .The host was lovely - The property was exactly like the pictures idyllic
- Roger (8/5): - A very comfortable little cottage, just right for 2 people. Very clean , excellent bed, al cooking facilities, good tv settee and breakfast table.. Most pleasant garden , plenty of car parking space. No local shops, just a 24 hour garage 5 minutes away. Peaceful and situated in a country lane..
- Darrell (6/5): The accommodation was adequate - The property was clean upon our arrival and it was nice to have a selection of breakfast cereals and a pint of milk. The decor was dated, crockery was chipped, only one good sized wine glass not two. We felt that it was not worth the price paid.
- Jennifer (10/5): Great little place - We enjoyed our stay at Little Rushbrook cottages very much. Communication was excellent, the accommodation clean and well equipped for our stay. Good quality tea bags (always worth mentioning) a lively outside space and very comfy bed. Thank you Christine for a lovely stay.

- Heung Wing (10/5): Nice place - Very Nice place
- Vanessa (10/5): - The property was great. My partner and I stayed for 3 nights. It is on a farm. There are two beautiful horses that came to say hello to us and 2 sweet dogs. We were provided with eggs from the chickens outside. The surrounding area was lovely; there are many public paths for us to walk on. The property had a stove, oven, microwave, and toaster. The bathroom was ensuite and clean. There is an outside seating area to have your meals outside. Enjoyed my time there.
- helen (10/5): Lovely weekend away Quiet - It was a beautiful weekend and felt the need to get away. The property is on a quiet lane and the garden is lovely to look at. Nice patio area to eat outside. The bed was so comfortable too. Fully equipped kitchen. I felt really relaxed. I would love to go back as it’s only an hour away but felt like a holiday. The owner is lovely and so are the little dogs that come and say hello.
- Kelly (10/5): - Beautiful cottage so peaceful well equipped and maintained ,comfortable and relaxing
- Alison (10/5): - A little expensive ,especially as not VAT registered But everything you needed and very comfortable.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very peaceful tranquil place polite friendly owners and lovely surroundings.Lovely place to relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city. The only drawback was the the price of the accommodation.
- Kimberlee (10/5): Fantastic stay - Enjoyed my stay at the cottage, it was lovely and clean and so comfortable, lovely views and so relaxing, can’t wait to book here again, thank you to the owners who allowed me to check in early, would definitely recommend.
- malcolm (10/5): First visit, hopefully not the last. - I stayed at Little Rushbrook Cottages as a preferred alternative to a hotel when working in Shirley. I arrived in the evening to find the cottage nicely warmed up (it was cold out), immaculately clean and very well presented. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook, and had a fresh litre of milk in the fridge along with tea, coffee and sugar. Some breakfast foods (cereals, porridges and jams) were also provided. The bedroom was very comfortable, lots of storage to unpack your cases and plenty of sockets for the all important phone & tablet chargers. The en-suite shower room was immaculate, the water was hot and plenty of towels available, and a full set of toiletries if you have forgotten anything.
It's a quiet country village area, with some good restaurants nearby, and Christine that runs the cottages is very pleasant. The horses in the stables next door all add to it. There's ample parking, in fact the only down side was that when I looked at booking for the next visit, my dates were not available. I'll keep trying though.
- Graham (10/5): Home from Home! - Handy location for NEC/Birmingham/Solihull. It's got everything you get in a hotel without the hassle.10 out of 10.
- Lisa (10/5): Really great place! - Really great place, loved it! Clean, everything there that i needed, really comfortable bed. Thank you!
