- Kleber (8/5): Safe bet for a comfortable stay in SLC - Location was very convenient for me since I was attending a conference nearby. The room was comfortable, delivered what is expected for a chain hotel, nothing stands out. They had coffee and tea for free most of the time in the lobby, which was nice. No specific complaints but also nothing stands out to make it more recommendable than similar hotels.

The front desk staff were robotic and didn’t even know they had oversized parking in the back when we asked about it. They nickel and dime for everything and even though the room was for 3-4 people, there was no mirror by the desk where someone could put on makeup, so instead the bathroom gets hogged. The $15 breakfast was more minimal than what lower priced Marriott chains offer for free. I would not stay here again.

Me olvide un articulo personal (cargador de celular y camble) y pese a que estuve una semana en los alrededores, que llame por telefono, que envie mensajes y que hasta me acerque personalmente al front desk, cada vez que lo hacia era comenzar todo de nuevo y njnca me supieron decir si lo tenian o no. Siempre se hicieron los desentendidos y que me iban a llamar. Obvio, nunca lo hicieron, yo ya me fui de la zona y se quedaron con mis cosas. Muy muy mal.

- Lorraine (7/5): Close to the convention center and easy. - I was attending a convention, and it was very close to the convention center. The bed was ok, a little stiff, but fine. The bathroom was GREAT! Two head shower. I had the handicap accessible room, so for a short girl, everything was perfect. I also think that if I had to use a wheel chair the room was very large and easy to get around. I also really liked that the front desk had quick grab and go breakfasts of yogurt and fruit, which made it easy to get going in the morning. The only real drawback to the room was that it was on the 3rd floor above the bus stop, and it was very loud.

Rooms could use some warmth decorations ok.

- Carole0113 (10/5): A Pleasant Surprise - I was very impressed with the hotel, which I stayed at as part of a tour. The hotel looked new, but I don't know if it is. Everything was in working order, clean, and I appreciated the features such as a detachable shower head. The breakfast was not the usual fare, and quite good, and the free tapas in the evening were a nice plus. The breakfast included items for both breakfast and lunch, including fresh bread, real croissants, salami, cheese, fresh sliced prosciutto, and fresh fruit. There were also several options of dry cereal. Nothing was packaged like most hotel breakfasts. The free tapas in the evening were a little more disappointing. I couldn't cut the meatballs with a knife, let alone a fork, and the person sitting next to me said the potatoes were not good at all. The second day I had one of the toasts, and that was good. The staff was very friendly and very helpful.

This hotel delivers a modern and entirely upgraded experience for those used to staying in other Marriott brand hotels. Far enough from the center of town to avoid the bustle but close enough to easily walk to almost anything. Comfortable bed, great water pressure, very comfortable AC. On premise parking was safe and close. We tried the breakfast buffet on morning and it was excellent and worth the $15. The service from Carlos was superb. He made us feel like we were VIPs. Loved the restaurants (Carson Kitchen & Zest) and gelato shop right around the corner. Less impressed with the bars you have to pass coming and going from the property.
- Jason (6/5): Great hotel but not as promised. - The hotel was wonderful. However, I had contacted them prior to my stay and asked for a top-level room. The hotel responded and that a room had been reserved for me on the top level and that we were all set. This wasn't the case; the room wasn't reserved, and although we had a wonderful room, it wasn't what we had asked for and been promised.

- Yocasta (9/5): Superb - The location is excellent. everything is nearby, especially the convention center where the conference I attended was located. The bed of the room was very uncomfortable. it is time for a new mattress.

- Courtney (10/5): Will be back - Wonderful staff. They let us check in early. They also let our extended family park while they watched my daughter compete . Upon checkout we checked out the downstairs breakfast. It looked good but weren’t hungry. The staff gave my daughter some fruit, us coffee and some cookies. Room was a little dusty but overall a great stay.

Easy to eat at the hotel- breakfast food is very good and bar in the evening has good options to stay, My picky eater son enjoyed the food. But this hotel is so close to a big development of restaurants and shopping. Free bus shuttle to Park City and Canyons and Deer Valley. Across from a good Whole Foods, Walmart.

Jaelyn!!!! - I would like to openly express my sincere gratitude for the kindness of staff of reception of this hotel.I checked in late night but I was so stupid I did not realize that I had booked for next night: so no reservation was set for me. Miss Jaelyn. Reception Manager when I checked in was fantastic.Not only she assigneed me a room anyway but She helped a lot to cancell my reservation -made with Trip.Com and re issue another reservation for same night without any extra cost for me. Of course I do appreciate a lot her support and I care to thank her through this message. Also breakfast is super: it is European healthy breakfast ,with fruit salad, and many other heathy food,which in UA is an exception because all food here is normally quite fat . So greta staff and great breakfast rooms are super clean and nicely furnished. This is the hotel to stay if you come in SLC

Things I liked: walk in shower & modern bath, "hydration stations" on each floor with Sonic ice & water (bring your own water bottle or use their carafe), free parking & indoor garage (quick walk across the driveway) plus close outdoor parking, well appointed room, awesome lighting, clean, quiet - they must have insulated these rooms well, sweeper on the bottom of the door blocks out even more noise, smells good, lavender satchels you can take to your room (i did not partake). Cons - none!

- Laura (6/5): Staff seemed inexperienced - Hotel was clean and quiet with a good downtown location. Check in was awkward, as the employee seemed inexperienced and there was no one else helping out. Also, I was double charged for my room (prepaid on Hotels.com and then the hotel itself also billed my credit card that was only supposed to be for incidentals). In addition, I also had an unauthorized bar charge added to my bill, even though we paid for our drinks with cash, again making me question the abilities or honesty or staff. The error was corrected after a phone call, but I was not given the chance to speak to a supervisor.

They needed more staff at the front desk in daytime because the one guy was overwhelmed by all the people waiting, resulting in very long line.

- Valerie (10/5): Wonderful hotel experience in downtown SLC. - We stayed at the AC one night over Labor Day weekend. The clerk who checked us in was very friendly and had great recommendations for places to eat, get a latte, park, etc. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. The bar in the lobby had a small but varied menu of small plates, just what we needed for dinner after eating way too much at a late lunch. The bartender was friendly and made a delicious cocktail. I can't say enough about the breakfast--- best I have ever had a a hotel. The buffet held various meats, specialty breads, mini quiches, a variety of fresh fruit and more. The waiter offered to make me a latte, but they did not carry alternative milk products, so I had to pass. My only negative was the lighting in the bathroom--not conducive for women trying to put on makeup. Other than that minor concern, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again.
