Great location near the south pier and close to tram stop. Fully stocked bar with pool table and dartboard also available . Linda and Tony were very friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. Breakfasts are superb full English with toast, tea or coffee. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when next in Blackpool.

We couldn't fault anything and would definitely stay again if we return to Blackpool Thank you so much Linda & Tony we all had a lovely time xxx

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Whilst the hotel does not offer a lot of rooms, this is how Linda and Tony, the lovely owners, can offer a personal treatment, attention and chats - all of which were very good. All my requests or problems were addressed as soon as possible and for the best. Breakfasts were amazingly tasty and rich. Additionally, in my room there were a small refrigerator and a kettle, with tea, coffee, hot chocolate powder, sugar and milk. The room and all the public areas were very clean and tidy. A major plus for me is eco-friendliness - Towels and sheets are replaced only upon request. Otherwise, they are being arranged and made each day while the room is cleaned.

Linda had the perfect solution to our question ... the best way to get to Lytham Music Festival and back. By train! The station is a 2 min walk from Scala Hotel. We loved the Art Nouveau Decor. We weren't a fan of the beautiful clock in the entrance hall - through the night though! 🎧 The breakfast was fab. What a great idea to order on arrival. Everything perfectly cooked and served with a smile.

- Colin (10/5): Exceptional B&B with the kindest hosts!! - Best nights sleep I think I’ve ever had away from home. Linen was divine and the bed super comfortable. Had everything we could have needed and more. Loved the fridge being in the room. The location was fantastic. 2 minutes walk to the tram stop or bus stop and right beside the pleasure beach, but in such a quiet location. Very easy to find whether driving or using public transport. Loved that we had parking too. Will definitely be staying with Linda & Tony again. Such lovely welcoming hosts who couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast was exceptional. Kept us going until our evening meal. Noting at all to say that we didn’t like other than sad we were only there two nights.

They went above and beyond, and we aren't the easiest of guests. Great value for both the stay and the bar 🍸 Will definitely return here if Blackpool beckons us again.

You are made to feel at home immediately and Linda and Tony do all they can to make your stay brilliant. The kids loved the special hot chocolates in the room and we all loved the amazing breakfast. The hotel is very convenient for the attractions, 5 minutes from Pleasure Beach and 10 minutes walk from the water park but in a very quiet and safe street. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

There was some loud music (unsure of whether this was coming from the bar or one of the other rooms) until around 11/11:30pm. This wouldn't usually have bothered me however it did disturb my sleep and meant that I was tossing and turning until it stopped.

What’s not to - The Hotel is spotless with very comfy beds - essential after a day walking about. The breakfast is wonderful - cooked to your specific order and piping hotel and good quality products used. Linda and Tony are the perfect hosts. They really made us feel welcome and I’d highly recommend their hotel. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. You have everything you need - nice touches like bottled water in the fridge and biscuits for your tea, coffee or hot chocolate.

The breakfast was lovely lots of choice and even made breakfast for our 1 year old. Nothing was too much and they even remembered all our names. Thank you will definitely be back 😊

- Simon (10/5): Our heavenly Stay. - Fantastic hospitality. The room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. I loved the art decor style of the interior. Being able to park our car on the doorstep of the hotel was great and made taking our stuff in easy and stress free. I liked how we were asked what we would like for breakfast, which when we had the following morning was amazing. The shower was easy to use. We had been dancing all day, so the thick carpet felt lovely under our sore feet. A very comfortable and enjoyable experience. I can't think of anything I didn't like.

- Alex (10/5): Family holiday - Our little family stay was brilliant, we couldn’t have asked for anymore. Right from the start we were welcomed in and shown round. Room was perfect and very clean. The games room with pool and darts board went down very well with the family. Located in the middle of Blackpool everything was a walk away. We had such a lovley time and the whole family really enjoyed the stay. Thank you very much for having us.

The place was good for what I would say I have had some rather unpleasant stays in Blackpool, this was was not the case.

- Clare (10/5): Excellent hotel - We've just returned from a 1 night stay here with friends whilst visiting Lytham festival. The hotel is great, the hosts were amazing nothing was too much trouble and they were so friendly. The hotel is immaculate, very clean modern bathroom with travel size toiletries, lovely white fluffy towels. The breakfast was fantastic, you pre-order the night before. Everything was cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend staying here and you definitely stay again if in the area.

Hotel a 5 minute walk to the pleasure beach and rooms great. Tea & coffee facilities a bonus for me! Lovely full English breakfast! - Paul (9/5): Cozy and Friendly - Upon our arrival, the owners greeted us warmly and courteously. They provided a brief overview of the Scala Hotel and its history before asking our breakfast preferences to minimize waste, given the few guests during our stay. Our room was spacious and well-equipped with an ensuite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, biscuits, and a small fridge with complimentary water. The bed was comfortable, and the room was well-ventilated and at a suitable temperature. Downstairs, there is a bar, a pool room with darts, and a separate sun lounge. Breakfast was served promptly, with the hosts offering tea or coffee and a selection of cereals and snacks before the cooked meal. The cooked breakfast was made to our specifications, accompanied by complimentary toast. Overall, this is a great place to stay, conveniently located just a short walk from the Pleasure Beach and tram stops. We will definitely return in the future.

Linda and Tony has been the best hosts and their personal touch in everything makes the stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Booking.com not making it clear that onsite parking need to be reserved in advance and on first come first serve basis. Thanks to the hotel owners, management we were informed in advance and despite of no spaces available they helped us with parking. Thanks a lot Linda & Tony team.
- Dawn (10/5): Scala Hotel - The location was good it was very quiet away from all the noise, but if you wanted the night life it was a taxi ride or a walk away. The scala also has a bar which is lovely there's a sun room which you can sit in. It has a snooker table and a darts board. The breakfast is included in the price which was delicious a great start to the day.linda and Tony were perfect hosts very knowledgeable about what's on around the area wheres good to eat and where to go the bar at scala shuts at 11 so not too late very quiet and very clean hotel a lovely couple running a lovely hotel more of a homely feel than most hotels absolutely a hidden gem of a hotel we will definitely be going back to Blackpool and hopefully we will be staying with them 😀 There was nothing we didn't like it was all great
- Debbie (10/5): Linda and Tony so welcoming, great clean, comfortable and family friendly stay. - Bedroom for 2 adults and 3 children great idea rather than 2 separate bedrooms. Nice and clean just a few minutes from sea front. Friendly owners and couldn’t have done more for us. We stayed for our boys 10th birthday Linda and Tony put up balloons and banners and put out our cake on breakfast table to help make it special. Nothing perfect stay.
