I originally stayed at the Renaissance Hotel for just one night, but I ended up coming back because I enjoyed it so much — and that says it all. The hotel itself is great, but what truly makes this place special are the people working there. Every single employee was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making my stay perfect. A very special thank you to Wiwin at reception management, who made sure 100% that my stay was smooth, pleasant, and enjoyable from beginning to end. I’d also like to mention Fino from the restaurant team, who was always so kind and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. And a big thank you as well to Handa and Widia from Roosterfish Beach Club for adding even more positive energy to the experience. You can really feel that everyone puts their heart into their work here. I’ve stayed in many hotels, but this level of hospitality is something special. I will definitely be back — highly recommended!

From the very first day, he made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. Even though he is very young, he is exceptionally professional, open-minded, cultured, and genuinely passionate about his work. Yoga always seemed to know exactly what we needed before we even had to ask. His attention to detail, positive energy, and warm personality made every moment at the pool even more enjoyable. He is also a very sporty and active person, and you can truly feel how much passion he puts into everything he does. One of the absolute highlights of our trip was the bicycle tour we had the pleasure of doing with him. It was perfectly organized, exciting, fun, and such an authentic experience. Yoga made the entire tour entertaining with his great sense of humor, while also making everyone feel safe and included. It was one of the best experiences we had in Bali. People like Yoga are the reason guests want to come back. He is a real asset to the Renaissance Uluwatu team, and we sincerely hope he gets the recognition he deserves. The resort is super clean, the swimming pool is crystal clear, and all the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Rosa, the local specialist, for taking such great care of my daughter, and to Dayu from the kids club for being so kind and attentive. My daughter was literally crying when we left because she was sad she couldn’t see them again soon! Thank you for making our family trip so memorable. We hope to come back again soon!

Block 4 where i stayed on the 5th floor was opposite the pool and two restaurants and bar. Pool and bar area, large pool, with spa and kids pool. 10 out of 10 Food and cocktails 10 out of 10, i eat breakfast and dinner and had several cocktails all was beautiful Staff 10 out of 10. Cant do enough for you. Hard working and very professional Location not easy to get to supermarket, you must be quite fit or hire a driver for the day and get your supplies when your out and about Private drivers in Bali for the day/evening are approx 700k which is about £30 per day they will collect you when you wont to go out. They will take you where you want to go and bring you back when your ready. My driver worked 9/10 hours a day. He was not only my driver he was my tour guide and photographer too. Nothing is too much for the Balinese people. From this hotel your 30 mins from uluwatu temple 30 min from beach and culture Park allgreat to visit.

Die Zimmer, das Personal, das Essen allgemein, der Service, die Lage, die Aussicht und die Anlage, alles Top!! Das Frühstück war zwar sehr lecker, aber bei 5 Nächte Aufenthalt wird es irgendwann zu einseitig. Etwas mehr Flexibilität wäre noch mehr „Luxus“. Das Gym ist leider für eine Person die Kraftsöort betreibt zu wenig Geräte - es ist mehr für Leute die Ausdauer machen ausgelegt.

Double ikat restaurant have dinner there. Since the hotel is a distance from the beach, they have activities like cooking class, pottery, bike tours and the SPA!! They have a free shuttle to their beach club roosterfish. This is a family hotel and beach club (which I preferred) don’t expect party club like Finns. Nothing. Just a small warning my toilet did get clogged up when I used the tub and shower at the same time. The staff addressed it immediately though

Ridiculous. *An average dinner for two cost 1.2 million rupea 🤦 Water 💦 in the taps is akin to bore water. Don't drink it. In summary a great venue, with killer views and service delivery but expect to pay through the noise.

Fino consistently went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. His level of attentiveness, professionalism, and kindness was extraordinary from the very beginning. What impressed us most was how sincerely he cared about our wellbeing. When my husband became ill during our stay, Fino showed an incredible amount of compassion and concern. Without ever being asked, he regularly prepared fresh ginger tea for him and made sure he was doing okay. These thoughtful gestures meant so much to us and showed that his service comes from genuine care, not just professionalism. He was always highly attentive, reliable, and proactive. No matter how busy the restaurant was, Fino remained calm, friendly, and focused on every detail. He anticipated needs before we even had to ask and always made us feel valued as guests. - sung-hwan (8/5): 직원들 모두 매우 친절하고 조용한 리조트 - 조식이 풍성하고 맛있었다. 음식의 맛과 퀄리티 모두 훌륭했으며, 직원들이 매우 친절하고 상냥하였다. 비치프런트 리조트(Beachfront Resort) 아니지만, 해변으로 서틀이 운영되었고, 해변이 좋았다~~ (특히 해변에선 카바나 이용을 적극 추천함) 전반적으로 리조트가 매우 조용하였고, 고객층은 서양인들이 주로 많았다. 아주 특별했던점은 모든 직원이 매우매우 친절했다. 작은 불편함이 있었지만, TINA Director께서 매우 디테일하게 신경써주셨다. 너무너무 감사드린다. 식당 단가/메뉴/운영시간이 아쉽다. (While the food quality is good, the pricing structure appears less competitive within the local market.) (식당 2군데중, 조식을 함께하는 식당1곳을 제외하곤, Break Time이 있어 사용에 불편함이 있다. 휴양지에서 Break Time은 시간을 free하게 즐기는 사용자들에게 조금 불편할 수 있다) 아침조식 식당의 view가 아쉽다. 휴양지에서 느긋하게 조식을 느끼는 여유가 없다. 수영장 근처 Pop-up dining area 추가하면 좋을것 같다. (파빌리온, 캐노피, 텐트등 Temporary shaded setup, Cabana breakfast setup) 모든 직원이 매우 친절했다. 반면 리조트의 시설적인 아쉬움들이 있다. 리조트 시설 개선은 단기간에 어렵기에, 고객 만족도를 높이기 위해 complimentary 서비스 확대를하면 좋을것 같다.

Thank you so much for giving us such a wonderful experience. We were pleasantly surprised with a suite upgrade and simple birthday decorations for my sister — it was such a thoughtful gesture and truly made our trip special. The room was spacious and comfortable. Although the hotel is located a little farther from the busy areas, the breathtaking view and peaceful atmosphere made it absolutely worth it. The breakfast also had a wide variety of delicious options every morning. Most importantly, we really appreciated how friendly and welcoming all the staff members were, especially Friji and Jasmine. Their kindness and warm hospitality made our stay even more memorable. This is actually my first time leaving a review because this hotel genuinely left such a deep impression on me. Thank you again for helping us celebrate my sister’s birthday and creating such beautiful memories for our family. We would definitely love to come back again in the future!

The hospitality of all the staff is what draws me to the RenUlu. Navigator team Eugenia and Jasmine are so welcoming, hardworking, and provide the utmost service to make your stay enjoyable. I appreciate that they noted my preferences. Such a delight and authentic personality. They are one step ahead of what you need. Very proactive! The breakfast at ClayPot is the best in the world for me. I look forward to having my daily breakfast. Their Revitalize juice is ultimate healthy drink favorite! Excellent quality fruits such as dragon fruit, papaya, watermelon. Their homemade vegan muesli, chia pudding, and yogurts are not to miss. Chef Didi’s Avocado Toast is the best ever! Simple but nothing but delicious. Need to have it every morning! Can’t miss the pandan pancakes which pairs nicely with their homemade coffee ice cream. Shout out to all the staff at ClayPot. Everyone works hard to service guests and make breakfast an enjoyable experience. Most importantly, what is consistent with our stay is delicious, innovative, craveable dishes created by Chef Wisnu and team Chef Widi and Chef Didi! What makes it more satisfying is their warm generous hospitality. Double Ikat is must try! A satisfying authentic, unique Indonesian culinary experience. Best view of the sunset at RBar. Became a pre-dinner for us! My heart gets full and with happy tummy every time I stay here. ‘Til next time!

Deres pool, havde flere løse fliser ellers var der steder uden fliser :/ Der mangler detaljerede rengøring på værelset. Badeværelset og gulvet på værelset, er lavet ud af sten og fugerne er grønne og der ses grønt skidt. Aircondition lugter af mug, hvis du havde den meget koldt forsvandt lugten. Rengøring er ikke detaljeret nok.

Breakfast very good with many variety choices, please take their pig egg benedict. They have Potery class that you must try. One of the Renaissance hotels that we loved. Unlike most five-star properties in Uluwatu that sit dramatically on the sea cliffs, the Renaissance is set inland, and I wasn't sure it could compete on atmosphere. I was completely wrong. The moment we stepped into the lobby, the view took our breath away. The hotel carries a distinctly unique atmosphere — it evokes the cool, lush feeling of a highland resort, reminiscent of Lembang or Puncak in West Java, while still offering sweeping ocean views in the distance. It's a rare and refreshing combination that sets this property apart from anything else in Uluwatu. The staff throughout our stay were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful — the kind of hospitality that makes a good trip feel like a great one. Breakfast at Clay Craft Restaurant deserves a special mention — the spread is generous and the quality genuinely impressed us. A heartfelt thank-you to Mr. Janu, the chef, who went above and beyond by preparing a special chicken satay for us. It was absolutely delicious and truly memorable. Our Junior Suite was immaculate — spotlessly clean with a contemporary interior that felt fresh and elegant. The hillside and partial ocean views from the room were a lovely bonus. For those who want to get closer to the ocean, the hotel also has a beach club at the iconic Pandawa Beach, offering breathtaking direct views of the sea. It's the perfect complement to the resort's highland-like setting — you truly get the best of both worlds. Beyond the room and dining, the hotel offers a fun range of activities including clay sculpting workshops and bike tours, making it a great choice for couples or families looking for more than just a pool and beach. What truly sets the Renaissance Uluwatu apart is how much you get for what you pay. Our room was amazing and had everything we needed. The swimming pools were the highlight. One infinity pool is on the restaurant level with great views, and the other is right at the bottom — loved having both options. Staff are very friendly across the resort. One of the pool staff even let me try the scooter in the pool, which was such a fun touch. We also tried the 9-course omakase and had an amazing experience with both the chef and server. Personal, attentive, and the food was exceptional. We’d definitely come back. Thank you team!

The property itself is well thought out. Clean lines, modern design, and views that hit every time, especially at sunset. Rooms were spacious, quiet, and set up properly. Nothing felt cheap or overlooked. Food was consistent across the board, not just one decent option carrying the rest. Service at the restaurants matched the quality, which is rare. The pool, gym, and shared areas were all maintained well and never turned into chaos. This place gets the basics right and then executes the details. No friction, no wasted time, no gimmicks. Easy five stars.

- Amit (10/5): Spectacular and Stunning - Spectacularly situated on top of the hill, the hotel has a commanding view of the horizon. You are impressed the moment you come up the driveway and enter the lobby. Windy, breezy and a majestic 180 degree panorama greets you. Welcome drink check. Service with smile check. Insta worth pictures check! The porter whisks you away to your room when ready. We booked a junior suite. Great quality furnishing with plenty use of stone, marble and wood. Comfy beds. The dark tones of the room give a very classy feel. The facilities are amazing though we didn’t use most. Spectacular infinity pool, massive deck with variety of coves, gym, children’s play area (good for 8y and below), another second pool which we didn’t go to and finally their own private beach for which you use their shuttle service. We felt the frequency of shuttle could have been better. Massive breakfast buffet. Lots of options. We ate dinner at the same restaurant with live music. Delicious and generous portions. Service always remained perfect. In the evening they organised a free local cocktail in the R Bar. One of the best views to enjoy your sunset cocktail from. The location is away from the beach and markets. It’s great if you plan to spend all your time in the hotel. Getting out you need your own wheels or grab it. Saw a few order food via grab as eating at the property is expensive. I feel water should be provided free. Specially when you ask for regular free water. They don’t.
- Fearless39643938753 (10/5): Wedding Aniversary Moment - We really enjoyed staying at Renaissance Uluwatu, the service was excellent, the room was nice, the breakfast needs to be improved but it was okay, and I really liked the large swimming pool directly facing the wide view, Wiwin and the team helped us with things related to our wedding anniversary, oh yes there is one name of the Pool Keeper that I remember, namely Zidan, so alert and friendly, we will come back again.

The resort is about a 15-25 minute scooter ride to the Main Street of Uluwatu near the water, depending on traffic. But this was fine, considering how beautiful the stay is!!

I have to mention the infinity pool which was perfect for both a dip and a good swim. The food at breakfast was first class and the eggs were always piping hot. I used the gym twice and there is everything you need for a good workout. I loved the property. We were there during a particularly wet spell and the maintenance staff were instantly on the case where walls had suffered as a result of the constant bombardment from the rain.
