• vicki (8/5): A good overnight stay - The breakfast was superb, with lots of choices. We ate at the Inn the night before, and the food was of a high quality. The room itself was quite basic, but comfortable and clean. The area is quiet and welcoming.

What a treat to have a freshly cooked breakfast all 4 mornings. I stayed over the Easter weekend visiting friends in the village - although the pub was very busy with diners, the staff always had time to say hello and ask if everything was ok with my stay - excellent bar and a very good Melbec by the glass! Thank you Corners Inn I recommend you to anyone and will definitely stay again.

The included breakfast had plenty of choice, and was very well presented. All in all it was one of the nicest places we have stayed at in England, and good value too

• Sue (10/5): Thumbs up from me - A very cold and tired solo traveller welcomed a warm, clean and comfortable room with a large hot shower. The staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful in a very pleasant room. All in a a very nice stay.

This meant a disco so we could hear the base of the music in our room. Then after midnight the disco etc was loaded on to a van. So we were disturbed. Maybe whwn we booked in we should have been made aware. Generally though a good stay.

• Scott (2/5): Take headphones - Unfortunately, it was very noisy. They positioned outside seating area for drinks outside the Rooms. This went on till at least 11 o’clock. Then the room above me, the floor was very thin and all you could hear them is walking up and down and children crying. My breakfast was delivered the night before so as you can imagine the room was very hot and the food was not very nice when warm. Very disappointed to say the least

• Grahm (10/5): The Corners Inn. - Stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting a nearby motorcycle club gathering. Very good room with on suite bathroom. All very clean and comfortable. Detached from main public house so no noise. Room serviced daily. Excellent breakfast included. Staff were attentive and gave good service.

• Callum (10/5): - Wonderful room, very spacious and cool. Yes air conditioning goes a long way these days for the beginning of an English summer. Breakfast was also quite nice, it was freshly cooked and generous. If I’m ever headed down this way again, I’ll be sure to stay again.

Would definitely recommend as a base for travelling around the area visiting the any gardens, castles etc. Will definitely return again.

Food in the bar was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the fish & chips! Lovely choice of drinks and good food and wine! Twin room was perfect for our overnight stay & a great hearty breakfast!

The only downside was it was noisy from traffic on the nearby road at times during the night, and at one stage a vehicle very close to the room had it engine running for about five minutes, and at the time it wasn’t even daylight. We had dinner in the evening which was first class, and the staff were all friendly, helpful and professional.

• Peter (8/5): Kingsland and Corners Inn, a rural stay - Overall this was a very pleasing stay and reasonable value for money. staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a ground floor room bur didn't realize it would be part of the car park!! Probably our mistake. Breakfast and diner both very enjoyable Village church very interesting Little things would soon make this into an excellent result ie soap dish in the shower, a smaller bed would give more space generally in the room and maybe a local picture would give more charm. We will definately return to this venue.
