Que nos recibe en recepción muy linda, educada y disponible a nuestras necesidades, Rogelio que hace de todo un tipazo, nos consintieron en todo, la comida muy rica, tienen desayunos, comidas y cena, los cuartos muy amplios hermosos con jacuzzi, comedor, sala exterior, la vista maravillosa a la Laguna, muy limpio todo, tienen para todos los gustos, te proporcionan juegos de mesa, gimnasio al aire libre, incluyen kayaks nos metimos a la Laguna en ellos y muy divertido. Tienen servicio externo y llegó un barquito por nosotros ahí mismo en el muelle para el tour de recorrer la Laguna de los siete colores increíble. Todo vale la pena. Solo la llegada hablen por teléfono porque el GPS te manda por un camino horrible y así les explican que hay un segundo camino para llegar al hotel, igual es de terracería no está tan lindo pero si está mejor y más corto que el otro, municipio debe de arreglar, hay mucho hoteles hermosos por la zona. No se arrepentirán, definitivamente vuelvo a hospedarme ahí cuando regresemos, fuimos 6 adultos y todos opinamos lo mismo.
• Samy (4/5): Terrible - Ne correspond pas aux photos, odeur dégoût dans la chambre, eau jaune qui sort du robinet et de la douche, moisissure sur tout les rideaux, piscine non traiter sans filtres, équipement de muscu à l extérieur rouille, bref nous avions booker deux nuit nous sommes partis après une nuit. L équipe sur place est gentille et serviables ils font de leur mieux mais l’hôtel est juste vétuste et ce n est pas possible de proposer ce type de location et surtout à ce prix. Énorme déception, encore une fois le personnel est serviable mais ça ne rattrape pas le hygiène.

Internet signal is not so good so bring a book. Bring water and other basic supplies like drugs because there is no stores near, although there is a restaurant with tasty options and the town is at 20 minutes. Fully recommended.

• Manuel (6/5): - This is a great off the beaten path place to stay at and not leave. The dirt road is horrible and the location is confusing to find. The price is high because some room conditions, a/c, toilets, etc. are in disrepair and not to par with the price point.

• Angiedy (2/5): - Al llegar estaban comiendo en la oficina llena de moscas, la piscina tenía un mal olor y verde por la falta de mantenimiento. El cuarto tenía un jacuzzi el cual no funcionaba. La habitación estaba sucia, llena de telarañas y polvo. Decía q incluía desayuno y solo me indicaron q podía escoger frutas, jugo o café pero no ambas. La parte del gimnasio se veía muy mal estado. No tenía en el restaurante comida suficiente para 4 personas pq así me lo indicaron.

• Alejandra (6/5): - The place is beautiful, clean and new, their people try their best, but, they don't have internet connection, (I am a nature lover but I work while I travel) no tv, no way to communicate with the front desk (they don't have front desk). The hotel is far from town, the entrance to the hotel is a bad terrace. I recommended to drive a Jeep or a pic up truck, small vehicles have a hard time.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Pesima experiencia - Terrible experiencia!!! Llegamos y no habia nadie en recepción. No tienen personal para bajar y subir maletas. Llegamos y nuestras habitaciones no estaban lista y ya eran las 4 pm. El aire acondicionado no servía en las 2 habitaciones. Pedi habitaciones dobles, eramos 6 personas, me dieron habitaciones con solo 1 cama king, siendo q tenian una habitacion doble diaponible, dandome la excusa de q era de otro precio, cuando mi reservacion dice habitaciones dobles con vista a la laguna. La alberca no funcionaba, "tenia tratamiento" en plena temporada alta. No ponen ni jabon o shampoo en los baños. En mi habitación la mesa y sillas estaban infestadas de termitas, falta mantenimiento. Me bonificaron $400 en el desayuno por la falta de aire acondicionado. Para colmo el camino para llegar esta terrible y la señal ni se diga ni para cobrar con tarjeta tienen señal. Lo unico bueno es q esta frente a la laguna.

Un concours de circonstances certainement. Nous avons dû payer un supplément pour notre chambre. Nous sommes un peu déçus de notre expérience. Merci à José le Barman qui a égayé notre moment. Attention, la restauration ferme assez tôt, et la route est difficilement praticable si vous souhaitez aller manger à l'exterieur de l'hôtel, il faut juste le prévoir.

• soy_yoli (2/5): Too far from town. Hard to find - Pros Beautiful view, kayaks free to use. Small newly built detached compounds. Out door gym Cons Far from town on a bumpy dirt road. You need SUV. No fridge, no microwave, no tv, no wifi, no safe or place to hang clothes, Kitchen is far from the restaurant. It is not stocked. The employees make the best of what they they have. Takes 15 min for a cup of hot water for tea and 20+ for a cup of coffee. Pool dirty asked why they dont clean it. Employee said the pump was broken. We then tried to fill the large size tub in the room only a drizzle of water comes out. asked if it could be fixed. They said there was a water shortage. No hot water for shower. Had to ask to turn on water heater. Dont like giving bad reviews but we should have the basics for the money we paid for. Luckily we only stayed here 2 days.
• Angelica (6/5): - Cabin was nice and clean. Hot water had to turned on and 1 of the air conditioner wasnt working( fixed next day). Quiet outside clean and on lagoon. Pool was filthy has not been maintained ( broken pump). Road to get there is a dirt bumpy road about 1/2 mile off main road. Need a SUV or 4X4. Staff were nice and tried to make the best of it. Management lacking maintenance.about 20 minutes from town of bacalar.

• Daniel (8/5): - Nice little hotel but could do with a bit of work. Swimming pool was more like a pond (lots of leaves and dead bugs) and the Wi-Fi was terrible. Also the road (dirt track with scattered rocks) to the hotel could easily ruin a car. Apart from that the staff were friendly and very helpful. The restaurant wasn’t bad though it closed at 8pm. Location was just about the right distance from the main town.
• Eduardo (10/5): - Viajamos con familia, esposa e hijos de19 y 17. Un lugar espectacular. La laguna está ahí mismo y nos tocó una habitación con vista directa. Es tan pacifico que cualquiera encuentra su inspiración. El personal extremadamente amable. Buena cocina, buenos servicios, son muy amplias las villas. Hicimos kayak, nadamos en la laguna, nos sentamos en la choza que está sobre la laguna, unas fantásticas vacaciones.
• Udi (8/5): Wonderful secluded stay - Getting to the hotel requires a high clearly vehicle. Difficult to get to. Hotel is small, quaint and quiet, which we like. Staff was extremely friendly and lovely. Biggest problem is lack of internet.

• Cruz margely (2/5): Mentirosos - le This place would be nice if they fix the roads, clean the Pool, if there food was properly made, and if the manager when saying that he will return your money keeps his word. I booked this hotel for two nights thinking that it was in a nice area in Bacalar. As arriving the road to get there was rusty. If you are going make sure you rent a truck not a sedan. The Pool there was dead insects and it looked dirty. Upon arrival they gave us the keys to the room. The rooms are nice the place is cute but it’s more for a honeymoon. No tv no wifi. 20 min drive from downtown Bacalar. The food is expensive not worth it. You can go to Bacalar downtown and get good quality food with less the price. I had booked to nights but after staying one night my dad and I decided not to stay another night because it was so hard to come back and forth to the hotel and we couldn’t even enjoy the Pool because of the status of it. I talked to who ever was in charge explaining the situation and he seemed to understand. Then he said that they will return my money. Just after talking to hotel agency they told me that they where not successful to communicate with them and that they will send them an email. After waiting for a response they said that Bacalar 777 hotel denied the money back. If they didn’t want to then why say you will. And please change the advertisement picture they are not how it actually looks. And it’s overpriced super overpriced. You can find something cheaper in downtown Bacalar.
• Manuel (10/5): Excelente - El hotel es mejor que en la fotos, las habitaciones grandes, espaciosas y muy bonitas. Es un hotel muy cómodo con alberca, temzcal, gimnasio, muelle, restaurante, estacionamiento privado y todo lo necesario para tener una estancia muy agradable y cómoda. Mi hija tuvo un accidente y el equipo se volcó en ayudarme y solucionar la situación (ajena al hotel), por lo que estaré siempre agradecida. Sin duda volveremos, es un gran lugar.

• Ariadna (8/5): - En general es un hotel muy bonito, las instalaciones son limpias y espaciosas. Cuenta con algunas amenidades, a/c, toallas y los accesos son fáciles dentro del hotel. Hay personal amable y algunos no tanto. Nos encanto qué hay un gym al aire libre, equipo gratis para actividades en la Laguna y que el desayuno viene incluido. Nos decepcionó mucho el precio, es muy caro para lo que ofrecen, ya que son tacaños cuando solicitas algo. El desayuno es básico, pero no te ofrecen tortillas, salsas, ni sal y las pociones son pequeñas. Se nos acabó el papel de baño y nos tardaron en dar otro, tampoco había jabón para manos. Recomendamos preguntar por todo ya que en el hotel no te ofrecen casi nada. Nosotros supimos del equipo gratis al leerlo en otra publicación. Llegar es complicado y no hay señalamientos. Ayuda mucho poner como ruta Hotel Aurea, es el mejor camino y te evitas mucha terracería.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Great modern units! Very spaced out. Everyone was friendly. We loved using the kayaks and the hot stone sauna. Only suggestion would be to switch out the ground tubs in the rooms for hot tubs or jacuzzi. The tubs would not fill. But excellent stay and would recommend!
• smandg (10/5): The best hotel in mexico. - The menger lenny and luis very nice and very kind. Lots of aquatic activites:water skiing, kayaking, tubing and more. Specacular views and delicious food. Varmly recommended . Stunning boutique hotel.
• solimolko (4/5): Bad and not worth the price. There are better options - Basics are not settled: check in is a mess (hotel was empty and they couldn't check my family in before 3 pm claiming hotel was full), garbage is burnt just next to the rooms (when complaining about it they offered a bottle of wine for the inconvenience... WHAAT?? Wine in exchange of my health?? ), showers are next to toilets (you can imagine WC end up soaked after showering); drain in bathrooms smell really bad ; pool is dirty; food is expensive and meh (we ate everyday out); it's very far from Bacalar center (costs $10 dlls per trip just to get there). The owner was in the hotel and it became evident that his comfort was much more important vs guests (i.e. the little to no wifi was disconnected from common areas and put into his room). Staff is amateur and really poorly managed, they have good intentions but can't compensate vs owner prioritie's and unexperienced in the hotel business (we heard him talking poorly about his staff in front of the guests). We won't go back there! Prices are double vs other hotels and it is definitely NOT worth the cost.
• lapommep (4/5): Five star unworthy and far below standard! - When you finally, after a 10 minute drive on a putt-hole filled, bumpy road reach the property, you are greeted by an amazing view on Lagoon Bacalar. The neatly designed lay-out of the hotel with its weirdly shaped, put privacy-improving sit/swimming-pool, of which only one of the two Jacuzzis functions, gives you a perfect hide-away to relax, weren't it for the bad service and underwhelming amenities. Even though they offer free use of their kayaks and you can rest idyllically in one of the hammocks, you are left wanting for some basic amenities, such as a fridge, safe, bin or some form of steady internet connection, even though advertised. The five-star unworthy service drastically lowers the quality of your stay. Even though you could start the day with an 8 a.m. breakfast, the waiter only arrives around 8.15, after which he will start to clean the already occupied tables still dirty from the night before. Following, it will take 10 minutes to receive some kind of attention and around 8.40 you might have your first coffee and if you are lucky something to eat. This anti-service orientation is the general trend throughout the day, i.e.: staff installing a shelf during breakfast, staff watching movies in the bar on max volume, ... When you finally reach check-out, you might be faced with surplus and even fraudulent costs; After our first breakfast we signed a bill stating all costs were included, only to find that 380 pessos were added onto this previously signed bill! To summarize, this is a beautifully built hotel with a tale-like view but this is definitely NOT a five-star hotel.
• Arpaja (8/5): Nice environment - The road to the hotel is difficult but worthwile. The place is astonishing, directly at the lake, with kayaks, and a pier to jump right into the lake. Wifi is bad, does hardly work. The restaurant closes at 8pm and is average, but we did not want to drive in the dark back from town. Staff is scarce if you need something, although friendly when you catch them. Overall oke because of accomodation and location.
• tampico1 (6/5): Bacalar should definitely be in everyone’s bucket list - I am not sure I would return to 777 hotel! The place is located in a breathtaking place in the 57+ kilometers of the most beautiful lake in the world. Rooms, new but badly designed the bathroom uncomfortable, had to request toilet paper, soap, no place to hang clothes, lots of space wasted but the basics are missing to make a stay comfortable. Restaurant good, kitchen to far from the dining room food gets cold. Staff services ok. Nice outdoor gym. Love the hammocks on the water! Difficult to say if the pluses offset the minuses. Very little effort is required from the administrators to make the stay memorable.
• 8wojciechs (8/5): Great stay! - Wonderful, quiet, peaceful hotel next to the most georgous lagoon :) simple yet very tasty food, great relaxed atmosphere. The only minus - bathrooms are not functional. Last couple kilometers - very rough road!

Clearly not quite finished but with lots of potential . Eager to please staff who cobbled together a more than adequate dinner .Breakfast prepared by chef and well up to standard Magnificient setting on the banks of Lake Bacalar .Spectacular rooms , well equipped with beautiful linen , luxury bathroom sundries , nice pool , more than offset the lack of finishing touches .
