- Norma (2/5): Very poor. - Unfortunately the double bed was unable to be slept in DUE to FLEA infestation,which I might add was not from my puppy. We attempted to inform reception at 8.30pm by self, then my daughter. Phoned at 8.45pm but no answer. The hours on front door clearly stated 8am to 10pm. I left a note on our exit at 6.45am as my daughter and I ended up top and tailing in single bed making it a very uncomfortable night as we are both adults. On contacting the owners they were not very understanding and believe I transported the fleas. My puppy does not have fleas and is crated. The fleas have been there sometime. We had only been in the approximately 2hours. Very poor and it cost me $37 for my dog, for the night. No refund offered. Would never recommend staying there. At least offer part of a refund for the experience.

- Michelle (5/5): Poor customer service and unexpected fees on check-in will ensure I never stay here again. - The motel room was comfortable and clean. Enough room for a night's stay. Plenty of open space to walk the dog away from the units. It's on the main road so is convenient for travellers. The staff member who checked me in gave the worst customer service I've ever received. She had a dog in the next room which constantly barked. She kept cutting me off to yell at it. Even though I prepaid a pet-friendly room for myself and my dog, she told me I had to pay an additional fee if my dog was going to sleep in the room and not in my car. I'd just driven 10 hours and didn't have it in me to question that, and I felt from her attitude it wouldn't get me anywhere. I want to hope that she was just having a bad day, but it was enough for me to never stay here again.

- Andrew (6/5): Short trip into town. Motel staff know the local eateries - The motel is located on the south side of Coonabarabran, so we can get a prompt start when we are heading home. Staff recommended a local restaurant which provided great takeaway food. We stay here because they are pet friendly.

Staff was okay……. I don’t like to be rude so that’s all I’ll say.. location of the motel itself was average. Shower was bad… very bad…

The grounds were poorly maintained with pot holes in driveways. The whole property looks run down. Motel section was quite old with old style air conditioning units (which did work satisfactorily in the hot conditions)

- Marie (1/5): Cabin 3…if you are allocated cabin 3…..drive on. - My first negative review for any stay. 😢 I was brought up, if you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything at all, so I’ll say no more. I’m very appreciative and tolerant of accommodation places and can usually find a positive, however…..this property did not.
