- Mas (9/5): Quiet, comfortable room with everything you need. - Fabulous location, only a few minutes’ walk to Golders Green station. Room was very quiet with a large window, a TV, a safety box and a fridge. Very comfortable. One minor point is that the bathroom/toilet was tiny.

I also want to compliment the housekeepers who were incredibly kind and helpful. The room was very clean and in good condition for the price you pay. Underground station just 10 minutes away and very quiet/safe area. Nothing to add.

Just a few stops from the total Free hospital, where accommodation is significantly higher priced. Will happily return for a trip to London in general. Only improvement i could think of would be to have a microwave to be able to heat/reheat food...but understand if that is not considered desirable by the owner.

- Neil (5/5): Cheap to stay but customer service is missing. Bedroom is of a high standard. - High quality fittings in the bedroom and a good bed. Ensuite shower room was very small. Parking at the front was full up already and only a few cars can park there. Entry is stressful with a code on the door to the hotel. The coffee machine did not work which was a disaster as the hotel does not offer breakfast. We came and went without meeting any staff which was ok but strange. The price was low so these problems are to be expected.

- David (10/5): Perfect for an overnight visit to Camden - The location (3 mins walk from Northern Tube line) and value of this guest house are exceptional. It was clean and quiet, we felt safe and it was ideal for an overnight stay (following a gig in Camden). Phil gave us plenty of information about access ahead of our visit and, for the price (£68 for a large double), Martel exceeded our expectations. Would definitely recommend to others and will use if we visit London again soon. Thank you!

The house and room were warm and comfortable and spotlessly clean with clean towels every day and tea and coffee making facilities The houskeeper was very friendly and helpful and I'm looking forward to my next visit. . - Ján (8/5): I will come back! - Great safe location! Instructions from Phil were clear. Very comfy bed and our towels were changed! Also 5-6 mins to Golders Green tube / bus station - in 25 mins you are in city centre and also in around 35/40 mins in Luton airport.
- Joanne (10/5): - Fabulous break away, although we stayed for 1 night this time, we will definitely stay here again, hopefully for a few more days. Superb, comfy and clean base for the city, as only a 5 minute walk to Golders green tube station and a further 20 minutes into the the centre by tube, in a quite and safe neighbourhood, couldn't fault it. Phil was exceptionally helpful, very accommodating and attentive in regards to parking and check in times. Will be back soon!

- CRUZ (8/5): Very convenient for a vist to London. - I loved the location of the guest house . It is very close to the tube station and there was ample parking . The communication from the host was great and very clear. The room had a lot of amenities and clearly the hosts have done their best to be as helpful as possible. The bed linen was clean and nice. My room was very very small. The decor was dated and the bathroom was functional but not very nice. It wont put me off as the pros vastly outweigh the cons. Maybe next time I will get a larger room. I would be prepared to pay more for a nicer room in this property.

- Vanessa (9/5): Sia per me che per le mie compagne di viaggio è stato uno splendido soggiorno. - La struttura, pur trovandosi in una zona non centrale, è vicina alla stazione della underground ed è vicina alla fermata del pullman da e per Luton airport. Intorno ci sono negozi per la colazione, supermercati e molto altro per pasti veloci o più lunghi. Il parco di Hampstead non è molto lontano ed è raggiungibile a piedi. La nostra camera era spaziosa, pulita e profumata, con letti comodi. Il vicinato silenzioso e tranquillo. Phil è molto disponibile e raggiungibile telefonicamente. Ci tornerò!

Douchen in de badkuip, warmwater voorziening luidruchtig en niet constant. Kamer was erg klein, goed om te slapen maar weinig beweegruimte.

The toilet / shower space is small but was fine for me. There is a shower curtain to pull around when taking a shower. The single room is small but has everything you might need including fridge, safe, wardrobe etc. The instructions and communication was great.

- Silvia (10/5): Comfortable and cozy place - A large and comfortable room. A wide bed, a comfortable mattress. Very clean, welcoming and warm. The staff was helpful and the owner was responsive and engaged. The room was cleaned every day, coffee capsules were refilled for the coffee machine and the beds were made. The bathroom was small but very comfortable, well maintained. All necessary toiletries were provided - shampoo, shower gel, soap. Thanks to the Martel team, our stay in London was wonderful. The sink located inside the bedroom creates a slight inconvenience. But we really have no complaints.

Ruhige Lage, gut geschlafen, nettes Ambiente. Das Bad ist sehr klein, nach dem Duschen ist alles nass. Die Dusche ist gewöhnungsbedürftig: man kann die Temperatur einstellen, aber nicht die Stärke. Ein schwacher Strahl, sehr öko, aber etwas unbequem.

Die Aussicht auf die ca. 1,5 Meter entfernte gegenüberliegende Hauswand. Bad sehr klein, aber hat alles gut funktioniert. Schade auch, dass kein Personal für Fragen im Haus war.

- Will (9/5): A great value and a wonderful refuge from busy London chaos. - the room was wonderful for sleeping because it is very quiet and dark. The shower and bathing area work great. The TV, morning coffee tray, desk area, front windows, all worked great. a couple small things... I would have liked a lightweight blanket, the heavy comforter made me too warm, a wash cloth (small towel) would have been nice to have, I notice the lock on the front door doesn't have a positive latch and so could be easily forced open.

- Fabio (8/5): - Consiglio vivamente questa guest house a chi arriva in auto a Londra. E' dotata di un parcheggio proprio e si trova a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione di metropolitana e autobus di Golders Green e in 40 minuti sei in pieno centro. Abbiamo preso quasi sempre un autobus a due piani e ci siamo goduti il giro turistico della città. Inoltre Golders Green è un quartiere vivo, pieno di ottimi ristoranti e di servizi. La guest house è in una zona tranquilla (abbiamo visto una volpe!), la stanza pulita e il letto alto ma comodo. il bagno era piccolissimo e senza gradino fra doccia e resto del bagno. Solo per questo tolgo un punto alla valutazione, che resta per me molto positiva
- Leanne Gowler (8/5): Lovely place to stay - The guest house was easy to find and the instructions left by the host were clear and concise. The property itself is quite lovely. Nicely decorated. The double room was very spacious and had a very large comfortable bed. The room was clean. Tea and coffee-making facilities are available. A bottle of water is provided for each guest. Safe is also available. I did not use the shower so I cannot comment but the bath was as expected. The street is also very quiet and I didn't hear anything from the neighboring guests. This is a very minor issue. Cosmetically the rooms appear a little worn. The bath sides had some ingrained mould present and the taps looked a bit rusty. This however does not affect the stay overall. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

- Vera (3/5): - The location was perfect The cleaner left the room unlocked after cleaning. There was only water for the first couple days I was there. The rest of my stay there was no bottle water. There was no tea bags for two days either
