- Helen (10/5): Very comfortable excellent room and facilities and exceptional staff. - Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful Not being able to use the Calile App because I booked through booking.com. If I had know this were to be the case I would have booked directly with the Calile
Also as our room was directly adjacent to a venue for weddings we did find it quite obtrusive.

- Prairie2lotus (6/5): Just all hype. - Just an average hotel. My room was dark and the decor is underwhelming and dated. Beige tile with seafoam green walls. Feels like you’re sleeping in an operating room. The shower has no door which I hate. Lets all the steam out into the main area.
- Geena (10/5): - Location, decor Nothing

- nathrichm0nd (10/5): Amazing hotel...keeps us coming back every time! - Everything about The Calile is amazing - from the warm and welcoming staff to the wonderful facilities and exquisite food and beverage offerings. We have hosted our flagship event here for many years and it is the quality of this hotel and its staff that keep us coming year on year. Thank you!
- Jeane (10/5): -
- Krishneel (10/5): Lovely hotel in a great location - Great location! Staff were very attentive and helped throughout my stay. Room was clean and had all the amenities needed Needs some better soundproofing! Feels like people are inside your room when talking outside, can be an issue when the room is close to the lift

- Tracey Lee (9/5): Fabulous decor prefect location - The location is fabulous, great clothing and food choices
The room was small but the bed was comfortable and good shower and bathroom
Lovely architecture, clean lines , minimalist . Very friendly staff When we arrived we had to wait for room and wanted to coffee in the reception area but we're not allowed to have a drink there which is pretty strange for a hotel. The bar/restaurant was serving lunch and noisy .
Also don't like it when hotels don't automatically include breakfast in their rates , never makes sense
- stephanevera2026 (6/5): staying at Calile - overall..my recomendation.. for such standard hotel 5 stars... you should pay more attention on your guest ..... and be more close to their needs and request
- 2206Sharon (4/5): Huge Disappointment. - Very disappointed with recent stay at The Calile Hotel - did not meet expectations at all.
Requested a quiet room with City View. Had worst 3 nights sleep ever at any hotel - noisier than rooms in New York, Paris, London, Rome, Singapore. Constant sounds of revved cars driving around the block. Perhaps a mistake to ask for City View room but thought it would be quieter than a room overlooking the pool. When noise levels mentioned to reception on checkout told they would make a note on profile to put in a quiet room next time - this was requested on booking - won't be a next time!
Room service was quite poor also. Day 2 of stay room not serviced until well after 2.00pm. Day 3 of stay no used bathroom products or tea/coffee supplies restocked.
Would definitely not stay again or recommend

Don’t even think of staying anywhere else. Movie stars at every turn, pool the perfect temperature and location, high end shops abound, perfectly trained Staff. Wish I could move in.
- Winnie Sze Man (9/5): - Location Room is a bit too dark
- issyzeneli4 (10/5): Outstanding - Everytime I visit the experience is truly outstanding. I can’t endorse it enough. Their level of customer service should be the benchmark.

- MlbTraveller2018 (10/5): Simply fabulous! - This was our first stay and hopefully not our last. We had two nights for a birthday celebration. We really love this hotel. Large, spacious, modern and sensibly styled room with comfortable bed, good pillows and air conditioning. Lots of natural light with a view of the city. The hotel has a very European feel about it. We loved Hellenika’s restaurant for breakfast and snacks & cocktails by the pool. If this hotel was ‘adults only’, it would be perfect. It is quite family orientated which is fine but we did find it a bit irritating laying by the pool and having kids jump, splash and make noise all day long with parents too focused on sunning themselves and sipping cocktails rather than look after their children. It did get a little tiring. The pool is well managed but there are limited beds so it can be a challenge to find somewhere so lay down. We waited for about 30 minutes on both days to find somewhere which was a little frustrating. Families spread out and do take quite a lot of the space. Nonetheless, this hotel really sets a high standard and is exceptional. We opted to pay $40 a day and park under the building. Staff throughout the hotel are friendly, helpful and warm. The hotel is perfectly located with lots of shops and other restaurants located close by. We will definately be back!
- marysO1831HW (10/5): An exceptional stay - Every detail was thoughtfully considered. The rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed with little touches that made our stay truly special. From luxurious beds with pillow menus and motorised block-out blinds to beautiful linen robes, plush towels and filtered water stations.
The standout was the poolside experience which was vibrant, relaxed and elevated by live DJs, creating a space that was hard to leave.
The staff were warm and welcoming and on the rare occasion we stepped outside the hotel, the added bonus of discounts at the surrounding stores in the precinct was a thoughtful inclusion.
It’s rare to find a place where every element feels so well considered.
- amandal162026 (10/5): I’ll always come back here - The Calile never misses. Every stay is consistently exceptional. Whether it’s a girls’ trip, a couples getaway or a solo reset, every detail feels thoughtfully considered, with staff who are warm, attentive and accommodating
- Renee (7/5): Nice to try, falling short in basic areas. - Aesthetically the property looks lovely. Ammenities are nice. But they fell short in many areas. No availability at the pool. By 8am everyday, every lounger by the pool was already taken, it was impossible to get a spot by the pool at any other time. Slow service at breakfast, 40 minute wait for food after you ordered it, although it was good. Poor make up of rooms daily, shower ammenities weren’t replaced, toilet paper wasn’t replaced, face clothes weren’t replaced. Beds were pulled up and not properly made. The bathroom toilets at Hellenika were in need of a clean, around the back of the toilet was really dirty, built up grime.
Check in is 2pm but we had to wait until 2:25pm for our room as it wasn’t ready.
Rooms were made up or cleaned until 3:30pm each day which was just too late in the day.
For the price you’d expect a complimentary bottle of water in the room you can refill, there was none.
Nice so try but wouldn’t go back.
- 726graham (10/5): Feels like an Exotic overseas destination. Yet located in Brisbane Australia - A world class hotel with outstandiing staff, location, facilities, style and gorgeous architectural features. Conveniently located in one of Brisbane's most desired locations Fortitude Valley.
- nasser (10/5): -
- Nicole (10/5): Amazing. - Wonderful vibe. Would recommend to anyone. The pool is wow. I felt invisible. Waited a long time to be greeted each morning and given a table for breakfast. Lobby bar. They then forgot to take my order. I didn’t complain but it gave me the ick.
- Sven (3/5): Vomit in the kitchenette cabinet - Every Easter our family visits the Calile for a staycation. Pool is great. Food is great. Service is exceptional The holidaymakers prior to us must have had a big night and vomited inside the kitchenette cabinet. The room smelled of vomit. The staff had to come in on both nights to spray the room and clean the cabinet. They did it promptly on both occasions, but still didn't make for a pleasant stay.
- SJRCalile (6/5): Vomit in the kitchenette cabinet - The holidaymakers prior to us must have had a big night and vomited inside the kitchenette cabinet. The room smelled of vomit. The staff had to come in on both nights to spray the room and clean the cabinet. They did it promptly on both occasions, but still didn't make for a pleasant stay.
- Cassandra (10/5): -

- donquart (10/5): Calile Hotel Brisbane - A boutique hotel centrally located on James street in Fortitude Valley QLD
Surrounded by fabulous shops and restaurants
offering the best amenities with luxurious comfort and well thought our plans throughout entire hotel.
An array of restaurants for every taste awaits and the pool side vibe is amazing .
all of the Callile staff are friendly and courteous and anticipate your every need . I highly recommend staying here .
- Alice (8/5): -
- Ankiki13 (10/5): One night stay - first time at the hotel - The hotel was incredible, from the room to the facilities, everything felt like a boutique elevated experience. The gym is one of the best hotel gym's I've been to. The pool was incredible too with day beds on either sides, which means you can choose through the day to be in the sun or not. I had breakfast poolside along with a coconut, which was really all delicious. The only feedback I would give, was for in-room dining. I ordered dinner and it was really bland - which was the only disappointment in my whole stay. Apart from that, the stay was 10/10, and the entire staff was really helpful, approachable and kind. Would definitely be back!
- Rachel (9/5): Great stay in Fortitude Valley - Location was great, plenty of parking, good area around the pool. QR code worked well for food and drinks which were served promptly around the pool area. Excellent mini bar in room. Bathroom amenities are a bit lacking; there is no refilling of used items the next day. Service at Hellenika for breakfast was terrible; I never saw the second coffee, the eggs were poorly cooked, and the overall service was not good.
- Shinnie (10/5): A wonderful experience I’ll never forget! - Obsessed with this place, can’t wait to come back for a stay cay! 🤩 Nothing to not like, place is perfect!!
- Dr Chris (10/5): -
- Michaela (10/5): An incredible hotel, great location, the most amazing food and service, and stunning pool! - Our breakfast and lunches were incredible, all food ordered was delicious in fact! all wait, pool and service staff support smiley and warm and accommodating. Everything was insanely good to be honest!! If I had to nitpick, our only issue was that for such a high number of guests, every time we visited the gym, 3 out of 3 treadmills were in use already. with so many guests using the gym, you could consider adding an extra couple of tread mills (all the bikes were free, as no one wants to use them...). But this didn't impact from our perfect stay.
- Matilde (10/5): -
- 411robynr (10/5): The Calile is exceptional - Everything is thought of for you at this hotel. You can simply relax by the pool and order your drinks and food to your lounger or you can get out there and shop until you drop. Beautiful fashion boutiques nearby, cafes and restaurants with yummy offerings and a market to buy fresh produce if you prefer. The Calile does it all so well starting with your front desk experience and ending with the refreshing bottle of water offered as you depart. The rooms are roomy and the marble to die for. There are black out blinds if you wish to sleep in but we preferred to get out there early and enjoy a quiet breakfast by the pool before the rush started. It is our favourite place to stay in Brisbane.
- Dominique (10/5): -
- Deb (10/5): -
- nigelkh (10/5): Resort experience in the city. - We’ve stayed at the Calile a few times now, both as a couple and with family, and it’s always a great experience. You can drop your bags and settle in for a few days without needing to leave the precinct, with some of the best restaurants and shopping right at your doorstep.
- meghan (8/5): - Poolside food was the only letdown this stay, for the price was expecting the usual exceptional food!
Staff always beautiful and accommodating and in room dining very officiant! Location, facilities and staff!
- Sacha (9/5): Great stay mostly - Service was excellent, location was wonderful, design is always great. Bed was too soft.
- Robyn (10/5): - Hotel design, pool area and general vibe is excellent Service at the Greek restaurant could have been better
- PEPITA (10/5): -
- Rebecca (10/5): -
- John (10/5): Amazing - The service was great from front desk to the cleaners to the car greeting area everyone went above and beyond.
- Clare (9/5): -
- Vanessa (10/5): -
- Molly (10/5): - Absolutely stunning. The facilities and staff were both amazing. Cannot wait to visit again
- Adrian (8/5): Awesome hotel, best location and friendly staff. Will be back! - Great location, well run hotel with friendly staff and great amenities with an awesome gym! Seems that booking.com are allocated the worst rooms in the hotel. The room given to me was 415 at the very end of the hotel with constant noise during the night which was most disconcerting for a decent night’s sleep.
- Deanne (Dhyana) (10/5): Super enjoyable! We loved the Eco luxe style 💓 - The pool was beautiful, staff were wonderful, we loved the decor too! No
- Kerrie (8/5): -
- jandemorgan (8/5): Underwhelming over priced - Generally we had a pleasant stay and the hotel overall is lovely aesthetically. Something to mention, would be no suana/steam room in the “Wellness Centre”. I was very surprised.
We were disappointed with the inconsistent pricing. The standard room was advertised for $2500 six days prior, I had called to ask staff is this was correct. The staff member advised me they do not offer a quote for one night stays over the weekends…. (This is not true, we have only ever stayed on weekends for one night & we did again recently 27th Feb). I ended the call & watched the price drop dramatically over the six days to approximately $600. This initial call and pricing felt excessive!
Service during our stay was average and did not align with the expected “Top 50 worldwide” standard. In particular, the cleanliness in the restaurant was concerning. Two separate tables, guests were filming cockroaches on tables, which impacted the dining experience. Additionally, whilst paying extra for still water (as expected) we had to request multiple times for top ups.
For a premium offering, we expected a more attentive seamless level of service.
While the hotel has many positive attributes, improvements in accurate service consistency and restaurant hygiene would enhance the overall guest enjoyment.
- Rebecca (10/5): 5 star! - Excellent friendly service and room was so clean Nothing
- Trish (10/5): -
- Kelley-Ann (10/5): -
- Eleanor (10/5): -
- Mark (10/5): - Rooms and bathroom were great. Fantastic array of restaurants Costly
- Lori (10/5): - Architecture and design
- roger (10/5): Fantastic comfort, service and unpretentious ambiance. - The breakfast menu was innovative but interesting and healthy. The seating arrangements were fine too. I liked the fact there was a choice of inside and outside and that as a person who is slightly disabled there was no difficulty in your staff finding me a chair with a back rather than a high stool type chair. This is a very small point but can I mention the mushrooms I haven’t checked but I don’t recollect your menu states which type of mushroom will be served? I was a bit surprised therefore to find mixed mushrooms when I had been expecting something more like Portobello anyway this is very much a first world problem your hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in. This is also a small point, but I think that in a hotel of your quality the rooms should be supplied with a bottle of water which is free. It’s a gesture which would cost not very much.
