Inspirowany kulturą Indonezji. Wokół cisza i spokój. W holu mnóstwo potężnej, egzotycznej zieleni. Wystrój bazujący w duże mierze na mieszance drewna i betonu. W pokojach balkony z widokiem na wodę. Łóżka duże i wygodne, półotwarta łazienka z prysznicem, zestaw do kawy i herbaty, indywidualna klimatyzacja, sejf wystarczający na schowanie dwóch laptopów. WiFi dobrej jakości, ale całkowicie niezabezpieczone. Obsługa na bardzo wysokim poziomie, czystość również, choć na fudze od zlewu było widać już początki pleśni. Do tego miłe niespodzianki od menedżera hotelu na początku i w połowie pobytu. Fajny basen choć w woda w nim nie za ciepła. W okolicy brak jakichś sklepów czy lokali, poza restauracją hotelową, barem na 8 piętrze i przytulną piekarnią w samym hotelu. Lodówka i ekspres do kawy w pokoju są umieszczone wysoko i osoby o niższym wzroście mogą mieć problemy z ich używaniem. Szafa ubraniowa jest całkowicie przezroczysta co nam się nie podobało. Trochę za mało półek na ubrania a w łazience za mało miejsca na kosmetyki. Spowodowało to sytuację, że pierwszego dnia moja kosmetyczka została zdjęta i pozostawiona na podłodze bo obsługa na półeczce musiała położyć świeże ręczniki. Brakowało mi też oświetlenia w pokoju. Niby było kilka punktów świetlnych, ale sumarycznie w pokoju panował półmrok. Śniadania przyzwoite, ale mogłyby być bogatsze. Jajecznica w zasadzie niejadalna, podobnie jak smażone kiełbaski. Na szczęście były też jajka sadzone, na twardo, miękko i po benedyktyńsku, a na życzenie kucharz przyrządzał świeże omlety. Bardzo dobra herbata, świeżo sypana. Za mało świeżych warzyw i wędlin (tylko dwa rodzaje), sok pomarańczowy różny, czasem był przepyszny a czasem taki sobie. Przez cały pobyt serwowano to samo, bez żadnych zmian. Zdarzały się problemy z donoszeniem produktów, zwłaszcza pieczywa.

Plants in hotel are fabulous. Room size was good. Nice to have a balcony, bathtub, coffeemaker, kettle, + fridge. Storage was good. Restaurant was really good for dinner. Easy to get to with tram from Centraal Station. Bedding was great. Nice to have a desk and some storage drawers for clothes. Lighting was good but we had to call the front desk to figure out how to turn on the light near the desk, and then we accidentally discovered that light was on a dimmer switch which was a plus. Pool was great for swimming laps. Beds were a little soft - there is a topper that is on the main mattress that was a little squishy and moved around on the bed. Bathroom was very weird because it is not a separate room - it is just part of the main room (although the toilet was in a room with a door). The shower glass was open on 1/2 of one side, and it made it very cold because the shower was just open to the rest of the room and the glass is clear so there is no privacy. The chairs and sofa in the room were very uncomfortable and did not have any lower back support. Our biggest negative was the climate control - there basically is none. The hotel advertises individually controlled A/C in each room, but there is no A/C. When we called the front desk to find out how to adjust the thermostat, we found this out. The hotel was kind enough to bring us a fan though. The fan combined with opening the door for a bit to get some cooler air in worked out ok for us. However, if you were staying in the hotel when it was warm outside, I don't think it would be comfortable at all. The highs were in the 50s when we were there, so the room temperature was ok. They should not advertise individually controlled A/C when that does not exist.

Dominyka (8/5): A city vacation - A spacious room with a beautiful view and a balcony. The hotel has a stylish design and a quiet atmosphere, away from the noise and bustle of the city. There are bus and tram stops near the hotel, providing convenient transportation to the central station. We really enjoyed the rooftop and main restaurant bars. The cocktails were delicious, and the service was excellent. The view from the rooftop bar was especially impressive. Maybe we were just unlucky, but when we arrived at the hotel and checked in, we were not given any basic information about the hotel, such as breakfast and spa opening hours, general information about the city, how to get to the Old Town, or similar details. Normally, you usually receive this kind of information when traveling, but as I said, maybe our expectations were too high. The breakfast was not the best either. For a 4-star hotel, I expected a better experience. The hotel is not located near the Old Town, so if you plan to travel on foot, it will take around 20–30 minutes to get there.

dorothy0404 (8/5): Nice hotel - events, meetings - nice hotel and the rooms are spacious. Its in walking distance (20min from Central station not sure how long it takes to get to the center. I had a balkony overlooking the water which was super nice and quiet. Beds are really comfortable, I slept like a baby. Breakfast was good and had lots of choices. The common areas would maybe need some more attention. There was candy wrappings and a pen lying around in the central garden area. Meeting rooms all have daylight. Ours had some cobwes near the windows. Not sure how you can mss that while cleaning? The staff (reception and restaurant) was really helpful. Thank you for taking care of our group so well!

The rooms are extremely spacious and the showers are amazing.Unfortunately we were placed in room 205 which had a view of an ugly grey warehouse from our balcony. I would recommend a higher floor facing another angle. The breakfast was one of the finest I have ever experienced which included fresh squeezed orange juice. Overall, I would recommend.

The food in the restaurant was delicious and the view from our room was amazing, and we could enjoy the sunset. Also the mini bar in the room for our marriage was a huge plus! I'll definitely be back, and enjoy more dishes of the new menu! The only thing that couldve been better was that we would've liked a couple massage, called the receptionist and she never called back. But maybe next time? :)

Very helpful and kind throughout our stay with services like front desk, dining/bar, spa and housekeeping. The hotel smells so clean and fresh and everything is so well thought out to provide the most relaxing experience. The rooms are neat, quiet, very comfortable and spacious. The shower is very relaxing, as is the soaking tub. We wish we could have stayed longer and used the amenities more! The on-site coffee/bakery was also a nice bonus

It appears open plan but there is a sliding door/wall which can be used for privacy Beds comfortable Shower great. Bath large. Separate toilet cubicle. Room has coffee machine, pods, kettles, tea, mugs, iron and ironing board as well as hairdryer and a scales!! Plenty of stylish storage and a safe Robe and slippers and toiletries- shower gel/handwash, shampoo and body lotion. Balcony is a lovely size and has 1 small chair/wooden recliner. Views over the waterway to the passenger terminal for the river boat cruises. Public areas are well laid out with plenty of greenery, wood and glass giving it a wonderful serene atmosphere. The restaurant area has plenty of seats with the bar right along side. We used the restaurant for breakfast which was excellent. Food was regularly replenished with plenty of choices. Hot food, cold selection, fruits, yoghurts , cereals, pastries and breads. Staff were extremely welcoming. A little early for check in but the receptionist Diane, asks for housekeeping to check the room and the came and found us 20 mins or so later in their coffee shop to make sure we had our room keys. Check out was at 12 midday. We used the luggage storage facility next to reception This was free. The hotel is situated a little outside of Amsterdam but it is easily accessible by tram or bus from the central station. We didn’t use the spa facilities but have decided that we would most definitely try and plan a return visit and possibly use these. Excellent hotel

It is beautiful, inside and out, the rooms were generous and comfortable, the showers were great, the breakfast was generous and delicious. We were really impressed. Special thanks to Lisa who helped us keep our specialised medication frozen during our stay - she was so kind, proactive and helpful. The location is the only drawback - it’s a 30 min walk into the city centre or a 10-15 min Uber/Bolt/Taxi ride. The cost of public transport made a taxi cheaper for 4. Just something to plan and budget for, this hotel is definitely worth it.

Heidrun (10/5): Außergewöhnliches Hotel mit viel Komfort - Außergewöhnliches sehr modernes Hotel mit herrlichem Blick auf den Fluss Ij, viele Pflanzen, Palmen, lichtdurchflutet, viel helles Holz, indonesischer Stil als Thema. Sehr freundliches Personal, spricht sehr gut Englisch. Sehr gut mit Bus (43 Borneo-eiland) und Tram (26) von der Centraal Station erreichbar. Sehr leckeres reichliches Frühstücksbuffet bis 10.30 Uhr. Es gibt Eierspeisen, Pancakes, Vegetarisches, diverses Obst, Säfte, sehr gute Kaffeespezialitäten, sehr guter Tee u.v.m., man blickt auf den Fluss oder sitzt gemütlich bei den Pflanzen. Sehr schöner Innenpool mit Flussblick, angenehm temperiert. Unsere Junior Suite im 7. Stock war sehr komfortabel, sauber, guter Föhn, bequemes Bett, Nespresso-Maschine und Wasserkocher, Bademantel, interessanter Ausblick (vom Bett aus) auf den Ij, wir sahen viele Flusskreuzfahrtschiffe und andere Boote. Tipp für abends: die "Malabar" im 9. Stock mit phänomenalem Ausblick zum Sonnenuntergang! Man kann sich fühlen wie auf einem Schiff, wenn man vorne im "Bug" sitzt und ein Getränk genießt. Angenehm: Checkoutzeit bis 12 Uhr. Es wurde tagsüber sehr warm im Zimmer (Südseite). Die Schranktüren (magnetische Griffe) gehen wirklich sehr schwer auf. Das sind aber nur Kleinigkeiten, wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Personeel mega vriendelijk, heerlijk eten. Goede service, prachtige kamers en hotel. Derde keer hier en ik blijf terugkomen. Er lag chocola ter ere van m'n verjaardag as verrassing. En flexibel personeel; afdeling marketing gaf toestemming vooraf voor een portretshoot op de kamer. Alle kamers hebben een balkon maar deze junior suite niet; wel een deur die open kan voor buitenlucht maar je kan niet een balkon op lopen. De prijs voor verblijf is wel prijzig.

Or any room ending in 42!! - Bed and pillows comfortable and staff was good but there was no privacy in my room. The room faced the atrium or center of the hotel so other people walking to their water view rooms could see right into my room. I had to keep the blinds closed 100 percent of the time so it left only one very small window of light coming in. Do not book a room that has the window facing the center of the hotel.

X7505MAdiegol (6/5): Luxurious Hotel with mixed feelings - The Hotel is on a small island which makes for an idyllic scene. It is reachable vis bus and tram - only two stations from the centraal station for the later. The room was very tidy and luxurious but lacks space to store clothes. Therefore, the equipment is not fit for long stays. The Service was okay, though I have been charged a service fee for a replacement card because I locked myself out. This is something I would expect to be for free in a 4 star hotel for 200+€ / night. The breakfast left me with mixed feelings. The bread was superb and the spreads epic (The Pinderkaas is a must try), but the hot food left me heavily disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel and would definitely chose another one on my next stay.
