A pump or something went off at approximately 6.45 in the morning and a few time after that which was very annoying when we got waken up. We were in room 11.

- Frances (9/5): Comfortable, central and nice staff - Central location I got a super seafood chowder here on a previous visit. So I expected a really nice breakfast- it was ok. Staff were lovely especially the lady we met at breakfast.

The person who brought breakfast was very friendly & courteous, remembering me from my last visit last year. Great location, room was comfortable, had an evening meal there one evening which i enjoyed. Whole experience was pleasurable I will visit again. Generally very good, there was one member of staff who I felt was a little rude. A cleaner who objected to me coming into the breakfast room slightly before 8am. I felt her tone was a little rude and pedantic, it was around 7.55am. I went back to my room for a few minutes rather than get into an argument over it. This was a one off incident, every other member of staff was very pleasant.

- Clíodhna (10/5): Beautiful hotel, definitely more like 4 star! - Amazing location, so central. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful, very spacious and super clean. We also ate breakfast at the hotel the next morning and it was delicious. No iron / ironing board in the room, we likely could have requested one from reception but we didn’t ask so it wasn’t a major issue. Only other tiny details which could’ve been improved would be the shower pressure, however again not a game changer. Would 100% stay here again.

The fish chowder in their restaurant is the best I’ve ever had, don’t miss it. We had one small issue, when reported to management they were excellent, professional and friendly in dealing with it.

We might have chosen to stay Sunday and Monday rather than Saturday and Sunday if we had been advised in advance that Saturday is disco night till 2 a.m. One minor issue, we could not get tv to work for live tv.
