• de los santos (7/5): Estancia 2 noches en hotel Mar Menor - Tenemos sentimientos encontrados en este alojamiento. Pot cuestión de logistica, a última hora tuvimos que llamar para ampliar la reserva y nos dijeron que sin problemas. Tuvimos por el mismo precio reserva para una ersona mas y también desayuno. La habitación era una maravilla: terraza al solecito, el baño muy grande, armario empotrado, nevera, termo de agua con infusiones y cafe soluble, etc Lo que no nos gusto del alojamiento fueron las camas, estan muuuuy viejas, parecia que dormiamos en una barca, se hundia al medio. Terminé con mucho dolor de espalda y sin descansar en toda la noche. Tambien se deverian de cambiar las toallas, estan viejas y rascan al usarlas.

Ruime kamer, schoon, heel goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Spaanse sfeer, ontbijten met de locals met heerlijke koffie, sapje, broodje. Helemaal goed.

• Tatiana (5/5): Regular - Que se podia aparcar sin problema Pues no me gusto que la habitacion olia a humedad y el armario daba mucho que desesr la verdad no pusimos la ropa dentro, luego yo viaje con una niña pequeña que el dia dwl desayuno no era muy sencillo y ensima me dijeron que ya que ni cobraban por la menor que que pediamos mas que lo que consumieramos debiamos pagar y en la aplicacion no pone nada de que los niños que entran gratis no les coresponfia el desayuno para ser 3 estrellas deja mucho que desear
• Jldr1980 (9/5): La mejor habitación del Mar Menor - La habitación enorme con terraza grande y los desayunos buenísimos. El personal es agradable y eficiente. Hay nevera. Hay radiador para las toallas. Hay enchufes a cada lado de la cama. El hotel está bien comunicado. El colchón no era de nuestro agrado pero dormimos muy bien.

I asked to change it, but they said the other room was occupied. The owner didn't bother to resolve the issue and didn't even apologize. I don't recommend this dump to anyone. I am attaching a photo of what they were supposed to give and what I received.

En el baño, accesorios viejos o con herrumbre. Necesita una buena renovación y mantenimiento. Los colchones de no muy buena calidad. Encontramos una pequeña cucaracha en el baño. Las instalaciones en general necesitan renovación. En el armario faltaba una de las puertas y la carpintería no estaba en muy buen estado. El calentador de agua estaba dentro del armario y hacía ruidos por la noche.

Toilet button not fitting and loose. Metal elements (eg toilet paper holder, waste bucket) very rusty. A loose cork in the bath. A very poor impression.

• Anthony (1/5): - Location Wardrobe door glass smashed and unable to open. Glass top on unit smashed and repaired with cellotape. Toilet flush broken (Photos attached) No hot water in sink. Therefore in light of the above we therefore feel that a full refund should be applied.

• Jasper (10/5): Top locatie - Goede en nette uitstraling. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Uitstekend ruime kamer. Prima eenvoudig ontbijt. Parkeren op straat nabij het hotel is soms wel even zoeken. Alle faciliteiten en strand in paar minuten wandelen. Stad Porto, luchthaven, Braga en andere plaatsen uitstekend en snel bereikbaar.
• Tollak Johan (10/5): - Godt 3 stjerner hotell! Aircondition varmet ikke, men en olje ovn ble satt inn med en gang jeg gav beskjed om det! Stort rom og bra vedlikeholdt. Noe slitt hvilestol, ellers var sengene, pult etc. av god standard. Kunne ønsket et lyskilde direkte på pulten - var litt dårlig lysforhold for å jobbe med PC om aftenen, men det var et mindre problem. Hyggelige og hjelpsomme folk som arbeidet i resepsjonen/bar/cafeen. Fornuftig pris og god beliggenhet midt i Santiago de la B.

• William (2/5): - Hi I checked in to this hotel but I did not lift the window shutter till later on in the day . I was shocked to see that I was living on a garage forecourt ! So I could not use the balcony or have the curtains open as people that were filling their cars with petrol could see ands practically walk into my room as it was on the ground floor it was Awful ! No staff at reception so u went for dinner and when I returned there was still no staff . I was tired so went to bed and left after breakfast and will never return .

Desayuno incluido bastante bueno, dentro de lo que ofrece la cafetería. Los precios, quizá, un tanto elevados para el tipo de hotel, pero en verano ya se sabe...

• Alan (4/5): Terrible Stay - Left Early - Booked three nights here but left eaely. The air-conditioning dripped water onto the floor, even thugh they wanted the unit set no lower than 23C. The safe had no locking mechanism and the bathroom window would not lock. We complained and asked to change rooms. They said there was no free rooms but they would look at the aircon. Other than mopping the floor they did not fix the aircon. With 40C temperatures working air-conditioning is required. On leaving early, we complained to the manager. He simply shrugged and coildnt have cared less. Shocking customer service. Reservé tres noches aquí pero me fui rápidamente. El aire acondicionado goteaba agua en el piso, aunque querían que la unidad no estuviera a menos de 23 ° C. La caja fuerte no tenía mecanismo de cierre y la ventana del baño no cerraba. Nos quejamos y pedimos cambiar de habitación. Dijeron que no había habitaciones libres pero que mirarían el aire acondicionado. Aparte de fregar el suelo, no arreglaron el aire acondicionado. • jacqueline (8/5): Badkamer hulp - Even een kleine opmerking over de badkamer. Bad is heel net, maar heel glad. Het zou handig zijn, indien er langs het bad aan de muur een handsteun zou aanwezig zijn
• Cathrin (10/5): Mycket prisvärt alternativ. - Jättebra hotell för pengen. Rymligt rum och vi hade turen att få den stora balkongen/terassen. Lite väl hårda sängar och en av dem lät bedrövligt, men den vänliga hjälpsamma personalen bytte ut sängen. Har i stort sett bara gott att säga om detta hotell. Vi trivdes jättebra och personalen var jättetrevliga.

• David (8/5): Small and friendly accommodation. - Very comfortable, clean accommodation at convenient location. Friendly staff but note that this is an ‘apartment hotel’ so faculties are appropriate to this time of accommodation. We would recommend the Hotel Mar Menor but note that it is situated close to fairly busy road so some traffic noise can be expected. If possible ask for a room that does not have view onto adjacent petrol station. A convenient and comfortable base if you are exploring the Mar Menor area.
• Tina (8/5): Central and clean - This is a good hotel for business or house hunting as it is super central. The beach, market and a theatre are around the corner, there is a bus stop, lots of restaurants in walking distance, its all there. The hotel is spotless and there is a continental breakfast included. If you come for a holiday there are other hotels right on the seafront.
