Good location - walking distance to everything in Goreme and they have a roof terrace to watch the balloons. Bed was very hard and the pillows were not great either.

Great spot for watching the hot air balloons and far enough out of the town to enjoy peace and quiet but close enough to wander down to eat and enjoy the activities.

• ASHRIF (10/5): Truly fantastic place to stay within walking distance of Goreme Centre - Truly excellent hotel with lovely and helpful staff. Very clean and very well maintained. Excellent location just 5 -7 minutes walk from Goreme Town Centre. Lovely choice of breakfast. Although it is a 3 star hotel the presentation, courtesy of staff, excellent maintenance, location, freshness of breakfast make this an outstanding hotel to stay at. They only do bed and breakfast, but within 5-8 minutes you can walk to nice local restaurants If not agile please ask for a lower floor room.

Lo staff a colazione non era così accogliente come mi sarei aspettata in un hotel di questo livello e non parlava molto inglese. La colazione era varia ma per chi è vegano come me non c’era molta scelta, in particolare nessun latte vegetale, neppure su richiesta. Nelle marmellate e nella tahina ho trovato un moscerino e poi un capello. La prima volta l’ho fatto presente e dalla cucina ho visto che hanno semplicemente versato il contenuto in un’altra ciotola…Inaccettabile…

• Prillia (9/5): Loved it! Highly recommend it. - We loved it, especially the kids. It gave an experience of living in a cave but comfortably. The location was awesome; the staff was incredible! Perhaps it's a bit too dark. Adding more lights will help. Breakfast menu can also be improved. But hot eggs on the menu were the saviors!

• Nilofar Shajahan (10/5): Pleasant Stay - Really good hotel. Very close to the main town. Breakfast options are great. Got the high floor so the view was really beautiful with snow-covered scenery. Would recommend and revisit. Special mention for the staff member who helped us with our bags on check-in. He was very helpful and kind. Nothing to note. Pleasant stay.
• Abdelhamed (8/5): Pleasant - We were given an upgrade which was nice. However I am unsure what was the difference other than the upgrade being 2 levels (more stairs) when I booked a one level. Breakfast was just okay. Would be nice to have more options. Particularly in the bread section and hot foods. There was a jacuzzi in the upgraded room which we couldnt use.

• Divya (8/5): Great service with spacious rooms - Quaint , great service, rooms spacious and well equipped with comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom with hair dryer and rain water shower. Included breakfast was plentiful. Staff very friendly and accommodating. All bookings and rebooking a done very efficiently. Property conveniently located within 5 minutes walking distance to Goreme centre. Staying in a cave hotel means bathrooms will be musty. Underfloor heating was also amplified so couldn't use bare feet. Our room temperature control was problematic as central heating was too much. We ended up sleeping with window open and used the aircon to keep room temp below 24 degrees whilst it was 1-5 degrees at night.

The bathroom was getting cleaned up everyday, no need to request. The toiletries are getting stocked up everyday. The breakfast hall was very warm and clean. The staff are all nice and friendly. I hope they can install the bidet in the washroom.

They help us to start bon fire for one night and served us tea or coffee when we are waiting at the lobby. The day tour they provide is also great, you can join the tour if you need. There were quite dusty in the room, not sure because there are always sand in this area or they just didn’t clean the floor that often.

También es verdad que teníamos una habitación triple ( que resultó tener una cama matrimonial y dos individuales) y al final, por circunstancias, solo fuimos dos personas. Buffet de desayuno surtido y con posibilidad de que te hagan al momento omelettes. Buen servicio en general. Ligera humedad. Para hacerlo perfecto, le pondría una piscina.

• Reanna Mae (9/5): Peaceful hotel with views of the valley, a short walk away from downtown - The location of the hotel was perfect. It wasn't in the center of the busy streets, making it peaceful, but still close enough walk to all the shops and restaurants of downtown Goreme. It is right next to the start of the Pigeon Valley trail as well. The room was great, no complaints. We didn't get to enjoy the rooftop due to the bad weather that cancelled the hot air balloons -- so no opinion on that.

Habíamos reservado una habitación standard (que está en PB) y queríamos piso alto y el personal se mostró muy amable y nos hicieron un upgrade y no nos cobraron. A la noche nos armaron una fogata para nosotras, muy amables y serviciales. La habitación super amplia, éramos 3 y disfrutamos mucho de la estadía. En general todo estuvo muy bien.

• Best (9/5): Loved it and would highly recommend it to others. - We loved this hotel! Loved the location, the presentation and layout of rooms, the terraced sitting areas, the contemporary cave room experience and the helpful staff. I’m reluctant to complain as everything here was really nice and we had a great time, but the air conditioning in our room was inadequate. Our room was really warm and at night held the heat. The air conditioner did little to cool it.

• Burgundy (10/5): Beautiful Cave Suites Charm - Hera Cave Suites is just perfect. The staff are very friendly, and the location is excellent, with shops and restaurants only a five-minute walk away. The room was clean and spacious, and we loved the different terrace levels with plenty of places to sit and take in the beautiful view of Göreme. The rooftop terrace is lovely too. Nothing, everything was great.
• Ann (10/5): Hera Cave Hotel is perfect ! - The Hera Cave Hotel is everything i had hoped for and more! It's beautiful, comfortable, clean, the location is fantastic and the staff couldn't be more helpful! Our stay here has been a highlight of the trip! the only thing i could say is that maybe there could be an earlier start to breakfast (7/30 am?) but other than that the place is so perfect!

• Ruma (8/5): - I recently stayed at Cave Hera Hotel in Cappadocia and had a mixed experience. Pros:     •    The service was very good — the staff were friendly and accommodating.     •    The room was spacious and comfortable to move around in.     •    Great location, close to the town center and convenient for exploring the area. Cons:     •    The bed was uncomfortable, which made it difficult to rest well.     •    The pillows weren’t great and could definitely use an upgrade.     •    If sleep comfort is a priority for you, this hotel might not fully meet expectations. Overall, Cave Hera offers solid service and a great location, but the sleep quality could be improved.

• Ines (8/5): - Buena ubicación, personal muy atento y buenas vistas. La limpieza de todo el hotel y sus espacios al aire libre para contemplar el paisaje Por estar en “cuevas” un poco oscura la habitación y subir las escaleras ya que estábamos en el 3er nivel

• Lavar (10/5): I’d stay here again - It was walking distance to everything. Most hotels are nestled away throughout Goreme on small side streets up hills etc. Hera is perfectly situated at the end of one of the main roads. Views from the Terrace and your room give you a picturesque view of the balloons in the morning and great sunset in the evening. The entire staff was amazing!
