Guest Reviews
- louise (9/5): Perfect would use again and recommend - Light and airy feel, park your car next to property where you can see, great location you could get more central but still very quite The stuff in the kitchen cupboards was jumbled and random though handy should you of forgot something.

- Bev (8/5): Perfect for our stay! - Jubilee House was perfect for our needs, meeting up with family. There was ample accommodation for the 6 of us. We ate in and we also ate at the lovely pub 50 yards away. We needed two car parking spaces, so one of us had to park on the road, which worked out OK. The town itself is lovely, and we also went bike riding and the Aqua Park at Rutland. Highly recommended. The facilities were a little under-spec'ed sometimes, eg. not enough crockery and cutlery, not nice enough. The towel rail was a little wonky. But overall, everything was functional.
- Elayathamby (6/5): Pleasant -
- Charles (7/5): Good - Property location - very near town centre and all amenities. Parking was very convenient. Oven and microwave not very clean.
Patio doors did not fully open.
Property a bit shabby.
- Daisy (10/5): Very communicative and organised. Helpful host. Have stayed here 3 times now and always the same. Great :) - Fantastic location. Clean and spacious. All good.
- Amber (6/5): Great location and had a nice stay. - Great location, comfy beds with nice towels and bedding. I can imagine the property would be good for families with good facilities and number of bathrooms for everyone. Nice email from the host with information about travel and the area. Having tea and coffee facilities was much appreciated as well. Overall, we did have a good stay at the property. The property needs updating quite a bit. The kettle was full of limescale, rust on the shower fixtures and mould in the bathrooms. Some of the fixtures were hanging off the walls. There was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms so we were left using washing up liquid. I did email the host a couple of times but unfortunately never got a response.
- Kelly (10/5): Fantastic - Location was fantastic, very comfortable property like home from home Nothing
- John (3/5): Poor - Good location and parking facilities Property in need of a thorough "going over" to fix niggling defects and a deep clean.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Patrick (3/5): This property needs a complete rethink and update if it's ever to offer value for money. - The house is well located, the property is reasonably spacious and warm, heating is controllable by the guests. The house is quite dilapidated, with poor decor, staining, grease build up on the cooker and hood, and several separate plumbing problems including taps and radiators not working. The parking space will only accomodate a small hatchback.
- Elizabeth (5/5): Good location for visiting family but property needed a deep clean and some repairs. - Location excellent. Hot water plentiful.warm
2 bathrooms Needed a good deep clean. Dishwasher mouldy. House was tired and needed some repairs. Large shelf in single room had come away from wall and was dangerous. Curtain hem down.outside light not working.no cold water in downstairs bathroom
- Stephen (3/5): Good location but that's it - Location is good Top floor bedrooms smelt of cigarettes.
Radiators not heating up on top of floor.
TV speaker not working so unusable.
Dishwasher not working.
Toilet seat very loose.
No response from host after informing them.
- Michelle (7/5): A great family weekend - Jubilee House is in an excellent location for the high street and the many restaurants and bars. The decoration was tired and needed updating. There was no milk or tea, as promised. Just lacked the finesse experienced in other properties in this price bracket.
- Joel (10/5): Wonderful base for exploring Rutland Water - Clean, roomy and as described. Nothing to complain about.
- Lorraine (7/5): Good - The garden. fortunately didnt really have time to sit outside but would have been disappointed if I had time.
- Hamesh (8/5): Very good -
- Brendan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (5/5): Whilst being an ideal location for our stay we were disappointed with some of the cleanliness of the property and the fa - Ideally situated in Rutland. The bedding and towels were clean , the beds very comfortable. The grill pan was dirty, the majority of the mugs were badly stained, there were dirty spoons in the cutlery drawer which looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned out in a while. There wasn’t any tea towels or washing up liquid, the cloth which we presumed was a dish cloth was stained and there was only one dishwasher tablet. The milk that had been left for us was already opened. There was an out of date croissant in the bread bin. The microwave was dirty too. There was about a third of a toilet roll in two of the three bathrooms. There was a large stain on one of the sofas. There were no keys to open either the back door or the door to the patio. I spoke with one of the owners when we discovered the dirty crockery and cutlery , he did offer to send someone round the next day to sort out however we were only there for two nights and weren’t happy for anyone to enter whilst we were not there. He did say that the property was supposed to have had a deep clean a few weeks before!!
- Jeannette (3/5): Disappointing!! - The Location was central in Oakham. The property had not been cleaned before our arrival.
- Alexandra (9/5): A charming small house with lots of rooms! - Great location, cozy area and house. All necessities needed in the house. Easy check-in and out! One radiator wasn't working in one of the small rooms. Creaky floors - but that's to be expected in an english house like this. 😉
- Ben (10/5): lovely place and great location - great location and very clean
- Kathryn (6/5): Pleasant - Position in town. Settees were dirty, some outside lights not working, curtain upstairs in need of repair.
- Tracey (8/5): Very good -
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): Great for Rutland anglers - Great sized house, brilliant location for access to Oakhams facilities. A short trip to Rutland water which was excellent for us anglers Allocated car parking space was a bit awkward for a larger car depending on how the neighbours had parked. However the available on street parking is more than adequate
- Richard (9/5): Look forward to seeing you again - Just what we wanted Numbers on the lock to small to read
- Jane (9/5): Great stay in Oakham - Great location. Parking space, clean and comfortable. Easy access and communication with owner
- Fiona (8/5): good to see family and friends - central location the back yard could do with a tidy and some tlc
- Kate (6/5): Pleasant - dishwasher hadn’t been unloaded from previous guest. bath
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- David (10/5): Oakham family stay - Very comfortable. Great location. Good size. Well stocked and good facilities. Easy check in. Nice touches.
