The road side location was a little busy but still a great venue ! Sadly someone smashed my car and although CCTV it didn’t cross the span of the whole car park which they should invest in. This made the whole stay costly but not the hotels fault.

Had to give credit card details against any damage caused ( not something we've had to do at a hotel) and in case you took items from mini bar however mini bar was completely empty. Trillium (10/5): Perfect location and wonderful team. - The staff at the Royal Foresters are amazing, from hotel management to waitstaff in the pub! Ellie made every breakfast extra special and the housekeepers made sure I always had my favorite biscuits. The food is great, the rooms comfy, clean, and well-appointed. This is the second year I've spent a week here visiting family and friends and it feels like home away from home. The rates are great for the quality. Free onsite parking and close to the train, a grocery store, and cental Bracknell. Only because I stay for a long while each year, I'd love a microwave. Also a restaurant menu and phone to call the front desk would be fab for us international guests!

Nicely decorated room with excellent en suite shower and loo, L’Occitane toiletries, great towels and bed linen, huge tv screen, coffee maker and mini fridge. Breakfast is waitress service, freshly prepared to order and delicious. And all at an incredibly bargain price. The restaurant is very popular and booking is pretty much essential. Oh, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. If you want a quiet early night it might be a bit lively, so bring ear buds.

Margaret (9/5): Very Nice place to stay - The Royal Foresters is situated near Ascot, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. With a well stocked mini bar and complementary bottles of water and lovely toiletries and fluffy towels and bath robes. The only little downer was not being able to control the temperature within the room. It seemed to be on a centralised system. Giving you no control on how warm or cool you might like it in the room. Opening a window on to a busy car park made it not a available option.

Neil (7/5): Fantastic - would be perfect with a simple fix. - Incredible staff. Fantastic food and a very cosy, welcoming atmosphere throughout. Having stayed 4-nights over the past month (2x separate rooms), the TV’s continue to not be connected to the central WiFi network. This makes it impossible to enjoy any streaming content, which was a big highlight for me when I used to stay regular in years gone by. Small fixes (and maybe a slight upgrade to the tech) would round off what are on the whole, very nice rooms.

j baverstock (1/5): Royal Foresters hotel ascot - Location was brilliant, venue was excellent on Friday , very busy though, so finding a seat was nigh on impossible Booked meal for the Saturday at 7.30, waited well over an hour for our starter, was fobbed off with crap excuses , eventually brought over by the manager at 8.40. Mains turned up was barely warm , we complained and was offered hot gravy to put on it , completely ruined our stay and weekend. Got up this morning (Sunday) massive power cut, no showers working, went round to get breakfast but non available as no power (obviously no one could forsee this) but completely ruined our weekend, for a place of that size surely back up generators would be an idea, all in all what was a weekend we had been waiting for completely ruined by very bad service etc in restaurant on Saturday evening and power cut Sunday morning

Allison Murphy (10/5): Loved it and would come back in a heartbeat! - Perfect location to walk to LaplandUK! So much festive decor set up in the pub for Christmas! The staff were incredible - so kind and helpful, especially with our 4y/o daughter. (Let her play with the tree ornaments and gave her crayons and paper to colour with.) Rooms were clean and stylish. Much better than most other pub rooms we’ve stayed in. So pleasantly surprised! This didn’t bother us, but if you’re sensitive to noise at night, the pub crowd and music might get on your nerves. But we thought it added to the festive atmosphere of the weekend!

Nice environment for what we needed thank you The window in the room was quite large which could be fully opened and didn’t feel 100% safe for a small child ( family room ). It was also quite noisy with traffic late at night which kept my daughter awake. The window let in a lot of sound
Suzanne (8/5): Generally great comfort and wonderful food in a great pub. - Breakfast is always great and offers really good value for money I stay here often and am generally happy with everything. The last few visits however I have had to request items that have been missed. This time it was towels. Also the complimentary shower products were empty or near empty. I left them in the sink so they were obvious to the cleaning team, and should be filled, however this was ignored. I appreciate this is a pub with rooms and not a hotel, but I do find it very odd that a cleaning team comes into the room to simply place the scatter cushions on the bed each morning, but doesn't remove dirty glasses / mugs or bottles. Nor did the tea / milk get refilled on two of the mornings which was a shame.

Alison (10/5): Very enjoyable to stay while visiting friends in the area. - A busy hotel but able to cope. The room was quiet and comfortable. Efficient and friendly lunch and breakfast service. 1 extra chair in the bedroom?

steve (8/5): Good value - Good room for the price which included breakfast. Food was very good with excellent service. Room was next to busy road, request room away from the road. Lighting in bathroom is very poor.
