- Guest (7/5): - Sehr nettes und hilfreiches personal. die Lage ist super, nach 15min fußweg erreicht man den strand. Zimmergröße is perfekt. Klimaanlage ist einwandfrei. Fernseher funktioniert auch sehr gut. Die Sauberkeit hat bisschen gefehlt, Betten waren ungemütlich. WLAN hatte ab und an mal seine probleme

Meine Freundin hatte einen Wespenstich und die Gastgeber waren sofort mit Fenistil zur Stelle. Zudem gaben Sie uns wertvolle Tipps bezüglich der Erkundung der Insel. Da dieser Teil der Insel nahe an einer Lagune liegt, finden sich hier ziemlich viele Mücken. Dafür können die Gastgeber aber nichts. Deshalb Anti-Muck einpacken! 😁

- Grammont (3/5): Not recommended - Clean and with the minimum necessary. Service from the hosts was unfriendly and we did not feel like welcomed. They did not provide full information when we asked whether there was any public transportation available from Corfu to go to the hotel. They just tried to convince us that it was a terrible idea and that we were stupid to try doing so. They did not provide any support nor tried to be helpful and let us walk from the bus stop 2km away (while it is a 2 min drive from the hotel). When we asked the hosts to give us a lift on the way back, they first refused saying it was too early, and finally accepted due to other circumstances. The rooms are very basic but clean. To be avoided if possible.

- Gerlinde (8/5): Ruhig wohnen, abseits von Rummel und trotzdem mittendrin 😀 - Das Personal war extrem nett und freundlich .Es wurde jeden Tag unser Zimmer gereinigt , unser Bett gemacht und immer frische Handtücher hingelegt :) Herzlichen Dank dafür. Parkplatz war wie beschrieben vorhanden . Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig. Genau das was wir nach einem schönen langen Tag auf der Insel gebraucht haben . Einen Ort um richtig die Nachtruhe zu genießen sich zu erholen . Das Wasser im Pool war extrem sauber und die ganze Anlage drum rum sehr sauber gehalten und gepflegt . Die Qualität der Sonnenschirme am Pool! Ansonsten hat alles super gepasst..

No screaming kids, no hassle, nice swimming pool, great ambiance, Very close to local tavernas with a wide selection of fish, seafood, and traditional Greek cuisine. Good cooked breakfast, quality wine. Will definitely go back one day.

- Richard (8/5): First visit to Corfu. Last minute booking and found a good hotel. - Breakfast whenever you like is a very nice thing to offer. As for the breakfasts: no buffet available due to the low number of guests when we were there. However, the food Emily served was always fresh and well cooked/prepared. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal at Stars with Costa playing his favourite music and listening to ours. His stories were also very entertaining. Suggestions of where to go and what to see on our first visit to Corfu were also spot on. The room was basic but had everything we needed. The mattress was a bit on the firm side. Spare pillows were provided on request.

Owners were very friendly and serve solely to us, cocked very testy and exclusive for their guests. If you would like to have fresh air, should take care about mosquitoes. Mosquito nets would be a benefit for property.

- Lois (9/5): A pastoral setting for a beach experience - Especially after the crowds in the north of Corfu and the mega hotels around the beaches here, we really appreciated the quiet, pastoral setting of the Stars. Our room was modest and fairly small with a balcony, but we did a last minute booking & were pleased to get in. As Emily said, “you’ll sleep well here” & we did. The breakfast array is plentiful & good, especially the coffee & homemade items. But it’s the dinner meal you want to make sure you take here. Don’t request the stereotypical offerings that are available everywhere: The specials each night, and the Greek meals, are plate licking delicious. And Kosta can whip up some good cocktails and wine for you when you describe what you want. We enjoyed watching the pleasure the kids were having in the pool but usually had spent too much time at the beach to want to use the pool ourselves. Love the parking situation. Nothing. Everything was as expected.

They arranged 2 activities for us: 1 day in Aqualand and 1 day Paxos/Antipaxos with pick-up from the property. Also they were very kind and helped us with a ride very early in the morning, in order for us to catch the Green Bus to Corfu town.

- Radostina (1/5): In short - we were practically kicked out of the hotel on the second day after our arrival. - Nothing The hotel stay was terrible. There are no mosquito nets of any kind, and there are swarms of them all around, and there is no way to sleep. At night, due to the heat, the only option for sleeping is with closed doors and air-conditioning windows. For people who can't sleep like that for the whole night, the stay becomes impossible. When trying to talk to staff about these topics, guests simply are told to leave immediately. Extremely bad attitude from Kostas. Refusal to discuss any of our attempts to refund at least part of the prepaid stay. P.S. We were not registered at the hotel in any way, we were not asked for ID.

- Golan (1/5): We will definitely not recommend the place and will not stay there again - noting The host was very impatient, unhelpful and irritable, causing difficulties and causing an intimidating feeling. We have never experienced such horrible hospitality. At the same time, the room is of a low standard, not equipped and comfortable. They don't clean every day and when they do, the level of cleanliness is average or below. There are no seats in the complex and we were forbidden to sit at the only table in the pool complex.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - What a wonderful place. Beautifully clean rooms and pool and really comfy beds. Very entertaining and nothing is too much trouble. The food is home cooked using their own produce by the lovely Emily and delicious. They even make their own wine which is very nice, especially the red. Very peaceful and quiet during the day and evenings were great with music provided by DJ Kosta, who is a great host.
- Christel (10/5): Séjour au top - Notre séjour au Star Hôtel à Corfou fait partie de nos meilleures vacances, un hôtel idéalement situé a 500 m environ du village de Agios Giorgos, de ses plages de sable, nombreux restaurants et commerces. Emilie et Costa sont des hôtes charmants et accueillants, toujours présents et disponibles à toutes heures. Les chambres sont propres et climatisées, aucunes nuisances sonores durant les 2 semaines de notre séjour. Les repas peuvent être pris au restaurant de l'hôtel, et Emilie propose une cuisine de qualité et la meilleure moussaka que nous ayons mangé entre autre spécialité proposée. Le petit déjeuner continental proposé est varié et copieux. Le Star Hôtel est idéalement situé à 45 minutes de l'aéroport et correspond en tout point à ceux qui souhaitent échapper aux grosses structures hôtelières. A prévoir impérativement : un diffuseur électrique pour les moustiques!
