Guest Reviews
- Murtaza (9/5): Superb - Cleanliness, praying mat, toiletries, Pl provide with tea maker 🙏 . Woke up early morning and no provision for tea, electric kettle, with tea bags, would be perfect. And keep the fridge full of drinks, like juice, cola, etc. and charge it.
- Marek (4/5): Not worth - Restaurant and the rooftop view was great, food was really tasty. WiFi doesn’t work even in the reception, there was no really warm water for a shower, even late at night some people been running and shouting in the corridor also hotel has not great surroundings.
- Katherine (6/5): Pleasant hotel in a good location if you want to stay in Old Delhi, fairly basic but good value for money - The hotel has a great location (if you want to stay in Old Delhi) right opposite the Jama Masjid. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is good value. The room was pretty basic especially the bathroom. Cleanliness was OK but not sparkling. There was not much space in the room.
- Mohammad (9/5): Superb -
- Chad (7/5): Excellent location, water was provided when we asked, room hygiene could have been a bit better. - Excellent location Bed sheets were not clean
- Mark (6/5): Pleasant -
- Subratty (8/5): Good stay - Location, staff were decent and polite, room was clean, room service was good Very noisy at night. Staff talk a lot in the corridor. No luggage weighing scale. Booking.com app showed free airport pickup which i guess was a mistake on the app itself
- Khadar (10/5): The rooms were clean, friendly staff - It’s exactly opposite Jama Masjid and neat, hygienic
- Day (1/5): The street to this hotel is a slum with many homeless people roaming around. NO safe! - I didn’t stay here. When Uber was approaching the hotel he warned it was a dangerous area and he couldn’t go to the hotel but would leave me 300 meters from it as we reach it about 5 men’s all who seems to be homeless people were waiting outside the car to harass me. I couldn’t dare to get out, it was too risky so I ask the driver to take me out of that hell. As soon as I found wifi I messaged the property and explained. They messaged me 8 hours later telling me they didn’t book the room because of my reservation when I advised right away I wasn’t coming. I had to call my bank and block any charges coming from India because I didn’t thought it was right to try to make me pay when I didn’t stay.
I don’t recommend this place to foreigners, perhaps it’s good for Indians who are use to deal with this type of situation. A lot of homeless people roaming around and even sleeping on the street 300 meters from the hotel and also a lot of dirt, very dirty. No I wouldn’t recommend going to this neighbourhood to no one. Unless you want to get hurt , robbed or who knows what other tragedies. Ugly place very ugly.
- Aijaz (10/5): Please come and visit this is very nice home stay - Good service Nothing
- Gussar (10/5): Exceptional - Because it’s next to jama masjid
- Ismail (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent Hotel, very clean, great location and value for money Hotel arranged taxi for us to the Airport, they used aThird Party taxi, literally picked him up from outside. It was an old Taxi, they charged us over 1000 rupees and taxi drivers aid he only got about 400 rupees.
Arrange the taxi tourself
- Sahil (8/5): Very good - A good hotel in a dirty place. Nothing really
- Mohamed (6/5): Pleasant -
- Hafiz (8/5): Very good -
- Jill (7/5): Review of stay - I stayed at the hotel because of the restaurant which was very convenient and a wonderful location. The room did not have a window and was noisy all night with what sounded like a door in the kitchen opening and closing as though door needed oiling. The room could do with an upgrade compared to the quality of the cafe.
- Imran (10/5): Best value for money in terms of location, cleanliness and comfort. - Location , location , location Single elevator for entire bldg + Gumbad Cafe. Long wait times as a result for elevator.
- Walter (3/5): Smokey - Only suitable for smokers. The rooms reek of smoke which is too engrained to remove. The restaurant similarly is a shisha bar but behind the fug of smoke are magnificent views of the central mosque.
- Vijay (8/5): Very good - Comfortable and good value for money.
Staff very polite.
- Luiz (9/5): Superb -
- Steve (8/5): Very good -
- Mohamed (7/5): Good - location bit cramped
- Shelley (5/5): Passable -
- Aamir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caroline (8/5): Great location - Amazing location with a view of the mosque. Rooms perfectly comfortable, with good air con.
- Kazi (7/5): Good -
- Bram (6/5): Acceptable but not more than that. - Luggage storage.
Credit card payment possible.
Location near the Jama Masjid. Services offered are pretty expensive: laundry, airport pick-up (3 times the regular price) etc.
Bathroom was not really clean and is in need of maintenance but actually restructuring.
Previous person smoked in the room while it is a non smoking room.
Bottle of water costs rupi 80.
- Nitin (6/5): I would not recommend a stay here. - The hotel has a great location and rooftop however the restaurant is outrageously priced. The room linens were old. The hotel has invested in their lobby and rooftop experience but left the room feeling barebone.
- Julian (8/5): Very good -
- Graham (9/5): Great stay, handy for the old part of Delhi. - I had a slightly more expensive room overlooking the Mosque which was a great view. It was clean and comfortable. The roof top restaurant is a real plus and a cool spot in the evening. Bit of a walk to the metro.
- Mohammad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helang (7/5): Great location. Excellent restaurant. Rooms run down. - The location was great with a lovely view over the Jama Masjid mosque from my hotel room window. Very central being walking distance from the Red Fort and Chandi Chowk markets. Really good restaurant with two rooftop levels. Food was great (although not cheap) and the best coffee I have had in India. There was lots of traffic, people & noise outside, but that's what is to be expected in the centre of Old Delhi. There were lots of little maintenance issues in my room. The bathroom sink leaked, the window didn't lock, bedside lamp didn't work, fridge didn't seal, threadbare towels, generally run down. Also on arrival no water, coffee or milk and only 1 teabag. For the price I expected a bit better. Just needs more to attention detail and a woman's touch!
- Carol (5/5): Would not recommend. - Staff was friendly and helpful. Terrace on upper level was nice with good view. Location. Busy, dirty neighborhood. Did not feel comfortable gping out by myself. Loud procession of people singing, dancing behind and in large truck lot up with colored spotlights at 2am woke me. Would not recommend.
- Shadab (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (6/5): Pleasant - Good location for Jama Masjid mosque and Red Fort.
- Luisa (4/5): Disappointing, would not recommend. - Nice rooftop view and good food in the bar even tough it was expensive to eat there. Room had no window and smelled as someone had smoked in there. Very loud until late night, bathroom was quite dirty and towels stained. Wifi did not reach room. Warm water in the shower did not always work.
- Lucie (7/5): Good - Beautiful view from the rooftop bar which you can visit as a non guest as well. It gets busy ei th upper class locals at night.
Room is so spacious, wifi is ok, staff is trying to help you as much as they can. It was rather noisy during the night cause you could here kitchen situates one floor above.
In the morning we saw several staff (we assume) people sleeping on the couch in the restaurant and on the stairs. We hope the hotel can find better solution for their workers to rest.
- Karunanidhi (7/5): Good -
- Abdulla (8/5): Ok - Ok Ok
- Inong (8/5): Room was good, but the locations the worst! - Room was clean, but servicing was a bit poor. The location is the worst. Too much dust, so much traffic and too many people. These people will never stop looking at you. Felt disgusting and unsafe walking around the roads.
- Frank (4/5): We were somewhat disappointed. - The location with direct view from the rooftop onto the Jama Masjid is great. Service is not what it should be. Little services generate high extra charges (e.g. paying in Euro) or are unreliable (e.g. our booked taxi to the airport came 30 min late).
- Kootab (9/5): Superb -
- Anwar (10/5): Excellent stay in super India😀👍to treasure with so much to take in - Nice and presentable and peaceful Nothing just that everything was fine
and pleasant stay
- Shin (8/5): Very Good! - Convenient and easy location. View from the hotel. Nice room. Nothing special
- Anna (6/5): Under par - Service not great. Only one towel in room, bad exchange rate, very noisy both from the street and roof terrace. Disappointed as it was recommended by the lonely planet
- Md (9/5): Superb -
- Khadija (10/5): Exceptional - It's a beautiful place to stay and very comfortable also I'm impressed with they service. Location was very good also hotel was very nice 👍 and yes again they service is amazing 👏
- Md (10/5): Exceptional -
- Asad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kerri (7/5): Amazing view & location if you want to be in the heart of Delhi & old town - Rooftop restaurant & view Bit rundown
- Kerri (7/5): Good -
- Saffdar (8/5): Not bad stay - Was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. Location for halaal food is excellent but be prepared to walk there. Their own restaurant is excellent The managers Rashid and the other one. Everything they kept asking me to pay cash. Don't know what they were up to.
Fridge was dirty and very smelly. We eventually stopped putting things in there. Was awful!!
If you driving in and out from that area, the traffic is crazy at most times. Takes a while to get out or into the area.
- Sajid (10/5): Exceptional - The Hotel is good and location was amazing
Friendly staff and value for money.
Front desk Staff Mr Farhan is very kind person.
Thank you
- Gaurav (8/5): Very good -
- Mami (9/5): Perfect location, comfortable stay - The room was spacious enough, and the bathroom was clean. The bed and blankets were also nice, allowing for a good night's sleep. Mr.Rashid at the front desk was kind, making our stay comfortable and worry-free! Thank you. There was a fly in the room, which I understand might be unavoidable due to the location. However, when I asked the cleaning staff if they had an electric fly racket, they replied, "It's just one fly," as they apparently didn’t have one. It would be great if an electric fly racket could be provided in the future.
- Melanie (8/5): Would stay again - It was A very nice one night stay. Good nights sleep fabulous view from the roof. Quiet room despite being on the first floor and at the front of the building. Excellent service at reception, arranged for a cycle tour of the city and kept our bags for us The bed. Also no mirror in the bathroom - very odd!
- Ishika (10/5): Exceptional -
- وسيم (10/5): I enjoyed the stay ...very peaceful - The staff ...Rashid bhai is very humble and approachable person No bucket in the bathroom
- Nazeer (8/5): Very good - Good Good
- Michele (8/5): Very good -
- Jan (6/5): If you want to be in the centre more than anything else - Location is strategic.. ..but also the place si very loud
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sonia (7/5): Good - Very nice staff - Super roof-top with excellent food and view on the Mosq. Lack of cleanliness - very noisy area
- Bernard (9/5): Superb - Great location to explore old Delhi.
Roof top terrace offers spectacular views on Jama Mosque.
- Steve (10/5): Perfect choice in Old Delhi, convenient for Jama Masjid, Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. - Wonderful views. Great Roof Restaurant. Fine, everything fine.
- Jessy (8/5): Jama Masjid the beautiful - The highlight of this hotel is its rooftop overlooking Jama Masjid. It’s an experience you must try one evening if you’re passing through Delhi—the photos speak for themselves. There’s a wide selection of meals and non-alcoholic cocktails. The rooms are simple and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities.
- Grace (3/5): Don’t do it! - The view from the rooftop was why I booked this hotel. The view of the Jama Masjid up close and the Red Fort further away were great! The property was dirty. The workers were all in the stairwells playing on their phones. Sheets were dirty, kettle didn’t work. The Booking ad claims a 500 rupee breakfast, but the restaurant says it costs whatever price is on the menu. The mass of humanity around this hotel is nothing short of astounding! The tuktuk drivers didn’t want to go down the street for fear of not being able to extract themselves. I know the hotel isn’t responsible for the air, but the air is visible around it! The people sleeping on the street right outside our window, naturally, weren’t featured in the sleek pictures of the hotel. Do yourself a favor, stay in another area of town and visit the mosque during the day! Our last day in the hotel ( we had paid but still hadn’t checked out and had hours until checkout) the water went off with my husband fully soaped up in the shower. He went to the front desk wrapped in soap and a towel to see what was going on. They said wait 5 minutes! I felt like it was a very carelessly run hotel and would NOT recommend this at any price point.
- Nikki (9/5): Superb - We loved our stay here , the room had a lovely view of the mosque. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is situated right in the middle of old deli and it is chaotic which we loved but It could be a bit intimidating if you’ve never been to India before. The rooftop restaurant is so much better than it looks in the photos, the atmosphere , music , food and view was absolutely incredible. Could do with some new towels.
- Grace (2/5): Just say no to this property! - I liked the view of Jama Masjid. The location in the midst of a crush of desperate humanity, filthy conditions, vile smells… just say no to this property! Everything about the hotel was haphazard. It was filthy. Staff played on their phones in the stairwells. Coffee maker didn’t work. They were working on the lobby so you escaped one toxic outside odor for a different toxic inside odor. On the Expedia site the hotel says breakfast for 500 rupees. We asked the restaurant what we got for breakfast and there was no deal. Whatever you ordered, you paid for! The taxis and tuktuks didn’t want to venture down there near Gate 3 because traffic never stopped and they feared getting stuck in the tangle. Do yourself a favor and do not stay in this area… take a taxi to the jama masjid, have a look around and leave!
- Mohamed (8/5): Very good -
- Carola (9/5): Superb - The roof top bar and restaurant is truly amazing. We felt so lucky to have picked this hotel and get to eat delicious food with an amazing view every evening ! In the evening it can be hard to reach the area of the hotel because the traffic totally collapses. Several times uber drivers dropped us off before reaching the hotel because they could not get any further, which left us in some rather dangerous situations.
- David (4/5): Disappointing - Overpriced and not very friendly staff. Don’t recommend this area of Old Delhi for women.
- Joyce (9/5): Good Stay in Old Delhi - Location is convenient to visit the Mosquee and not far from the red fort. Not the best area in Delhi as it’s the old town but good if you are looking for bazars and markets. Comfy beds and nice room with refrigerator and shower with with hot water. A bit of a smell of smoke when we first got in the room.
- Mohammad (9/5): Superb -
- Ubaid (10/5): Exceptional - Prompt Hospitality Services.
- Julia (7/5): A great hotel in Old Delhi! - The hotel is in the middle of Old Delhi near Jama Masjid. It is very clean and comfortable. The bed was large and we slept well. The shower was also consistently hot and the rooms have a kettle and small refrigerator. The rooms are reasonably insulated from the noise outside, but it helps to have earplugs. There is a good breakfast restaurant and a very popular restaurant on the top floor. Both are great.
This is a great hotel for the area, which offers guests a comfortable and clean little oasis amongst the chaos. The staff are also very helpful and friendly. We like to stay in Old Delhi but it’s not for everyone. It can be noisy and chaotic
- Tony (8/5): Very good -
- Amy (8/5): Very good -
- Nikita (10/5): Stopover in Delhi - Room is clean and very well equiped. Fantastic view to Jama Masjid. Hotel reception personel is great and ready to help with anything. Location is fine for Old Delhi vibe seekers. Perfect for 1-2 days stopover. All good, nothing to add
- Sharif (8/5): Co-operative front office personnel. Specially Mr Azad. - Location was great. Nearby metri station. Awsome food.
- Hattie (5/5): If you want somewhere to stay close to the old town this fulfil this, however it is very loud and not overly calm place - The location was great and very close to Red Fort and Old town. The Gumbad Cafe at the top of the hotel was v good and the views were nice from here. Staff helped to organise some trips. Bedroom had no window or natural light , hotel was incredibly loud at all hours of the day and night and the towels were not clean. Other than the cafe at the top there is no other communal hotel area to sit in.
- Alona (10/5): Exceptional - I liked the both restaurants and the gorgeous view from them. Also I liked that the hotel located near Chandni chawk market.
- Parveen (1/5): They had refused the accomadation -
- Magdalini (10/5): Exceptional - Has the best view from the restaurant on roof top.The room is very clean with airconticion. The hotel is to the heart of old delhi. The stuff is very kind and help us a lot for everyithing. The restaurant has very good food in normal prices and nice vibes! I have a wonderful stay!!
- Faraz (9/5): Superb -

- Abrar (10/5): Overall good - Location was wonderful, ease of access, quality and well maintained with polite staff We are pleased to let you know that the accommodation has confirmed they will be able to arrange this for you. There will be no extra charge for this request. we checked in at 10.pm and requested to check out at 4pm. but were asked to leave at 2pm, why did they accept our online request then?
- Annika (7/5): Good -
- Daniel (9/5): Would recommend especially the restaurant - Excellent location and great restaurant upstairs. The twin room as pokey and they couldn’t split the beds in the double rooms
- Syed (7/5): Good -
- Sydneyraj (9/5): Well furnished hotel located next to Jama Masjid - Friendly and helpful reception guys, especially the guy I checked in and out with, sorry I didn't ask your name. Other hotel staff were also friendly.
Amazing location right next to Jama Masjid. Nicely furnished cafe at rooftop with views of Masjid.
My room was spacious with high ceiling, well furnished with king size bed, aircon, TV and with view of Jama Masjid. Toiletries as well as slippers, comb, shower cap, earbuds etc are provided. Kettle and tea items are also provided.
I felt very safe and at home at the hotel. Bed sheets are not provided. However, a comfortable doona is provided should you need to keep warm.
