• Beverley (9/5): Great would definitely pick here again ! - Very safe/ secure all doors coded so no need for keys. Loved the area compared to more touristy/ loud areas. Room was spotless and cleaned daily. The shared kitchen was lovely & handy. Great terrace for catching the late sun. Plus easy to use secure luggage storage when needed. Fabulous 👍 Can be a bit loud in the early mornings as guests talk loud, enter door codes and doors bang etc - ear plugs solved that !

• Susan (8/5): Very REAL in Principle Real - Location, spacious size of rooms. Warm atmosphere. Easy checking but no staff in sight. Seeing a person on duty will be nice. Odour in entrance and kitchen, carpets up the stairs are dirty does not make good first impression . Liquid soap or soap was not topped up . Water in room was not replenished.

• Claudia (10/5): - We had a great stay: The rooms are cozy, stylish, and clean. As a pleasant surprise, we were upgraded to a larger room than we booked. The shared kitchen was perfectly equipped (including coffee and tea). The host was very nice and welcoming. Also great location to get into the city by walking - and to reach the Airport.

• Claudia (10/5): Rundum toll - Wirklich tolles Gästehaus, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles sauber und neuwertig. Schöne, charmante Zimmer und eine toll ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche. Wer früher anreist oder später abreisen möchte, kann seine Koffer in einem eigenen Schließfach einschließen. Sehr netter Gastgeber. Würde in jedem Fall wieder buchen.

Great breakfast and parking. - Location was magical, although I wish we had done more research into how to get to the castles because that was a little bit of a struggle. Pro tip: don't worry about calling an uber, just stand outside the property and someone will be able to pick you up and bring you to to the top. Our shower was a little unexpected and required some creative solutions to make sure the floor didn't get wet. Other than that, our stay was great!

• Nivea (8/5): Confortável, porém enclausurada, já que as janelas dão para uma área comum a outros hóspedes, incluindo a janela do banh - Localização e conforto. Iluminação? O quarto da para uma varanda ótima, mas que os outros hóspedes tem acesso tb, ou seja, não pode deixar a janela aberta, nem apenas o vidro, pois não tem cortina. Então precisa fechar a parte de madeira o que deixa o quarto extremamente escuro.

• S M (8/5): Fijne uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Lissabon - Prima kamer met badkamer, schoon, goede bedden. Goede uitvalsbasis om Lissabon te bezoeken: metro en bussen om de hoek, trammetje voor de deur. Pastel de nata en goede koffie op 50 meter van het guesthouse, supermarktje in de buurt. Goede wifi, goede keukenfaciliteiten, terras , vriendelijke en goed bereikbare contactpersoon. Ligt aan een drukke straat, echter de ramen en luiken isoleren goed en je hoort niets van het verkeer.

• NICOLA (8/5): Bel soggiorno a Lisbona - Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura e ci siamo trovati molto bene. L’ambiente è pulito, ordinato e confortevole, con servizi adeguati e ben organizzati. Abbiamo apprezzato in particolare la cura per la camera: il letto è stato rifatto e gli asciugamani cambiati durante il soggiorno, dettaglio non scontato e molto gradito. Nel complesso siamo rimasti piacevolmente stupiti dall’esperienza, che è stata assolutamente positiva. L’unico aspetto migliorabile riguarda il riscaldamento: il servizio di aria calda non era sufficiente e la camera risultava piuttosto fredda. Viaggiando a gennaio, con pioggia e umidità, è stato difficile riscaldare adeguatamente l’ambiente. Nonostante questo, il soggiorno è stato piacevole e consigliamo comunque la struttura. • Lori (9/5): The guesthouse was perfect for our last minute getaway to Lisbon. We would stay here again. - This was a perfect last minute find. Clean. Close to transportation. We loved the cleanliness and the character of the building. It was comfortable and we loved hearing Lisbon life out our window! I wish the towels had been softer but they were clean and large and refreshed daily. No other concerns or complaints. Very clean and close to everything.
• Kinga (7/5): Good place, especially location - Clean, central, comfy bed. Good stay It was super noisy. I think if we got room from the terrace side it would be perfect. But our window faced very busy and noisy street, so it was unpleasant to open the window.

The information sent after booking only mentioned what’s inside the room and didn’t highlight about shared spaces and kitchen. I was wondering where the kitchen or tea/coffee facilities were. There was a board on the passageway which could have gone indicated the kitchen location. It was good that there was a window but it looked like a door and didn’t realise initially. I also felt the need of a reading table as I needed to have some work done.

There was quite a long staircase to get up to the second bedroom, but there was a second bathroom there as well so no need to go up and down the stairs in the middle of the night. The location was excellent - easy to get around, and there was a paid parking lot nearby.

Good mattress. Best neighborhood, my favorite neighborhood—RATO and Principe Real. Close to Anum café (the best coffee) and Honest Greens, other great restaurants and path towards baixa chiado. Private ensuite bathrooms. Communal kitchen space (no cooking) You can leave your luggage there. Just Love it. You do need earplugs. Bring earplugs if you’re sensitive to noise. For me that is zero issue.

• Lett (8/5): Well located, clean & spacious room. - This is a clean and well located large, spacious room with a big bathroom. It is an old building so has all the expected problems in this country - stairs, plumbing smell, mould etc - but these have been well managed. The kitchen is not particularly well resourced but was fine for a quick breakfast and microwave dinner.

• Mercuur (9/5): Great location! Modern amenities with Portuguese flair. - The location was perfect for strolling to all the nearby spots — loved that! The bed was super cozy, I slept like a dream. The bathroom was spacious and just right for two people. I really appreciated having shampoo, body wash, and soap provided — that’s such a nice touch. The unit has plenty of convenient spots to charge our devices, which was a lifesaver. We used the shared kitchen and left some goodies in the fridge to share — it’s always fun to exchange snacks! We were out exploring most of the day, so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the outdoor patio, but it looked really inviting. And at night, the windows did a great job keeping out noise, so we could enjoy some peaceful sleep. The unit was cleaned every day, and I wish I could have seen the friendly faces of the folks who took such good care of it! When we arrived, we had a bit of a hard time finding the front door since the address on Google Maps isn’t quite accurate, so we ended up wandering around for a little while. Also, the first entryway door is a bit tough to push open – my partner usually had to give it a good shove, as it’s a bit harder than it looks!
• Valeriia (10/5): I would definitely stay again - Location for me was perfect, as it was near places that I needed. To the city center it takes approx. 25 min walking but you can use Bolt/Uber (it will cost around 3-4euros). Room was clean, everyday ladies were changing towels and making the bed.
• Helena (10/5): - Pequeno hostel, mas perfeito! Adoramos o quarto, e da decoração que nada compromete a estética arquitectónica do edifício. A localização é óptima. Tem metro, autocarros e elétricos a 2 minutos a pé. Tem supermercados a 5 minutos o que é interessante, caso queira usar a cozinha do hostel, que tem tudo o que precisa 🤗! O anfitrião disponibiliza chá e café, um miminho que cai sempre bem 🤗! À chegada tínhamos duas águas no quarto, outro detalhe que faz a diferença! E ainda tivemos limpeza diária ao quarto 🤗.

• Hongfeng (10/5): Great location and comfortable stay - Location is perfect, minutes walk from buses and metro station. Easy to get food or drink nearby. Room has a juliet balcony, but window might let outdoors noise come in, even when fully closed. We stayed weekend, so I definitely felt parties happened outside on street. Room is clean, and shared kitchen is clean too, there is mid size fridge, microwave and convection oven. All utensils and plates. There are easy bags for coffee, sugar, tea etc, but no salt, pepper or oil if you need cook anything basic or add flavour. Overall good, except noise, no lobby person or in person greeting, just an email from owner for all entry codes and wifi password.

• Ina (8/5): - Guter Style, geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Zimmer nach vorne zur Strasse sind nicht zu empfehlen, weil sehr laut. Es hat im Zimmer unangenehm nach Farbe u.ä. gerochen.
• Menora (10/5): - + accessibility (busses + tram!) + amazing bakery around the corner (pastelaria 1800), opens at 6am and still open at 11pm so it's perfect for getting something to eat if you have late/early flights + authentic Portuguese building, old and charming + feels like a home, spacious kitchen, large bathroom + convenient check in with keypad + daily cleaning = shower takes a few minutes to warm up = the hot and cold knobs work in different directions. = busy road outside, so it is safe to walk at night, but also can be loud. ask for room on the garden side if you can. = on the first floor, and there are a few steps down from the foyer to the bedroom inside the suite, so it could be an issue for those with mobility issues (but ok for me)

• Haaland-Aas (5/5): Noisy, but nice and spacious rooms. - Nice room, very spacious and with a cute bathroom. Location was pretty good, near some nice cafes, restaurants and the metro. If you’re not a light sleeper this probably is good value for money, if not I would find another hotel. My room and most of the other rooms are facing a very busy street and I could hear the traffic all day and through the night. Did not sleep much the first night. Also a lot of codes to get in which is inconvenient. Bed was quite hard.
