• Paul (10/5): Excellent! - Great location. Great breakfast. Very welcoming! Sue was at hand with an umbrella a few seconds after I arrived that rainy morning. Very clean. Plenty of high pressure hot water in the bathroom.

• wildrover57 (10/5): Enjoyable & relaxing 2 night stay - Our second stay at this lovely guesthouse. Great base at which to immediately settle in to home-like environment. Sue very kindly told us we could check-in early as soon as the room had been prepared. After an early start from the airport, this allowed us to drive to Hout Bay to stretch legs and enjoy coffee before depositing bags and freshening up. We caught up with her again at breakfast time and enjoyed chatting with her while she served our breakfast. Guests are served at a big table in the vestibule or there are a couple of tables in the courtyard. Just a few rooms so all feels very friendly & laid back.
• Torsten (10/5): Bezauberndes B&B im Herzen von Newlands - Wir waren für 14 Tage zu Gast bei Sue und Steve und haben uns sehr wohl - fast wie zu Hause - gefühlt. Das Zimmer - wir hatten den Raum mit Balkon- war hübsch eingerichtet und auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt geeignet. Zimmer und Haus waren immer absolut sauber. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, alle Produkte von ausgewählter Qualität. Sue ist absolut bezaubernd. Sie ist auf eine Weise herzlich, die sofort Nähe und Vertrauen schafft. Sie ist die perfekte Gastgeberin, sorgt für alles, hilft und gibt Tipps. Ihre offene Art macht es leicht, sich mit allen Fragen an sie zu wenden. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Da gibt es nichts
• Lesley (10/5): Smashing! - Loved everything! We had the best nights sleep of our whole 2 weeks in SA. Sue is such a lovely host - we booked last minute and she was exceedingly warm and welcoming. The place was spotlessly clean and fresh. The pool looked lovely though i didn't get the chance to enjoy it. And she does a smashing breakfast. Brilliant.

• Barbara (10/5): Lovely and comfortable. Would recommend this spot to anyone travelling to Cape Town! - I loved the look and feel of the premises. The room was lovely and quiet and comfortable. The Victorian Goose also provided for the unexpected change in the weather and provided warm extra blankets. The warm welcome from the hostess herself made me feel like they had been waiting for me the whole day. You do need to understand Cape Town traffic when exiting the road in which the entrance is on, but that is not the fault of the Victorian Goose - that is just Cape Town traffic.

• jayesh-h (10/5): Wonderful stay at a great location - The location in the heart of Claremont was great, allowing me to walk to places like the nearby Palmyra Junction. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was excellent. Bottled water was provided daily, and a few small snacks alongside the coffee station. The desk came in handy as a workstation when I needed to pull out my laptop for anything. Breakfast was top notch as well. Sue, the hostess greeted me on arrival, and was always friendly, willing to have a chat or provide assistance where necessary. All in all a wonderful stay! Nothing - everything was great.
