The room was very clean spacious and modern
The beds are very comfortable and the facilities are very good.
The breakfast went down a treat in the morning
We were there for a concert in the odyssey arena and walked there and back without complaints from the young ones.
Would definitely recommend
- Festamo (3/5): Zu teuer, dafür unbequeme Betten. - Lage Bett. Hotel in die Jahre gekommen. Zu teuer. Mageres Frühstück.
- marcella (10/5): Lovely hotel, great rooms and staff. Breakfast is just a bit a bit of focus - Lovely friendly accommodating staff.
Lovely room Cold coffee at breakfast from the pump flask.
No plates
I don't normally take breakfast but perhaps it was busy and staff busy but cold coffee and no plates is just not a relaxing start to the day! Especially when your paying for it

- marjorie (8/5): -
- Triona (10/5): -
- Juan Pablo (7/5): A convenient place to stay but not up to the standards of Marriot. - Location and convenience as close to bars and restaurants. It was not fully clean. There was dust in the room floors and the gym was dirty.
- kurtalj (10/5): -
- Stuart Blake-Hall (10/5): Hands down best hotel in Belfast - Fabulous hotel overall, reception staff friendly and helpful
Rooms clean and spacious and we had a fabulous view from the 8th Floor
Good location 15 min walk to centre of town
Parking just across from hotel with a reasonable rate for guests
Breakfast was delivered to the room on time and once again fabulous
Had stayed in a "5 star" hotel in centre of Belfast 3 weeks ago that cost significantly more, less facilities, staff just going through the motion and overall no comparison to the Marriott
Don't normally leave reviews but on this occasion hotel throughly deserved it
Would highly recommend to any travellers Nothing that would put me off staying again
- Maria Ramos (8/5): Good location - Location was very good. Easy to walk to the Titanic Experience and downtown. The room was spacious and breakfast had many options of foods. There was no way to plug the hair dryer next to a mirror but that seems to be an issue in these islands.
- Michael (10/5): -
- JACQUELINE DEVINE (10/5): - Views staff and room Nothing
- Rosemary (6/5): - Location Bar staff
- Rosemary (6/5): - Location Bar Staff
- John (8/5): This is a comfortable hotel in a good location. - Comfortable hotel with nice amenities. Parking is in a public garage across the street. Location is on the river and walkable to Cathedral district and Titanic district.
- Helene (10/5): Overall this hotel is brilliant- staff were the best iv ever come across! - The staff were absolutely brilliant- so helpful! My only problem was it was advertised 360 yards from the SSE arena! That is technically true if you have a Dingy!!!! My mam is not able to walk far and getting a taxi for a return journey was impossible!!! there for this is false advertising and please make note.. yes it’s a 10-15 minute walk of your able so perfect if you need to go here… the town is only 10 minute walk too… the hotel it’s self was faultless ! One of the best iv stayed in! It wasn’t 360 yards from the SSE arena -well it was if you had a dingy! But it was a 10/15 minute walk….
- Louise (9/5): -
- Madeleine (7/5): It was only grand. Staff were the best thing about it. - Convenient for the Arena. There was no water in our room.
The bar was closed when we arrived back from the concert we were attending. It had closed BEFORE the official closing hours had passed. Never experienced that before in any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Very disappointing!
- Binks (10/5): -
- Roger (10/5): Belfast trip - Super comfie bed, staff were exceptional, quality place to stay, restaurant meal was delicious. N/A
- Edgar (7/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): - Excellent location, friendly staff
- claire (7/5): -
- Mary (6/5): Very adequate for a short business stay in Belfast but I felt it fell short on the little extras. - Check in/out was very efficient and staff at the front desk were very obliging re ordering taxis etc. Room was comfortable. Food in the bar area was quite good. We did not have breakfast included. Hotel was very clean. Room was very comfortable but expensive for what it was. There was no water left in the room on either night. The toiletries were very basic, no shower cap which is very inconvenient. Service in the bar area was slow and poor at times.
- Penny (10/5): Staff were very friendly, hotel was extremely clean and perfect location. - The location
- Christiane (10/5): Very handy and comfortable for short stay in Belfast - Very friendly staff, easy check in and check out, parking in public car park across the road easy to use. We were pleasantly surprised to have our booking upgraded and got a top floor room with great views and peace and quiet Nothing
- Frances (7/5): Most agreeable easy walking distance to many sights - Well laid out room nice shower very comfortable bed love the air conditioning Instructions unclear about using elevator had trouble using curtains in the room. Got a shower shock 🙄put down to age!
- Olwyn (9/5): -
- lisaestey (10/5): Excellent - Beautiful hotel - rooms so clean and comfortable! Breakfast was excellent and being GF wasn't an issue!
- tkolner (10/5): This may be one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at! - Having spent hundred and hundreds of nights in mid level and upscale properties over the past 25 years (mostly Marriott and Starwood hotels), I’ve come to be very particular in what separates good from great. I think this one qualifies as among the latter.
Paula (General Manager of the AC Hotel Belfast) and her entire staff are to be commended!
The reason I know her name is she stops to greet guests when she’s passing through the lobby and other public areas. Too often I’ve witnessed managers rushing about their hotels, insisting staff treat guests a certain way but rarely doing so themselves.
Throughout our stay she continued to say hello and inquire about our accommodations and visits to the city.
The front desk staff made us feel welcome right away. We were checked in, handed our keys, answered a few of our questions and provided a quick layout of the property in a matter of minutes.
They were also available to assist with directions and ordering taxis when we needed. Most importantly, there was always someone at the front desk.
Our room was very comfortable and quiet. We faced the river and never heard any noise from the nearby motorway or neighboring rooms.
Housekeeping was efficient, effective and responsive to our needs. We enjoyed the big fluffy towels, robes and slippers, and comfortable bed.
The location is an easy walk or short taxi ride to the Titanic Belfast Museum, St. George’s Market and City Centre.
Not only would we stay here again on future trips to Northern Ireland, we DEFINITELY will.

- Hilary (10/5): Perfect short break location - The hotel is well located , near to the centre of Belfast. Our room was spacious and clean. It was well equipped with comfortable beds. Decaf tea and coffee options were provided and staff brought us some herbal teas, at our request. All the staff were pleasant and helpful.
- Annette (8/5): Lovely hotel stay on the water, would recommend! - Paid for a room upgrade upon arrival. Room was fantastic, staff and services were excellent. Hotel breakfast was disappointing. We arrived for breakfast before 9:30am on Saturday morning; the fresh fruit was nearly gone and there was no option to order from a menu. Buffet was fine but unexciting.
- Jack (1/5): Would not recommend better hotels and staff for half the price - Good views Staff were definitely the worst staff I’ve ever seen especially the ginger tramp and when arrived there was a toliet filled with poo nearly made me sick clearly don’t clean the rooms we just left and they wouldn’t refund us nothing

- Dawn (8/5): Lovely quiet but central location overlooking river. A great business stay. - Lovely quiet but still central location with river views.
Nice polite and helpful staff.
Very close by discounted parking opposite hotel (although we found free on street parking opposite too). Very business like, we went as a small group for leisure, lacked personal touches.
Basic room facilities when expected a little more for the cost and in comparison to other close by likeminded hotels.
Breakfast provided a good selection, produce on the other hand a tad on the processed cheap side.
No Irish Fayre offered which was disappointing.
- fiona (8/5): -
- Janette (10/5): - Excellent location. Food and bar great.
- Shaw (9/5): - Great food in Novelli restaurant.
- Chazzle2312 (10/5): Best service at breakfast! - Billy was amazing and so welcoming throughout my stay, he will sit his guests one by one and always makes sure to give you an introduction to the morning breakfast spread.
- Danae (10/5): -
- Connor (10/5): - Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel rooms were comfortable and clean. Dinner and Breakfast both lovely and it is an ideal location with easy access around the city We have no complaints about our stay

- Stay67947075329 (10/5): Cocktail week - Came to ac Marriott for cocktail week with my colleagues served by Alan marti charlie and Steven brilliant service great food totally recommend they did so much for us thanks again
- mrscoppo (8/5): Comfortable hotel in good location. - Comfortable hotel in nice location on the river. Good bar and restaurant, nice breakfast. Room was large and comfortable. Asked for a river view room when checking in which they were able to accommodate. Wood recommend.
- Gary (7/5): -
- Elaine (6/5): Great location, especially for Titanic and W5, don’t eat there. - The location Buffet breakfast was very disappointing with virtually no choice, especially for children. We were there at 10:30 the first morning and there was no coffee or milk available, instead of refilling the pot, it was simply taken away.
- Micheal (5/5): Overall an ok stay. Expensive hotel for what you get out of it. Doubt i'll be back again. - Hotel is in a great location, short walk to city centre while overlooking the river. Rooms are quiet at night and hotel is well presented. Springy bed, have definitely slept in more comfortable hotel beds. Breakfast was poor - no croissants and pastries out and had to wait for them to be brought. Asked for jam to go on toast but the hotel had run out of jam. Seriously! It's the lack of small attention to detail which makes breakfast poor enough.
- Stuart (9/5): Great spot to enjoy a great city - Quality hotel, good facilities Nothing
- josie (10/5): - Lovely hotel and staff. Walking distance to most things including the sse arena
- Charlie (10/5): -
- Elizabeth (8/5): -
- Guest (10/5): -
- Nyona (9/5): Lovely hotel stay - Lovely hotel in a great location. Rooms were great size and very comfortable. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was lovely though they seemed slow at refilling on the Sunday morning and choice of fruit was limited compared to the Saturday. But something for everyone's taste. Breakfast items low on the Sunday though hot food continually topped up
- Janette (9/5): - The location suited us for the Titanic experience and the cities pubs and restaurants.
Lovely view to the Lagan with the full length windows. We asked for a Premier double room and the room we stayed in was for accessibility guests. That meant that sinks are set lower usual. As we are both tall it was a bit awkward. That's being said the shower was great and plenty of space around the room. So it's just a very small dislike.
- Jacqueline (7/5): Great location. Spacious room. - Extremely convenient location with affordable car parking nearby Wasn’t easy to find the sitting area
Breakfast was okay
- Catherine (10/5): - Location fantastic for the SSE Arena, rooms clean and spacious, friendly accommodating staff, excellent breakfast selection
- davidfY5466ZG (2/5): Prepaid Dec. for March 'Accessable' room, which Vanished, by arrival - Early Dec.2025, we prepaid 3 bookings for a March 2026 stay, in king size river-view rooms (2 for long distance family, arriving Thurs. & our room, for just Friday).
We particularly specified our room was to be the necessary 'Accessible' option. We also advised Hotel that we would be very late, when returning from the Friday wedding.
For peace of mind, we double-checked all details of bookings, in person, on the Wed.
Having checked-in our bags, early Friday. Our family were with us, on our later actual arrival (as advised). We were understandably horrified to discover that our 'secured' & expected 'Accessible' king size river-view, had obviously been given to other persons.
A visibly panicking staff told us that the Hotel was full! Then proceeded to scramble a roughly assembled small (staff?) twin room, at a back corner of AC Marriott Hotel
My disabled partner was unimpressed & was very severely inconvenienced
Additionally, we were advised that a late check-out was impossible.
All the other members of our visiting family were also unimpressed & embarrassed by our disgusting situation.
I enclose partial copy of the AC Marriott Hotel 'Plan for your upcoming stay' Email, received on the Mon. prior to arrival.
- Moudy (9/5): Great location and view - The view and the room size The breakfast buffet is limited. A salad corner will be a great addition.
There is no bath tub.
- Lorna (9/5): - Great location
Staff very friendly
So walkable
Lovely shower
- Catherine (10/5): Great place to stay, this was my second visit and I will be back - Great location near the docks and clear de to where I was working. Staff incredibly helpful and accommodated my requests as a solo traveller.
Room well equipped, clean and a very comfy bed Can’t think of anything
