• Travel Insider (6/5): Disappointed in low standards. - Location is great and can walk to restaurants 5min to 20min away. Parking available, reasonable breakfast. Size of room is great. Unfortunately the hotel disappointed. Cleanliness of floors in the rooms and curtains is greatly lacking, bath is cracked, spider website in room and the open shower concept just creates a mess and makes the room smell of drain and damp. The sunbeds and pool also needs a clean. The WiFi is really weak. The breakfast is OK, but the croissants were burnt and the prices for meals were very expensive. The service was ok, but the lady who was there seems to be doing everything. Clean rooms, clean pool, service at restaurant, and check in/out. Maybe part of the low standards. Also they promote things on the website that's not available. It's unfortunate these things let us down because it can be great.

There were no staff whatsoever, just one lady member of staff who checked us in (eventually) as she was cleaning our room. No food, waiters . It was so different from the expected experience and we would not recommend it at all. It is not cared for and should not be advertised. Disgraceful for the money, the owners should be ashamed.

• juan luis (9/5): RELAX TOTAL Y DISFRUTADA DE LA VIDA. - El lugar es idílico, las habitaciones un lujo con esas bañeras y lavabos de piedra, y la cama supergrande y cómoda, el servicio muy bueno, desayuno excelente y la comida un placer deleitarse con esa variedad de sabores. lo recomiendo para descansar, desconectar y para que tu cuerpo libere esas bonitas energías de disfrutar de esa estancia en ese bonito lugar. ah! y las hamacas a pie de playa y para los huéspedes, un 10, porque la playa se estaba de lujo. Gracias al personal por su buen trato y a la chica argentina estupenda y muy amable. GRACIAS Que hacia aire y los arboles tenían aquello con hojas, pero, se lleva bien.

• Suzanne (1/5): Zeer slechte accomodatie - Niets, zeer slecht. Te duur voor een belabberd verblijf . Personeel was wel behulpzaam en het ontbijt was oke. Alles! Accomodatie is veel te duur. Accommodatie verkeert in zeer slechte staat en is het geld niet waard. Gelukkig maar 2 nachten geboekt en dat was al een verschrikking.
• ALBERTO (8/5): - La ubicación es buenísima. El entorno es muy bonito y el diseño de las habitaciones es especial. El personal es muy simpático. En general da sensación de un poco de dejadez. El jardín, grifos que no funcionan, la cisterna del inodoro que también fallaba, el estado de las tumbonas de la playa, etc... Es una pena porque es un hotel con un encanto especial.

Y no lo recomiendo - Vas con la ilusión y expectativa de vivir unos días de desconexión, en los que te van a tratar y vas a descansar como lo necesitas y sufres una decepción absoluta. La falta de mantenimiento de la instalaciones, limpieza de las habitaciones, comodidades dentro de ellas, y un largo etcétera. Solo invitan a sentirte que te has equivocado en la elección, en depositar esa ilusión y confianza y que has tirado el dinero. No volvería ni lo recomiendo.

• Gabriela (10/5): Maravilloso - Desde mi experiencia puedo decir que en el momento que llegas sientes la tranquilidad del lugar, naturaleza en estado puro, creo que son pocos los lugares hoy en día en los que puedes sentir que estás lejos de la civilización, de las carreras, del agobio. Debo decir también que al principio iba un poco asustada por las reseñas negativas que había leído, pero supongo que si uno busca un sitio como este, que es por decirlo sin repetirme ”salvaje” no se puede pretender que no existan arañas, ni telarañas, ni hojas por doquier, las hay porque estas en un entorno natural, si acaso hay que irse al cemento. La limpieza de la habitación era correcta, la bañera redonda en la terraza una pasada!! Y lo mejor, la belleza y serenidad incomparable de esta zona junto con la amabilidad y el servicio tan atento y amable del BOIUTIQ HOTEL BOTANIQ hacen que te sientas muy a gusto y repongas las pilas. Sin duda un sito único, al cual espero volver. Muchas gracias por todo!
• DA DEPPO (7/5): Struttura senz’altro valida e con un piccolo sforzo in più sarebbe completamente all’altezza delle aspettative. Ad ogni - Struttura con molto potenziale offre delle camere confortevoli con vasca all’interno e vasca con doccia nel patio privato che offre una privacy totale. La piscina immersa nel giardino accogliente viste le poche camere della struttura e la posizione a pochi passi dal mare dove si trovano ombrelloni e lettini ad uso privato. Spiaggia quasi privata visto la pochissima gente che la frequenta almeno nella zona dedicata alla struttura ricettiva. La pulizia generale della struttura in particolare della camera, molti i dettagli che sarebbero da migliorare visto il livello della struttura ed il prezzo non sono tollerabili come tende ingiallite dalla doccia interna, o altri particolari rovinati dell’arredamento. All’esterno purtroppo la presenza di molte piante che sono un valore aggiunto ma al contempo gli spazi andrebbero puliti meglio non è possibile trovare gli imbottiti sporchi dagli escrementi degli uccelli.

A bit rough around the edges, could do with some tweaking on the maintenance side , ie decking around pool and other small trip hazards.

• Rachael (7/5): Almost an amazing resort. - This hotel could be amazing. It consists of 14 rooms in quite an idyllic location with a private beach. The staff are amazing as is the breakfast that we had every morning. The resort is tired and really could benefit from some TLC. It is run by minimal staff who all work incredibly hard to deliver an amazing service-thank you. A mix up over room type caused us an issue which was resolved but lead to us having to move rooms part way through our holiday. Rooms in the 100 block have no view and appear quite run down from the outside. Room 504 is the best room in the resort with sea views and a tub on the terrace.

The room was very modern, however:- Bathroom door hinges creaked needed forcing on opening it sounded like a gun shot. Great for sleeping! The maid’ cleaning and bed making were appalling. Couldn’t use safe as no English instructions available. No kettle could be provided despite being advertised. Had to ask for second pillows.

I loved being just steps away from the beach, and having a private, shaded area to relax in made it even more special. Everything felt thoughtfully designed for comfort and calm. Staff were helpful and kind. The restaurant food was special - we had a fabulous dinner there one night. Nothing at all - although as personal preference I prefer a separate bathroom - this was open plan.

The amenities around the hotel were top notch and again quality. The food was beautifully presented and of an extremely high standard. Great breakfast each morning was a good variety and choice. The staff were friendly and courteous and could not do enough to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Many thanks guys. If you are after a quiet, relaxing comfortable holiday/break we could not recommend the Hotel Botaniq enough. If you don't want to use a car then public transport is 150 metres away. Cannot recommend enough and look forward to returning. Cannot think of anything to mention to make our stay better.

• Moira (10/5): Perfect location. Friendly and efficient service - This small hotel is set in a lovely location right on the beach with sea views and a laid back feel. The outdoor bath was a lovely feature. Patricia greeted us warmly and her service was excellent. Breakfast was a la carte with many choices. My only criticism is that we were not given a complimentary bottle Of drinking water in the room which I would expect in a hotel of This calibre.
• Rose (10/5): Very remote location right on the beach. So quiet & relaxing. - Patricia was an amazing hostess. She was very helpful & took care of everything we needed. She is a very special person. The hotel is lucky to have her. We used the hotel as a home base to explore the amazing coastline in the area. If you are looking for 5 star perfection, this hotel is not for you. If you want a place that transports you into a state of relaxation, this is your hotel.

• Jane (10/5): A hidden gem - This boutique hotel is quite special. On the beach, easy parking, wonderful spacious rooms with private patios and outdoor baths (inside too) and charming staff. Vegetation keeps the rooms private. All in all...just lovely.
• Belen (10/5): Exceptional - I love we were into the nature and it didn't look like Almería. The outside decoration reminds Thailand o a similar place A bit overpriced. We had a ketttle in the room but without tea or coffee.

• Sharon (4/5): Disappointing - The location was lovely. Patricia, on the reception, was so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good but your order all came together hot with cold. The thing that did make our stay unpleasant was the attitude of the waitresses. When asking for extra coffee or juice, throwing things down on the table muttering rudely when walking away. A smile and good manners speak volumes, which these girls didn't have.

Un peu trop à mon goût j’aime mieu des toilettes avec une vraie porte et pas en verre ou on voit au travers… tout est ouvert donc vraiment spécial. Hôtel directement sur la plage mais assez « loin » de la mer. Et pas vraiment de vue mer au sens où on pourrait l’imaginer. Bref je n’ai pas été convaincu. Mais l’endroit est beau le personnel sympa et mention spéciale pour le restaurant qui est tout de même un peu cher pour la région…
• Jan (8/5): Very good - - Great breakfast options (a la carte) - The whole facility including the rooms and the restaurant are really beautiful - Perfect location - directly at the beach - The staff was very friendly and helpful - The bathroom could be in better condition - when you shower it floods the whole bathroom, including the toilet space and the water even goes into the actual room - The "private" outside bath tub is visible from the pathways and other rooms - so not as much privacy as expected
• Anonymous (7/5): Beautiful room but not great location - Our bedroom was really lovely, the nicest room we gave stayed in. Staff friendly Be aware the toilet in the room is not private- so wouldn’t be ideal for a couple not comfortable with that. The hotel not as private and picturesque as the website makes out but all perfectly fine.

• Katie (4/5): Photos are very out of date. - Having paid a premium for the luxury terrace, we expected a terrace like the photos. Instead, we faced a dirty, tired, messy space we didn’t go near it was so disgusting. The grounds near our room were more like a waste yard. Rusting is apparent all over the room. No coffee facilities, no glasses provided in the room. Nothing. No ironing board on site. The pool was always full of leaves, no effort to clean it at all during the day. The staff were pretty unpleasant, any time we asked for anything (coffee, water, taxi etc) it was like we were putting them out. Cannot recommend this place at all. Oh and the tortilla for breakfast. I have eaten a lot of tortilla in Spain and this one tasted disgusting, synthetic, almost weirdly sweet and musty.

• Andrew (7/5): Nice location but not quite boutique status - A lovely little hotel right on the beach, the new English speaking receptionist was so helpful and friendly The attention to detail just wasn’t their for a so called boutique hotel. We wanted a bath but the only way to get hot water was through the shower head, the water for the sink was only hot! For what we paid in that location I would expect everything to work as you would expect
