- Andrea (10/5): A very special stay! - The view from the room was spectacular! We were greeted with such friendliness from nanni and he pointed out some great things to do the next day. Even on the day we left he told us some suggestions of where to go on the next part of our journey. He has a great sense of humour and also the place has got some incredible style and renovation work. It is a very unique place and I would highly recommend staying here. We had two nights. They have truly thought of every single detail including topping up your water in the fridge providing umbrellas if necessary and giving maps and directions of places to go. He helped us find a parking space which was safe located very near to the establishment. It really is a relaxing place to stay and very quirky. The walk into Ragusa is easy from the location even though it looks far away from the room. We really enjoyed the location. The breakfast was excellent and this was served on the beautiful terrace overlooking that incredible view towards the Duomo. Nothing it’s fabulous!!

- Ann (10/5): Romantic, beautiful, outstanding service—an unforgettable experience. - This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The view from the terrace is stunning. The rooms are simple and well provided with small comforts. The bed was very comfortable. The staff, especially Nanni, were extraordinarily helpful, friendly and also funny! Many thanks to them for all the extra services they provided including printing of personal documents. The view from the terrace over breakfast and late in the evening on the neighbouring promontory of Ibla makes the place unforgettable. Highly recommend this property to adult travellers, couples, friends. An excellent place from which to explore nearby sites. Parking is a real challenge in medieval villages in Sicily! But with Nanni’s expert and energetic help all difficulties were overcome.

- GM (10/5): - We really loved our 3 nights here. The little hotel has an amazing location with a great view, wonderful breakfast, and friendly, helpful staff. But the fact that it's perched high in the old town makes it really special. We fell in love with Ragusa and that was partly due to our stay in this great place. We knew this going in, but be aware that the location requires a willingness to do lots of walking up and down stone steps in the old town. But it's so unique and beautiful (lots of great spots for sunset viewing) that it's worth it. And the hotel has some "secret steps" that can be a short cut.

We booked the more expensive room, which was well worth it, with a private little terrace overlooking Ragusa Ibla- it was magical. The staff were charming, relaxed and accommodating. L'accueil, la gentillesse de Nanni et ce B&B est tout ce que l'on adore, la beauté, le calme, la propreté, l'emplacement. Le petit balcon de la chambre sur une vue sublime est magique Le petit déjeuner est dingue, sa terrasse l'est tout autant. Une vraie merveille. Nous y retournerons.
- David (10/5): A superb B&B in the heart of old Ragusa. - A superb B&B in the heart of old Ragusa. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable with excellent views. The breakfast was excellent and served on the terrace overlooking the old town. Nanni was very friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations of places to visit and carrying our luggage up the steep stairs. The B&B has a 'secret' door that leads straight into the UNESCO monuments and there is an excellent restaurant and bar three minutes walk away. The B&B has a bar but doesn't serve drinks on the terrace in the evening, which would have been nice.

Please know that the area is geographically hilly, so you do have to walk up and down steep hills and up and down stairs to move around. With that said, the hotel was about 10 to 15’ walk to Ragusa Ibla city centre; so not very close, but still ok. Our room was big, clean and comfortable! Staff was friendly and really helpful. They guided us upon arrival to park the car nearby. Breakfast was excellent :) and always served with a smile.

From the moment we stopped our car outside the front door and Nanni rushed out to help us unload our luggage and find a parking space, our stay was truly amazing. Our room, a triple, was large with a balcony view of Ragusa Ibla that was sensational day and night. The room comes with an espresso maker and water kettle, which is unusual in our experience here in Sicily. The shower was the best we have found. The breakfast was wonderful and we loved the way it was presented (not a buffet). The terrace on which breakfast is served has a great view and was amply shaded by large umbrellas. Although you have to be prepared for lots of stairs in Ragusa, the town is built on a hill after all, our room, which was on the top floor of the hotel was just a straight walk in from the entry. No stairs to navigate with luggage. The hotel is well located for everything Ragusa Ibla has to offer and for easy drives into the countryside and neighboring towns. The sea is very close and perfect for a lunch or dinner. We stayed three nights; I would have been happy to stay another three. There were no negatives for us.

A very spacious room that was carefully supplied with all we would want for our stay. Great personnel taking care of guests, including Nanni, the owner, Debora, on check-in, and all the very pleasant other staff. The breakfast was generous and for us tailored to our plant-based biases. This has not been common on our trip and we really appreciated it. Would recommend very highly. No complaints

- de foer (10/5): Wow. - Alles (grote mooie kamer en badkamer, genereus ontbijt, ideale ligging, zeer vriendelijk personeel) maar toch vooral het uitzicht vanuit onze kamer (en het ontbijtterras net eronder): zou zomaar op de cover van een reisgids over Sicilië kunnen staan. Dat het de lat zo hoog legde dat alle andere verblijven in onze rondrit een beetje tegenvielen in vergelijking hiermee. Zou wel eens onze mooiste en beste B& B ooit kunnen zijn.

- van der Wielen (10/5): - Die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Inhabers , die problemlose und geduldige Kommunikation , die Möglichkeit des früheren Eincheckens und die Hilfe beim Finden eines Parkplatzes waren großartig. Einfach traumhaft ist die Lage und die Terrasse, auf der bei gutem Wetter ein hervorragendes Frühstück serviert wird. Nicht zu vergessen: Das Bett ist sehr bequem. Wir haben uns absolut wohl gefühlt. Das Bad ist sehr klein, zumindest in dem Zimmer im Nebengebäude. Im Haupthaus sieht es wahrscheinlich anders aus. Aber das ist eben der Charme eines historischen Gebäudes mitten in der Ibla. Es hat uns nicht gestört.

- Manuela (9/5): - Wir haben ein besseres Zimmer erhalten, als gebucht. Das Frühstück wurde liebevoll hergerichtet und war vielfältig, am 1. Tag waren wir die einzigen Gäste. Sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Gastgeber. Parken war in den Straßen gut möglich, vorm Haus zum Ein- und Ausladen auch kein Problem. Der Hinterausgang in die Altstadt.

Having traveled extensively around the world and experienced many different styles and standards of accommodation, we can honestly say that the view here ranks among our top three ever. It was simply breathtaking. The property was spotless, and the location was perfect. The hot shower was fantastic — powerful and soothing, almost massaging away our travel fatigue, which is something we don’t always find in other B&Bs. Most importantly, the hospitality shown by Nanni was truly exceptional. He was professional, attentive, and made sure every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. He kindly helped us store our luggage and genuinely went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and served with great care. We’re not sure when we’ll be ab le to return to Ragusa, as we live in the USA, but if we do, we would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

He helped us to get a taxi to the hotel and held our luggage for us while we stayed in town after check out. He has a fun personality and runs a great hotel. I definitely would recommend his property and would return but next time we will stay for more than one night. 😊 Nothing

- Michael (8/5): Very nice, enjoyed the location, very comfortable walk to either of the central areas of town - The terrace balcony for our room was very nice and offered a wonderful view of Ragusa Ibla. The room size was adequate and the bathroom facility was clean and functional. The breakfast was nice and the same items and portions were delivered to each table, in our case we would have requested a smaller amount and skipped some items to avoid wasting it.

Die Zimmer sind super schön eingerichtet und bieten einen tollen comfort! Das Frühstück ist außergewöhnlich gut (vielseitig, am Tisch und und kann bei toller Kulisse eingenommen werden! ). Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war super freundlich sowohl während des Aufenthaltes als auch davor! Rückblickend hätten wir für unsere Rundreise hier sehr gerne mehr Zeit eingeplant. Es war alles perfekt!

Ci ha accolto benissimo dandoci aiuto con l'auto e le valige,ci ha dato delle dritte su dove mangiare e posti da visitare. Il b&b ha una terrazza dove fare colazione con un affaccio panoramico meraviglioso. Cosa dire...lo consiglieremo ai nostri amici.
