Guest Reviews

- Vladislav (6/5): Could be better. - Location was convenient for my needs. Despite the fact this is a pub with rooms it does not serve food. Even when sign outside says "food served". I was advised by the host to use takeaway or drive 3 miles to the neatest place that serves food.
- Linda (4/5): Toilet didn’t flush black rim in the water Kettle still had water in it plus🥴 - Friendly staff Parking and room needed TLC
- Steven (10/5): Cody clean and comfortable with great staff - Staff and owners excellent. Clean and comfortable room. Downstairs bar and locals always welcoming Nothing.

- Alison (8/5): Wonderful location, spacious flat. - I stayed in a 2 bed flat owned by the Bridge Inn, situated a short walk away. Lovely top floor flat with secure entry, great views, very spacious, light and so cozy (I stayed in January). Close to amenities like shops, cafes, buses and wonderful walks. If the owners installed the internet I'd definitely stay again and for longer. The kitchen wasn't very well equiped (no sieve or colander and limited food prep knives) but that could easily be fixed with a trip to Ikea.
However, the biggest improvement would be having the internet installed in the flat, then it would attract people wanting to stay for longer or who were travelling for business.

- Jackie (8/5): Comfortable. Friendly. Good value. - Breakfast is not available but that is clear from the start and reflected in a very fair price. Plenty of coffee shops nearby The staff explained fully that there is a major extension planned to accommodate better access. Therefore when they do this in 2026 it will allow them to upgrade the rooms. So, improvements are in the way!
- Donis (6/5): - Everything was okay except for the bed. The bed was as hard as a rock, made sleeping very uncomfortable
- Alan (7/5): Exactly what we paid for and expected. - No breakfast supplied which was fine as we expected and paid for accordingly this was not a problem for us as we only do cereal for breakfast and we tak it with us. No problem's
- Maureen (3/5): - The bed was comfortable Toilet seat not secure, shower not clean. Drilling dust on bedroom floor.
- Lee (8/5): -
- Dennis (4/5): - Bed was clean and tidy good clean towels tea/coffee supply good Hotel is rather tired and in need of freshening up the room and bathroom both require freshening
- Joseph (5/5): - Short commute There wasn't any parking
- Matt (1/5): Very disappointing - Room 2, Beds were to hard, the sink water cam up the bath plug hole, the curtais did not block out the street light right outside the window, the outside is run down and not at all like the picture, the hallways are dimly lit.
- Maaya R. Khan (8/5): It was not bad - It was good . Basic and what I needed when I was very tired from a very long trip and drive. Place could do with better airfreshner , a phone in the room to connect to reception as it was too long walk to it for a toilet roll.
- Roswitha (7/5): - good for the money, nice bar downstairs, very friendly staff
- Dale (10/5): -
- Gregor (1/5): Cold - The locals were a good laugh. The room had no heating for 3 days. Was promised £100 refund still not received. Manager blocked my number. Owner no where to be found apparently. Had to leave early.
- Stuart (7/5): Expectations far better than expected - Excellent value for money if anything too cheap to be fair Good staff made us very welcome
- Margaret (10/5): - We arrived early, abd the young lady at reception, was so polite and couldnt be more helpful.. Janette and tge staff were amazing. We will be back.
- Anne (9/5): -

- susan (7/5): Perfect for a night away with friends - Staff were very friendly. Bar was fun for a late night drink after our night out Room was adequate but a bit dated
- Steven (10/5): -
- Darren (1/5): - None of it Place was covered in damo as smelling carpets were disgusting
- Steven (9/5): Had a great time in the real Scottish outback. Met with the locals and was made really welcome . - Excellent location , lovely people, close to many of the great Scottish atractions, made us feel very comfortable and ensured we wanted for nothing The site was undergoing renovations but was not a problem
- Nicolae (5/5): -
- Silke Norway (4/5): Never again - Staff was helpful and friendly The room was dirty, the carpets absolutely stinking, dirty. The wallpaper was loose and extremely dirty. The shower full of mould all over all a big dirty disappointment.
- Martyn (10/5): - Last minute booking due to a bit of an emergency, really helpful. Nice, basic room. Very comfy.
- Andy (9/5): - Basic, clean and cheap rooms. What more do you need. Staff were very friendly. Nothing.
- Jake (6/5): -
- SilverCityExplorer (6/5): The Bridge Inn - Room for improvement - The staff were helpful and friendly. The bed linen and towels were clean. The location was convenient. There were some good views of the Ochil Hills from the inn. The decor was old and tired and there were holes in the walls where fixtures have been removed. The cleaning standard was generally poor. The plumbing system was making strange noises all night. We had to have the window open for ventilation - The traffic on the road outside was constant most of the night, so it was a bit noisy. There was nowhere to hang towels. The shared kitchen was disgusting - everything we touched felt greasy. There are signs saying you have to wash everything you use and put it away but the tea towels provided were filthy.

- derek (10/5): - staff where amazing ao friendly
- Joanne (4/5): Not great value fir money - The location suited our requi The room was shabby, the beds not very comfortable. The shower didnt work very well and the bathroom fittings were quite old.
- VSA (9/5): - Good experience, staff are very friendly.
- Sharon (6/5): Convenient location and comfy bed for the night. - No breakfast offered. The room was clean but definately needs some updating. We stayed in the same room last year and nothing had changed. The bed linen was lovely and spotlessly clean as was the towels. Tea and coffee making facilities. We were told last year that the property was in the process of updating but no evidence of that in the room we were in. The bathroom was clean. However, lots of blackmould in and around the shower (exactly the same as last year) and on skirting boards. Definately in need of an update. Scatter cushions are grubby and have seen better days and need replacing. Spoilt the look of the bed and room on first impression which was a shame.
- Jacques (8/5): Good value for money. - Room was warm. Very clean.
Staff was very friendly, my request for a late check in was agreed.
- Valerie (6/5): Great location. - Love location. No full mirror in room.
I think needs steam cleaner on mattress for bed bugs as I was bitten twice. Usually good but definitely need new mattress or steam cleaned.
- Davidson (4/5): Dissatisfied - Quaint and good location Room was disappointing. Skirting boards dirty , cob webs found in bathroom . Light switch dirty , chair dusty , wardrobe and drawers dirty . Understand that property is under going renovation but still found the cleanliness could have been improved. Also used kitchen which was handy but this was really dirty . Cutlery was not washed properly and room wasn’t clean .
- Bergin (2/5): - The location How absolutely dirty and low shape it was
- Janette (9/5): Friendly Folkes in a small interesting village - Had a Beautiful breakfast at the T Room nearby as recommended Inn is central with amenities very close by Emm can’t think of anything
- Alex (8/5): Immaculate vibes, great staff and great price - Massive on the inside, great price, brilliant staff and dog friendly. Immaculate vibes inside the pub with the karaoke. N/A
- Kalyn (10/5): - We were running late, the manager went out of her way to wait for us. She was great. We saw her the next day & she was really nice! We enjoyed talking to her. Housekeeping didn't clean our room or refill the coffee/etc
- Atiya (6/5): - The owner was very responsive. We were very delayed due to transportation delays and they kept in touch with us and provided a way for us to access our room even though they had closed for the night.
They also recommended perhaps a cafe that became the favourite we ate at on our stay in Scotland. Laura’s Tilly tearoom is just down the road from The Bridge Inn and it has the delicious food, a lovely ambiance, and very nice staff. Even the regulars who were there often stopped to talk to us. Pictures below

- Steven (10/5): Great staff in a clean well run hotel - Room clean and comfortable. Staff brilliant. Pub downstairs has great atmosphere and welcoming locals. Nothing.
- Stefanie (5/5): Basic but clean , friendly and comfortable. - Good location, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and the rooms spacious. There was no option for breakfast and it would have been nice to have a mirror in the bedroom near a plug socket for my hairdryer. Otherwise everything was good.
- Ingrid (6/5): It was adequate for our needs. - Location was ideal for us Stairs, bed, mould in bathroom, street light shining in (easily solved with a blackout curtain/blinds), shower.
- karen (5/5): Pleasent , but very uncomfortable - We have stayed here last year and the location is beautiful We stayed in room one and the beds were very very uncomfortable need new mattresses badly. Did not have a descent nights sleep for whole stay . We were told last year they were in middle of a refurb however nothing appears to have changed
- Dave (1/5): - Nothing No Restaurant..dirty run down
- Gary (2/5): Disappointingly dirty and very shabby room. The location is great but it is beyond tired - the room we had was almost un - Location is great and was offered an early check in which was very helpful. The room was filthy. Sorry. Can’t let this one lie. We were told we were unfortunate as we had one of the rooms that had not yet been upgraded, but were still charged £90 for a room that was really, really unclean and very poor repair. We daren’t walk on the carpet in bare feet as it was so dirty. I am sorry. Such wasted potential.
- Bruce (8/5): Good stay for travellers. Great beer and staff - Charlie was just lovely. Good clean rooms. God bed and bathroom. We were disappointed restaurant was not operating as the webpage said, but had a great meal in next village.
- Sabrina (5/5): -
- Scott (8/5): -
- Véronique (7/5): -
- Alessandro (9/5): - The staff is so friendly! They received us like in family. Candidly said that they know the place needs refurbishment (which is true), and they will do soon
- Michelle (6/5): Noisy night. - Lovely views.Price OK. Very noisy road.Dirty bathroom.Staff a bit rushed and informal.
- Anna (1/5): - Just location Everything
- John (2/5): - Location The state of the room, the plumbing, The water ran down the back of the wash hand basin, The old water from the sink came up through the bath plug hole.
Cleanliness left a lot to be desired.
No food available, The place is seriously tired.
- Sandra (5/5): Whilst the staff and cleanliness were of property were satisfactory I’m afraid the cost of the room is overpriced for ov - The location was perfect and staff very friendly. The property was very dated and run down and in need of upgrading .
- Elizabeth (1/5): Served a purpose - Seriously this hotel desperately needs refurbishment
- Joyce (1/5): Grim - The bath was filthy. Toilet seat wonky. Mould everywhere. The bedding and the towels however were clean . Mould and dirt everywhere . The bath was especially grim.
- Beatrix (6/5): - Gute Lage
- Yannicky (6/5): - Accueil Le matelas du lit pas confortable
- Susan (7/5): - Location was excellent as we were visiting family and they lived quite near the Bridge Inn Place could do with a bit of a refurb
Shame they didn’t do breakfast
- Christopher a (7/5): -
- Steven (10/5): As always 1st class place to stay. - Excellent single room clean and all amenities required. Staff are outstanding Nothing comes to mind
- Joseph (7/5): Very nice location and helpful management - No breakfast As the inn is trying to renovate rooms manger did explain they are finding it hard at the moment close rooms that is understandable staff management where very nice and professional
Super. Wciągnęło mnie to miejsce. Wszystko było ok.
- Hart (8/5): -
- Linda (10/5): -
- Gary (1/5): Beautiful Scenery, Stops there. - Nice location. Beautiful views. Nice staff. Rooms very poor standard. Not clean. Signs of damp and mold. No wardrobe. Only 1 curtain. There was no hair drier even though the booking said there was, meaning we didn't bring one.
No one came in to check the room after the first night and we had towels that needed replacing, they were still in the bath where we left them in the morning.
The mattresses have had their life and need replacing. No support at all and find it quite insulting that someone took our money and expected us to sleep on them!
- Georgina (5/5): Very disappointed - Nothing Rusty shower rail small crack in the bath. No shower gel coffee absolutely disgusting. Pillows on the bed awful. Certainly won’t be going back. It advertises Chinese restaurant. No longer there. No food They have a visitor kitchen lounge. It was filthy
- Hadleigh (5/5): It was okay - We recently stayed for three nights and overall had a decent experience with a mix of positives and a few drawbacks.
Positives:
• The staff were friendly, chatty, and welcoming, especially at the bar, where everyone made an effort to say hello.
• While there’s no on-site parking, there was plenty of free street parking directly opposite, and a public car park just a short walk away, which was convenient.
• The price was very affordable, making it a good choice for those on a budget.
Areas for Improvement:
• Our room could have been cleaner—there were visible cobwebs on the ceiling, and the shower head was broken.
• During our three-night stay, the room wasn’t serviced at all, so towels and bedding weren’t refreshed.
• There’s no food service available on-site, which isn’t ideal if you’re expecting breakfast or meals.
That said, it’s important to remember that this is a budget-friendly option, and you do get what you pay for. With a bit more attention to cleanliness and room servicing, it could easily be a great value stay Read review

- Mandy (5/5): It was just a stop off from driving, but because we were very tired , we could have done with quiet - Location There were 3 guests so there should have been 3 cups.Cups also small. Very noisy pub across the road. Very hot, so could have done with a fan.

- parkin (9/5): Excellent value, met all our needs, great location - I stayed at the Bridge Inn with my daughter it excellent value, basic but met all our needs.
It was a great location, as we visited the Kelpies sculptures near by as I have always wanted to see these wonderful giant sculptures. Excellent value and great location for the Kelpies
- neil (8/5): - It was basic but clean bed was comfortable and shower was good. There wasn't anything we didn't like.
- brian (2/5): -
- Chris (7/5): I will return. - I like the location - 5 mins walk from the front door and you are climbing up into the Ochils, which are a lovely range of hills. The Bridge Inn does not offer food.
- Juan (10/5): The Great Bridge Inn - Everything about this place is superb
- Daniel (6/5): - The room was very small and the position of the tv meant you couldn’t watch it from the bed.
- Tetiana (4/5): - Власник чудовий. Брудно.Немає фена хоча вказано,що є.Все поламане
