- Jane (8/5): Clinton Lodge in Tamale - The hotel is a little off the main highway. It’s a large space with pool and restaurant area separate from the bedrooms. In the description it said there was a bar but as the staff and owners are Muslim they don’t carry any alcohol, so bar is a little misleading. There was a fridge near the rooms however that you could use for your own beer purchases. The food took ages but it was tasty. I asked for a dish which is usually cooked with sardines and meat. They prepared a fresh dish especially for me. Everyone was friendly and helpful
