Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The landscape is gorgeous, with the trails to different areas of the lodging property.
The dislike was bed size offered wasn't was was there and it was a comfy mattress a has a padding on the floor in a enclosed attic styled loft. What was appreciated is the ventilation of window, fan, and a overview of the inner cabin.
- Valerie C. (10/5): Retreat Environ - If you are looking for a quiet retreat setting with hosts who are attentive but give you all the space you want, Wellnesste is the place for you. The property is beautiful and you will find your self breathing more easily and deeply the moment you arrive. Very dog friendly - bring your own or borrow the caretaker's for some loving!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The owner got a fire ready for us in our cabin, kept us informed from the time of booking to checkout, and was so friendly and informative during our stay ! We loved the cabin and the fact we could bring our dogs who also loved it and felt right at home. Couldn’t have been happier with the trip ☺️
- Mark W (10/5): Peace & Quiet - Wellneste Lodge & Cabins are tucked down a private valley along the rapids of Fish Creek. Charming "tiny house" style log cabins offer guests a chance to unplug, relax and share a new relationship with nature. The family lives on sight and is readily available to assist with any needs. We enjoyed a sunny cold afternoon highlighted by a hike to the rambling river banks. It was peaceful to watch an occasional hunk of ice journey to some unknown cold destination. As the sun set we harbored in for the night at our sweet cabin. Electric baseboard heating, along with a wood burning stove, made it cozy. A modern kitchenette, full private bathroom and "stack" of 3 full size beds accessed by hand hewn log steps & ladders could accomodate a family... we settled for the lower berth. Linens, towels & basic utensils, etc are included. We can't wait to return this Spring to enjoy the trails and preserved nature. This is a place to gladly omit television, technology and internet. This is a place to refresh your spirit with comfort and nature
- Michelle (10/5): Beautiful location to return to nature - This is a beautiful property on a nature reserve. The owner was very friendly and responsive to questions. There is no wifi and limited cell service. Great location to unwind and get back in touch with nature
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Our stay was very nice and very informative and we would come back again thank you chris
- Roberta C. (10/5): FABULOUS!!!!!! - Wellnesste Lodge was a wonderful place!! It was so peaceful and Christophe is very personable. We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend!!! We can’t wait to go back!!!!

- Sara F. (10/5): Weekend away - I enjoyed my stay. It was secluded, quiet and clean. This was a perfect place for me to decompress and I loved that I could hear the river and the birds as well as the rooster.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - My family loved everything about this place, it’s peaceful and Beautiful. If you want to get away from the electronic world, this is the place. Chris is wonderful and really knows the area for all the outdoor activities you might have in mind. I would highly recommend this place.
- Gabrielle (10/5): - It was such a cute property and was absolutely breathtaking in December. The owner was very friendly and was willing to drive us to and from our car because it would not have been able to make it down to the cabin and back up due to winter ice.
- Shannon (10/5): - Beautiful. Tranquil. Peaceful. Quiet. Christophe is quick to respond to whatever your needs are. The property is so pretty. The cabins are so cute.
- Margaret (10/5): Loved it! - Stayed in Thoreau's cabin which was amazing. The property was so beautiful, it was spiritual. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Be aware that the bathroom is shared by other guests and attached to the main house. This stay was one of the highlights of my roadtrip.
- David (10/5): - Plenty of space and beds (in the Adirondack Cabin) for a Family of 5! Beautiful property with live animals and a river.
- Jordyn (8/5): Nice and cozy - We just stayed a night in between a busy weekend. It's very sweet little cabin and very friendly but everything costs extra which was kind of annoying but understandable. Booking through the app for the night was $66 but if you call the cabin to pay it would've only been $56.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful grounds- 60 acres, isolated from highway noise, picturesque river adjacent to the property and quaint, rustic cabins for relaxation.
Christophe, the owner, was friendly and easygoing.
- michael (8/5): wow! - differant experience thsts 4 sure!
- Jean (10/5): - We were not able to stay very long, which was too bad, because everything looked really cool!
- James (10/5): - Such a pleasant surprise! 60 beautiful acres tucked away in the forest. The din of traffic and glare of streetlights give way to the sound of wind in the trees and rushing water of the creek. The cabins are all uniquely constructed and make staying in the woods a very cozy experience. Wellnessta is in a great location- lots to do in the area! Owner Christophe is the best! He makes one feel as if you've known him all your life- very comfortable and laid back, but at same time always available if there is a question or request. This place will become your favorite secret get away!
- Crystal (10/5): - Beautiful scenery, cabin was clean and well heated. Enjoyed the experience and will be back in the summer.
